I too wish I had read these reviews prior to placing my order. If you need anything in any type of a hurry, stay FAR AWAY from CARiD. I received a standard 7-10 business day "estimate" on when my product would actually ship out. On the 10th day (Friday) I reached out, but nobody could confirm if it would actually ship when it was supposed to. Monday comes and I receive a "Delay Notice", they're going to need another 7 business days to ship my order. They knew that Monday morning, but couldn't communicate that on Friday afternoon,,,,, BS! In the day and age of express delivery, why wait for a company that will take at least a month before you receive your item? On top of that, customer service is absolutely non-existent. Never again!
Do not use this company. Not only will you not get your parts you will wait 8 months and make 15 phone calls to customer service.

Ordered products because they claimed to be able to get them faster. Had truck waiting two weeks because they cannot deliver on their promises. The company orders from others that do not care about customers or business. This company cannot be trusted. No photos because no products. They keep saying manufacturer and warehouse not open on weekends.

I found just the car seat covers I wanted. I tried placing an order using my credit card. My credit card company says the charge was approved, and my credit card account was debited. Car-Id, on the other hand, said my card was declined and no order was placed. I tried it again the next day using a different credit card, different computer, different browser. SAME RESULT, card was charged but Car-ID says it was declined. After being on hold for an interminable period, I hung up. They called me back later to tell me they don't take credit cards, only PayPal.

The payment did not go through for some security reasons. When you submitted the order, the amount was authorized. This means that the funds were put on hold since the payment verification needed to be done. Update: after a month of playing games with me am finally getting a refund (which takes 48 hours).
Am so disappointed at this company they are terrible and their customer support is more then terrible. Alison Rhode the person responding to Negative reviews on the website was not helpful at all and did not took any matter to solve the case.
Resolution, complaint filed with the FTC and going to small court for damages to business due to their ineffective way of operation and lack of customer service.
Don't buy from em do not recommend.

Once you have placed the order, the system did not include the shipping cost to the total amount since the item you have ordered is a Freight part. This company holds itself out as having custom rug sets for cars, including my Bentley Arnage. After paying for the rugs and waiting over a week, I am then informed that I must provide "tracings" in order to obtain the rugs I already paid for! So, CARiD pretends to have the ability to make the rugs but then, after collecting my money, then "oops" we don't really have the ability to make the rugs unless you provide a pattern. Amazing! Who knows if I will even get my $600 back - what a complete joke - not worth even dealing with this company!

After a rocky start due to a confusing product description and initial customer service interaction, I must now write a positive review due to a very pro 2nd effort follow up by their customer service team. The issues with the product resulted in a partial refund and a site credit. Very nice work to solve a customer issue.
They listed a bosch fuel pump and they lied not Bosch and no strainer.
They listed a bosch fuel pump and strainer. They pictured the complete fuel pump, strainer and mounting base. What i got was a non bosch pump only. Paid double for a non bosch pump. No strainer, no mount. Needed to get to job after waiting a week for shipping i paid extra for, so installed the pump. No credit for missing part, or wrong brand, only email that strainer was not included in "Bosch full pump and strainer" part i ordered.
I have updated this review. The customer service rep is still not totally admiting they misrepresented the part. They did offer a small refund for the strainer after i posted a review and a small store credit. I still did not get a bosch pump, it was labled TI. Will see if it holds up.
I'm just reading all these reviews of CARId and wish I had read them before I bought a little "radiator cap" from them. Everyone here is out tons of money on tires, rims, etc. Well, they can't be trusted for itty bitty orders. I ordered a radiator cap and it was $18.04. Within a few hours of ordering (on a Saturday when they aren't shipping), I had to cancel it. I needed to get the radiator cap ASAP locally at O'Reilly's auto parts. They had sent an e-mail saying it was being cancelled and so sorry you need to cancel it. They had the nerve to send me an e-mail asking to do feedback on the lady that sent the e-mail saying it was cancelled and a refund would take 3-5 days.
On Monday, I get an e-mail from UPS saying this item is being delivered on Weds! I called them up on Tuesday to find out WTH is going on. The CSR says the e-mail I received on Saturday is a "return request confirmation" and NOT an actual return. She said if I was to return it once it comes that the actual part price is not $15.99 as it was when ordered. It's something like $7.60 and the shipping is $10.44! Then, there is a restocking fee of $3.50. Did I STILL want a refund or did I want to keep it?
Do we have much choice? It's cheaper for me to keep it and toss it in the garbage or maybe I can sell it on E-Bay. What a SCAM business. Oh, if I keep it... I can get a $10 gift certificate that doesn't expire... so I can order something else and be scammed again!
I'm so sorry for those customers who have lost hundreds of dollars... compared to my piddley $18,04. IDK WHY this business is still allowed to do business. I've not seen one good review about them and apparently if there is a good review... they paid the person to do it. SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMERS!
UPDATE: Within on hour of writing this, CARid sent me a refund through PayPal. It said it will take 3-5 days to show up... we'll see if it really does.

