I ordered a hood for my car. Paid for the hood plus $150 shipping. Hood was shipped and arrived. The hood was junk. Warped and bent and full of chips. It was so bad the body shop refused to paint it or put it on my car. CarID's web site has a 30 day no questions asked easy return policy. Unfortunately they are full of it. The web site gave me an error when I tried to create a return label and initiate the return. I called customer service and got a call center in India or Pakistan or some dirthole country. The operators made me jump thru hoops, even take photos of the hood I wanted to return. I got an email saying they would contact me in 2 business days. Well it's been 2 weeks and no contact!
So despite what their web site says about returns, they will NOT honor my return!
Contacted customer service and they were extremely helpful! Would definitely recommend sopping here
I am very meticulous in researching and cross referencing anything having to do with my vehicle and any upgrades. And Carid is constantly the site I end up at in the end. The reason? My first order from this company I ordered a car cover, in stock on April 28 and here we are on May 29 I have no cover and am fighting to get my refund. I am told UPS lost the package but I do not care nor believe them as I am still awaiting my refund.

I ordered two centric loaded calipers for my car. Then i got a mail and a tracking number with estimated delivery date. But then i got a new mail that it was shipped again. The first tracking was just from the storage to the shop. I live in norway so i waited along time for these calipers. When the package arrive they have just managed to send me one of the calipers. So i mail them back and say where is my other caliper? They apoligized and offered me a 20 $ gift card. Very useful when it cost 85 $ in shipping only to norway. So after some days they send me the other caliper. They talked about it had been damaged under transport. So i assumed that is why i never got the other caliper. Or so i thought. But no! Now they want me to return the caliper i have recieved in the first place because it was this they claimed have been damaged! I inspected it and it looks in tip top shape. I told them that there is no need to return it because it is not damaged. But no they still want me to return it. Why was it delivered to me in the first place if they suspect it to be damaged? I have not said anything to them or tried to return it! So i said can you at least mail it to me on express mail because i need these parts to get my car back on the road. I even offered to pay the extra cost for it. But no, this was not possible they said. I will never shop at carid again!

Now that I go and write a bad review now something can be done YEA RIGHT! I put them out in the trash and you can shove you exception up your $#*!! I post all over about you guys!

Bought a pair of seat covers for a express (cutaway) back in March we just got the truck back from service and custom fab on it. We go to put the seat covers on not even close to fitting. I called them and said could I just exchange them. She said we don't even make them for a cutaway but I was never told that when they shipped them. I said can I get a refund they said you are past the 30 days I said ok but you don't even make the correct ones and you took my money! She said I can give you a $50 website credit and you can send them back (are you fucking kidding so you can sell them again) Thew them in the trash! We have a very large service company and will be letting our customers know the story!
If you haven't already bought from them, man you are missing out on great service, great quality products at very low prices. Shipping is good wish it was faster. Love to see them do next day deliverys.
