Ordered seat covers for my car. They were listed as vehicle specific, which is very important to me.
Box arrived severely damaged, and with one piece missing (Only one seat base was included, instead of two). It looked like someone had returned the box incomplete, and CarID had failed to inspect the package. The seat covers were also NOT vehicle specific, and to top it off, my particular model/make/year wasn't even listed as compatible.
Contacted CarID, they said they'd make it right, issue me a refund - ok, great. They asked for photos of the defect and said a courier would pick up the return "within the next 3 business days" - also fine. That never happened, the package has still never been picked up. I still have these incomplete, falsely advertised seat covers. Also, its a small miracle these haven't been stolen off my porch in the first place. Contacted CarID again, they said they would look into it and get back to me in 24-48 hours. That was 4 business days ago. I finally hear back today asking for when they want ME to pick up the item (? I'm trying to RETURN, but the email was in not-so-great english so maybe that wording was just a mistake?) and I make my intentions clear, again, and suggest a time.
You guessed it, "we will get back to you in 24-36 business regarding pickup schedule." Yes that's a quote, terrible grammar and all. Also, why ask me for my pickup time preferences if you have no intention of paying attention to them? I'm starting to feel like this return process is all a scam and they just want me to eventually give up so they make a quick buck.
I am so incredibly disappointed in this whole experience. I do not recommend purchasing from CarID, you may get a defective product, and if you do - good luck getting anywhere with a return.
Ordered a part from them and was billed haven't had the order ship two weeks later. Then talk to the customer service people and they said the price advertised was wrong and they were going to up charge me almost 50%. This is the worst company ever!
Ordered a tonneau that I needed for a trip. It arrived in two boxes. The tonneau itself was not damage but the rails that mount it to the bed were and it was missing hardware. I started a claim with them and got nothing but lies and changing stories. I was told they would make an exception and ship one out and put an pickup request with UPS. First they said they were going to ship out just the rails. Then the story changed to they needed to pick up both boxes and ship out two new ones even though one wasn't damaged.
BEWARE: You are not dealing with Americans or speaking with anyone in the United States when you call or email them. I will not be doing business with them any longer and I am going to post a youtube video with audio of all calls, emails, and chats so everyone can see how bad there service is. I asked multiple times to speak to someone in the United States and was told that this wasn't possible.

I bought a set of rims from carid.com and they will not slide over my brake calipers they advertise the rims as fitting a Toyota Tacoma and the rim offset for a Tacoma is et30 they sent me a et12 offset and I've talked to 3 customer service dip$#*!s that keep telling me they fit my truck when they do not fit I will never buy nothing from these half $#*! scamming slobbering $#*!s again, I'm trying to get my money back and I can plainly see these people do not want to refund my money for something that is totally their fault cause they don't know their asses from a hole in the ground, I'm leaving this in paypals hands to get my refund, stay away from this company unless you want to be ripped off like me and thousands of other people

"I ordered a set of wheels and tires from carid.com. They look great only a couple weeks to receive them. I am completely unhappy with the lug nuts I received, they are just a steel (not chrome) lug nut that should be under a hub cap not a custom chrome wheel for everyone to see. I called carid and talked to 2 different tire and wheels reps and they both said that's what you get, and the picture you see of the lugs nuts are for illustration only. I spent almost 2 grand there and for a $35 set lugs they will never get myself, friends and families business. I have to go out a buy my own set of chrome lug nuts. Beware"

Ordered a lumber rack, asked many times about fitting on my truck, the guy said it would. It doesn't! Haha now they aren't wanting to do the return. "Easy returns" is something they say on there site. Oh and they didn't even send a receipt with the order. So not only am I out 750 but I can't legally deduct it. Weird and not professional.

Let's start by saying this. If you purchase rims from this company there policy is if you live in a state or country that applys salt to roads in bad weather conditions the warranty is automatically gone. Even if you don't drive the car in the weather it doesn't matter. They're limited lifetime warranty only lasts one year as well. So everything is against you when purchasing rims from this company. Unless you live in a state or country that does not apply salt to roads then you might be fine but I wouldn't take that risk with this company. Their customer service is a joke as well. When it comes to getting back to you on a timely manner. When their backs are against the walls they will delay and delay... I spoke to everybody and their mama at that company over 10 people working on my case and the same outcome, delay, ignored and repeated the same thing. So don't make the same mistake that I did by spending $1,400 on chrome rims that didnt even event barely a year and couldn't do anything about it because I live in Ohio and Ohio applys salt to roads. The paint was peeling on my rims no rust or anything that could have been caused by salt. Just a crappy paint job, poor quality parts. Dealing with CARiD is a nightmare and big waste of time.

If you ever want anything car related, save yourself the hassle and don't order from this website. I bought a set of Konig Lockout Black Gloss wheels... 1 came with two chips in it. I had pictures of the wheels before they were even mounted with tires (I had to use them since I sold my stock wheels on my car and didn't check to open the box since I assumed my wheels would be in good condition (no dents or signs of wear on the boxes)
Called the "good people" in customer service who basically told me I was beat cause I mounted the tires per their terms and conditions. I understand that part, but they wouldn't even give me a replacement wheel (which they would have done by simply having ups come check the wheel out). I sent them the pictures clearly showing wheels with no tires on them, but they didn't care. Luckily one representative Jorge got me a $50 gift certificate (better than nothing, but totally a joke of an offer).
If you ever want to buy wheels just save yourself the bs and go with a trusted website and not a wholesale dingy shop like Carid, I'd rather drag my face through liquid acid then to ever deal with their customer service ever again.

