Attempted to return an item for over a month. Made two calls to Carid, over 5 email exchanges, and email with the mfg. IM chats with customer service Always a run around. Sites return policy is borderline fraud. Carid refers you to mfg for item warranty.

My original review gave 2 stars due to the fact that I was told they wanted photographs to show why the part did not fit. After writing the review on 12/3/19 i was contacted by Jena on 12/4 and she made every effort to correct the situation with out any hassles. Proof they read reviews and are working on customer relations.

I have tried to reach out to them to resolved issues. The website said 25% off entire site on thursday and rep got rude and hung phone up on me next few day they refuse to honor new promotion up to 50% off website and nothing to resolve bunch of crooks false advertisement

I got the struts for my 08 Buick LaCrosse one of them was bad and I had to get different struts for the rear and it'll put them on the front within 6 months are cracking and popping they will not give me my money back so do not buy Monroe quick struts from them total junk

Wrong wheels

I ordered wheels based on their verification and confirmation by sales person that the wheels are guaranteed fit. However, when the wheels were installed the breaks were jammed due to incorrect off set. CARID refused to take them back even though it was their mistake. Beware of purchasing from this company.

Very dissatisfied

I ordered rear brake drum parts from CARID and although I ordered the correct parts they sent the wrong ones. I was not aware right away that the parts were wrong the parts were unpackaged and laid out for the job (1997 Jeep Wrangler) and the packaging disposed of. I have been in touch with CARID and they agree with me that they sent the wrong parts. They asked for pictures of the parts and I sent them, they asked for pictures of the odometer and the vin of the vehicle and I sent them. This has been going on for over 3 weeks. Every time I send an email they reply back that it will be 24 to 48 hours before they will respond back. Now that they have asked for something I don't have (picture of mailing package) I am getting the run around. I paid close to 600.00 for these parts. I don't want anything I don't deserve I just want what I paid for. It is not my fault they sent parts I didn't order, you would think a large company such as carid would take care of a customer when they are in the wrong. Do yourself a favor and don't order from them.

If I could leave zero stars, I absolutely would. This company is ridiculous.
These morons sent me a set of taillights that didn't work and in order to get a set of new lights, I have to send them a video of the part not working so they can then go work something out with their supplier. Their agreement with their supplier is not my problem. They should back the products they sell and replace or refund them if they are defective, damaged, or broken.
Do not do business with CarID. There are plenty of other companies with the same exact products.
You have been warned.

Left us in limbo

We ordered 4 snow tires on Oct. 21,2019. We received 3 tires on Oct. 28,2019. We gave it some time, figuring maybe the 4th tire would arrive in the next few days. That did not happen. We checked the status on FedEx and the shipping labels were screwed up. One shipping label was good, we received that shipment (one tire). One shipping label was a duplicate and 2 tires arrived under the same shipping #. The third and forth shipping labels reported as "pending". We called Carid.com customer service, told them what we discovered about the shipping labels and we had not received the 4th tire and they said they would check into it. It is now Nov. 18,2019 and we have zero resolution. We are still without the 4th tire. They are saying they can do nothing for us, the customer who has PAID for 4 tires and only gotten 3 tires, for 2 more days, until their claim with FedEx is resolved. In the meantime snow is predicted for next week and we, who planned a month ahead to be ready for it, PAID for 4 tires, do not have snow tires on our vehicle.

I ordered headlights, blinker housings & the blinker housings showed up broken. I paid $250 plus for the parts. Sent them pictures of the broken parts, but they refused to replace them & offered a $50 refund. Do not buy parts from them they are scam artists.

The worst customer service I ever went through. They do all they can to make the customer to place the order and after that you are lucky if you get what you wanted. In my case I canceled the order five minutes after I place it, they canceled the order but I got it shipped anyway and no cancellation whatsoever. Sending them back the product would have been more expensive than the purchase itself, so I keep the lesson and write the review.

Others I've dealt with seem to have no customer service experience. 2 weeks later, I finally received my hub centric rings, so I could finally mount my new tires and rims. Went on with no issues and seem to be perfectly balanced. I feel like they can provide a good service but need to up their game on customer service.