Sensors arrived but I have know idea if salesman or customer service sent them. So all is not lost. Still have to pay for installation but it's better than not getting them.
I had placed an order on some custom rims. Spent a large amount, they did not install tpms sensors. So i notified them, After a week of waiting, I asked where are they. Salesman, said he will look into it.(knowing full well they were not going to send them.) Now they want me to pay for the sensors that should of been installed in the first place and now I have to pay for the installation from a third party. Salesman just says what sounds good to shut me up. What tire and rim shop does not install tpms on equipped cars. WHAT A MISTAKE. Watch out for their online prices, after making a purchase they change and will ask you to pay the higher difference. Cheap Valve stems on custom built rims.
They send me some rims with busted inserts only worth 500 dollars won't send them to me been luring to me for three months pure evil people do not buy nothing from there

Wheels came quick. On website it say free install kits. Well 10 days after wheels got here, i called. They guy said that they should have been sent with wheels and he would overnight them. Well no emails came with tracking number. I called again and they said they would get me the trackimg number. Still nothing. I called and asked to talk to a supervisor and got hung up on. 15 days and no install kits.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I ordered 4 wheels from this company. The purchase was super easy, they guaranteed the wheels would fit my car... but they did NOT! I called customer service and told them the wheels had too big of an opening and didn't fit my car. Erica (the rep) told me they do and to take the car somewhere else since the place I was at obviously didn't know what they were doing. So I did. The next place told me the wheels do not fit without the hub rings. I called CarID back 10 times at least and they didn't answer. Finally Erica answered telling me to send an email, she was super annoyed to be answering the phone. I emailed Erica explaining I needed hub rings. She told me these wheels fit my car and I do not need them. She explained the manufacturer doesn't even make hub rings since the wheels are made to fit. I was so frustrated! I called the manufacturer of the wheels, Versus, and asked them to please explain to me why they weren't fitting my car. The first thing they said was "THOSE WHEELS DO NOT FIT YOUR CAR"... they said they would mail me the hub rings I needed right away. I had to take the car in yet again to get these wheels put on... but oh wait... the bolts they sent for the wheels were too long! So I had to also purchase the correct bolts from the shop I was at. I emailed Erica to tell her all of this information. She was probably embarrassed she had been stating false facts to me without even checking the validity of them and didn't respond. I would never order from CarID again. I can't believe how terrible the customer service is when they have no idea what products they are even selling go to. The guarantee fit is a lie they use to make you feel comfortable purchasing from them. The bolts were wrong, the wheels were wrong, the facts were wrong. For future they should really call the vender before telling lies to a customer. Disgusted by this company!

Products are generally good except for whenever you are working with dealing with warranty and defections which ends up a infinity loop of circles to go through to return, replace and will not allow you refund if the product is inferior due to the inner wiring.

In my original review I explained how CARiD advised me to purchase a strut kit for my wife's Cadillac Escalade. The kit was terrible and did not work. After talking to the manufacturer, Arnott, they agreed to let me return the kit, get my money back and purchase a kit that would fit my wife's truck. Unfortunately, the labor to install the wrong first kit was $700. I asked CARiD to refund my $700 since they sold me a kit that would not work, resulting in the labor cost. All they would do is offer me a $150 credit. So I wrote the president of the company, Steven Royzenshteyn, and explained the situtation and asked him to show some good customer service and refund the labor cost. Three days after I mailed my letter to CARiD, I got a response. They called and offered me $124 back on my credit card, or the original $150 in online credit. REALLY! Your advisor sells me the completely wrong product, causes me $771 in labor costs, and you think I'd accecpt $124 back in return? What a joke! Do not use this company for your auto parts. There are many others out there who offer much better advice and will stand behind their advice. Even the president of the company could care less about his customers.
Bottom line is you trust companies to know what they are advising and what they are selling. You trust them and send them your hard earned $$. But when they screw up and send you something that really doesn't work, and it costs you an extra $771 in labor costs, you'd think they'd do a tad more to try to fix it than offer you $126 back. I've seen my fair share of good and poor customer service and this is one of the worst I've dealt with. It's been an awful experience for me and I'll take my business elsewhere.

Recently, I wrote an a well deserved scathing review of CARiD. After I did so, they FINALLY reached out to me. After me refusing a lame $#*! $30 gift cert. Which wouldn't've covered anything, I got a call from the wheels manager Justin. He apologized ALOT re: the way he treated me. He arranged for multiple refunds and after believing me, has tried hard to clean up their side of it. AFter all that bull$#*!, it's now MotoMetal who has the actual issue. For my model wheel, all the blanks that they received from China (which is where ALL wheels are fabricated) where bad/out of round.
To this day I still have no wheels. Hoping this gets resolved this week. Right now, I'm working with Wheel Pros/MotoMetal directly in order to actually get rims that are round (go figure). This has gone on for OVER A MONTH.

Easily the worst auto accessory company in the US. Ordered about $800 worth of tires and wheels which were delayed a full week. They didn't ship only until I called after about 10 days of waiting for tracking info. Don't bother leaving messages for your sales rep to return your call after you've paid them though - they simply don't care. When tires and wheels finally did arrive, they were missing installation kit so there's another week of waiting and multiple calls. You get what you pay for with this company. These folks are a joke.