My MR2 spoiler arrived split. Totally useless.
No support, just washed their hand of any assistance. Take a look at the attached picture, that's how it arrived, box not damaged, box not crushed, but shipped with the thinnest cardboard casing, hence the damage. BEWARE. I have now lost a lot of money due to this incompetent company

I ordered several items from CARiD. Some arrived and were fine, one item, floor mats from Designer Mat International, was a train wreck. I ordered rear mats for my Audi. They were made in Mexico and they were a joke. The holes with plastic grommets did not line up with the pegs on the carpet. The grommets looked like they were placed randomly without a template for the part.
When I tried to return them, CARiD would not issue an RMA until the manufacturer Designer Mat agreed to the return. Designer Mat kept requesting pictures and diagrams to prove that they didn't fit. (3 times!) Finally after weeks of back and forth, I escalated at CARiD to a supervisor who finally approved the return. All this for a $45 return. Oye!

We purchased fog lights and a fog lights assembly and the quality of the plastic that the HID light bulbs were made from was totally unacceptable. They were hollow plastic and the teeth snapped off the first time we removed the bulbs from the assembly. I bought replacements from another company and they were solid plastic parts that worked good. This company has all kinds of fake reviews on their site as they do not allow reviews and they also do not allow negative reviews on their facebook page. Not sure how they are doing that. I had to come here to place a review.

I bought 2 shock assemblies and first time was my fault, trash labeling so instead of buying the left and the right i bought 2 lefts. So i dealt with the week long wait for my corrected part and received it with weather damage to the rubber seals and it did not fit my car. Its been 3 weeks now since the issue first came up. Now im on a waiting list for them to "contact" the manufacturer.

AVOID! Received used open box part and paid for as new. This wasn't really their issue as they are just middle man. HOWEVER. They took my money and did not make it right! Called and let them know. I sent a video as proof and they said UPS would contact me to pick up package. 3 days later nothing. I called back and they said fedex would pick it up that night or next day. Nothing. I ended up contacting manufacturer and shipped it directly to them. Car Id did nothing nor did they they follow up yet I get "how did we do emails". The people on phones do nothing but apologize. Go with Midwest or Auto Anything if you need accessories.

I ordered a bumper cover from CarID that cost $444.00. When UPS delivered it, I was at work, so they called and asked if they could leave it on my porch. I said that was fine. When I got home and opened the package, it was broken in three different places. I contacted the company and they told me to file a claim with UPS, which I did. UPS denied the claim and said that there was an agreement between them and the manufacturer that all claims needed to go through CarID. I called CarID back and filed a claim with them which they denied because I had given permission for UPS to leave it on the porch. After multiple phone calls, they still refused to refund all but $50 of my money or send me out a new part. I would avoid buying anything from this place because they have TERRIBLE customer service and don't back up their merchandise.

According to our terms and conditions, all items shipped via Freight Shipping Service are required to be inspected at the time of the delivery prior to accepting the package and signing for it.
If the part arrived damaged, the receiver needs to sign the Proof of Delivery as "Damaged", refuse the package and contact CARiD to report the damage and request the replacement or refund.
We instruct all the clients about this process at the check out. We do have an official disclaimer on our website and each customer needs to mark it as "read" before completing the order. If the above has not been followed, it is impossible for us to initiate the damage claim and proceed with the refund or replacement.
Also, since UPS was informed by You to release the package, there is no way for us to process further claim. In such cases, we ask customer to contact the carrier directly and submit a claim with them.

Bought exhaust system and spark plugs they say fit my car. Mechanic installed both. Went to pick up car and got 10 miles away and something was wrong drove back immediately. After further investigation the spark plugs were burnt and burned out my ignition coils. Cost me an extra $500 to fix put original spark plugs back in and car is fine. Horrible customer service trying to get this resolved and barely got our $ back for apparently the wrong spark plugs they say fit my car. Do not recommend!

I purchased a bumper for my car. It did not fit. If i fit the front the side were way out, If i fit the sides the front was 2 inches off. The manufacturer requested pics of how it did not fit Pics sent. (14 pics in all) It was a back and forth and CARID always used the manufacturer as the excuse that they could not refund the bumper if i did not give info manufacturer requested they could not honor the full refund. In the end they even requested a video of the fit of the bumper ( 3 weeks later). By then i had my car back together with my original bumper cause i need to get to work. Will never deal with them again. Do not trust anything they say.

This is by far the poorest company that I have ever dealt with they have more excuses and they have a chain of command for the runaround for consumers
I spent over $3000 on a set of tires and wheels they are a guaranteed fit I receive them and the two back wheels do not fit
First they tried telling me it's the car then after I sent videos and pictures it's the famous excuse oh we have to get a hold of management
I explain to them the wheels are hitting the car by a half an inch and management says if I change the tires one size down there pretty sure it will clear
Then they tell me unfortunately the tires you ordered are not available in that size you will have to send the tires back and we will issue you a new set
At first he wanted me to pay for shipping then I argued with him to tell me why finally they said they would pay for shipping and they would allow me a small credit to have the tires remounted
I have done all of that like a fool without returning the tires having their size installed the tire company laughed at me they said changing the tire one size is not going to make you increase a half an inch clearance
Now I am at the point after almost a month numerous hours on the phone I either do not get a response by email or if someone picks up the phone I get there we have to contact management and unfortunately they're out of the office already
It doesn't matter what time of the day I call so I believe there's no management
Just beware car ID does not stand behind their products in anyway
No I need to spend another $1300 to replace the two back wheels
If you are considering purchasing anything from them all I can say is buyer beware