I ordered tire and rims and they even came before the stated ship date, but didn't include the hub centric rings and my security lug nuts, so unable to mount my new $1500 wheel and tire set. When I called, the girl basically called me a liar and told me they were on the packing list, so I must have them. Told her I wouldn't know since I didn't receive a packing list either. She then tried to tell me all the lug nut were locking... yeah, she's clueless about what a locking lug nut is. She said they would be shipped next day air in 24-48 hours. Well, that came and went, and still no parts. Called again and the poorly English speaking girl told me she had no idea of the status of the rest of my order and they would email me when it shipped. At this point, I have zero confidence in this company, but I'm going to bother them every day until I get what I paid for. Oh, I also have attempted to contact my sales person and can't even get him to respond. Must really suck to work for this outfit and deal with all this negativity.

Terrible Customer Service

I received a damaged driver side headlight in a headlight assembly. They will not replace it. The customer service people continue to tell me how to be a better customer. I just want a headlight that is not broken. I paid them so i am a good customer, they sent damaged merchandise and told me i was a bad customer?!?!?!?!

Update: today 14th/Nov is exactly 13days since i placed my order on carid.com, i was told by email that the order will ship on 11/11/19 but no tracking and no email from carid.com. The order basically said shipping in 8hrs if ordered now, could the 8hrs mean 8days or weeks or months? The annoying part is the $15 offered for the inconvenience caused, but is it a money issue or time issue?

I searched all over the internet for a vacuum pump and found carid, on their website they have a timer that counts down to the time left for orders to be shipped on the same day. I was excited and placed the order and been waiting for my tracking number for the past 48hrs and still nothing. Its annoying to be deceived into placing an order and get nothing.
I will cancel the order within the next 48hrs if not shipped. I called customer care and they were giving excuses. Stay away get parts elsewhere
Rubbish!

Update: 72hrs past with nothing shipped from carid just a mail offering to bribe me $15, i do not understand who runs a business this way.

I ordered a Blue Ox Goose Neck hitch through Carid. When I got it I didn't open the box for about a week until I was ready to install it. It came in two separate boxes. One box had the correct parts. The other box had a tow bar for a Volkswagen. I was installing the hitch on a Ford Super Duty. I called them right away. Was told they would investigate the situation and email me back within 3 days. Nothing for a week. I called again. They told me the investigation was not finished yet. Waited a week and called again. Was told I would get an e mail in 24-48 hrs. Never got it. Called again. Was told I would get another email in 24-48 hrs again. They emailed me wanting pictures of the missing parts. I took pictures of the part numbers of the parts I was missing from the parts list that was in box one that had half of the right parts. The then wanted pictures of the wrong parts that I got. They then told me the parts in need were on back order. I call the manufacturer of the hitch. They looked it up and said no one had the parts I was missing ordered and that they had several of those hitches in stock. After about 5 weeks I called the credit card company of the credit card I used and explained the situation to them. The credit card company credited me back the full amount of $485 that included tax and shipping. Said they would send Carid a letter saying I was disputing the charges because I did not receive my full order. In 3-4 days Carid sent UPS to my door for the packages. I sent them back and they never emailed or called after that. I wouldn't buy anything through them again. I wouldn't be so unhappy with them if they would at least have asked for the wrong parts back and then ship the correct parts when they got the wrong ones back. I know mistakes happen. But all I got was run around. And when I called customer service I always seem to get someone who I could hardly understand because they seemed to be from a different country.

Had a package stolen. Says right on their site to contact within 72 hours for a replacement. They basically laughed in my face and gave me the finger while holding my money. Will never trust this site again.

Update.
Well after a few weeks many emails it turns out that it wasn't stolen, they just never delivered it! They kept telling me that they needed a apartment number, well I don't live at a apartment. I had to repeat many times that I live in a house. They shipped out another one so let's see if it comes this time.

I would give this company zero stars if I could. I ordered mag wheels for my jeep grand cherokee altitude. The salesman said they guaranteed the fit. When I tried to have them mounted by Firestone Tire, the bolt pattern was wrong and the wheels were 1in wider and would interfere with the shock. I called Carid and got Maria Za who sent me a video of how to measure the bolt pattern. She requested a picture of the measurement and of the label on the wheel box. I complied.
I called the next day and was connected to someone else who would not accept my emailed info and insisted I pay some shop to do an 'official bolt pattern measurement. I said BullS!. They were giving me the run around. I then refuted the charges with Chase, told them the wheels were ready for pickup and expect them to cover return shipment.

Update:
They finally returned some of my money, but even though the screwup was theirs, they charged me $180 for return shipping. They had sent me an RMA and UPS labels but subtracted $180 from the funds to pay for return shipping. Avoid this company. They deserve ZERO stars on the rating. They tried to offer me a $50 gift certificate and asked me to modify or remove the review.

Poor Service don't do it

After asking 3 times that this is the right part for my car, and they insured me it was. Well it wasn't and when I called and let them know, they will not offer any resolutions to help me. They were a month behind on delivery, you would think they would give you a call but they decided to wait for me to call and ask where my part is. Finally resoloved - CARID

Today is 11/4/2019 this has been a long process but with the help of this site and many other sites. CARID paid for the package to be returned. Reversed their hold on my card for the second bumper and then credited me the difference of the first bumper minus the second bumper. So finally this issue is resolved. It is just unfortunate that this all started in August and it finally ended in November. Good luck everyone I hope you have better experiences with on line stores. Well today is November 2nd and as promised here is an update. CARID did send me a ups freight return paper so I did not have to pay for it. That was in my email. So we sent it back.
I was told that when they receive the bumper i should have a credit to my credit card of the difference between the two bumpers and then a refund of the second bumper. They received the bumper on Oct 30th. I checked my credit card today and i only have a refund for the difference of only 444.38. I will wait for Monday to see if they credit the remaining. Again this should take this long to get your money back. But I will give another update on Monday especially if i do not see my refund.

As promised. Well i finally heard back from CARID and they sent me the paperwork. And then when i called to get the bumper shipped back. Guess what the price is 1400. 00 dollars. You guessed it. It is so much money that it actually is cheaper for me to keep the bumper and try to recoup my money on my own. I guess now i will need to learn how to sell the products. CARID makes it so hard to send something back and put it all on the customer. And they never even tell you about it until the end. Lesson learned. Make sure you know the return policy. Specifically when you have to pay for it. All I know is I will never ever buy anything from CARID again. And Now i will search and post my story on every site that i can. I hope my story helps you. Because i am about now out1700 dollars. Hopefully I will recoup some of it. Good Luck Everyone.

I recently bought a bumper from CARID. After speaking with a representative and explain that I have a 2019 F250 with an aftermarket receiver the 30K magnum the customer service rep suggests to purchase the Addictive design bumper. So all is good I order the bumper.
After waiting a week or so we received the bumper. And to our dismay the lights that the customer service person helped purchase do not fit the bumper when you have your license plate light on the bumper.
We called CARID and they said that they are the wrong lights. But still after discussions the other lights won't work either.
Then my husband measured the bumper and realized that the bumper won't fit the 2019 F250. It is off by 9/16th
MY husband did another search to find a bumper that will fit. He did find another bumper and called the manufacturer to verify that it would fit our truck especially with the magnum receiver and the manufacturer explained yes it will.
Well unfortunately we could buy the bumper from the manufacturer directly. So, my husband called CARID.com and spoke to a customer service rep explained to them our issue. That we need to send the first bumper back and need to then purchase the second bumper. And the customer service rep said not a problem. She will put the paper work in and when they receive the first bumper, she will then send out the second bumper and give the credit for the first bumper and charge for the second bumper.
Customer service rep said you should receive an email 24-48 hours with the return information.
So we wait 24-48 no email.
I followed up with CARID again. And they said they would need pictures etc. So, I did sent them an email with the pics.
They said let us review the email and we will send you another email 24-48 hour. OK.
I wait 24-48 hours nothing.
I call again and then they said they contacted the manufacturer and they will need to see pictures of the packaging. So, we took pictures of the bumper already to ship.
They said ok give us another 24-48 hours.
So, I wait 3 days.
I received nothing in email.
I call again.
Then I receive the 2nd bumper in the mail.
They charged my credit card for the second bumper.
And I still have the first bumper.
So, at this point I am so confused. But was like no problem. I will just send the first bumper back.
So, I called CARID again asking customer service the status of this email I need to receive to send the 1st bumper back to them.
It has been several weeks to get this done.

Then the supervisor says oh by the way, you do know that you are responsible for shipping this product back to us. You have to find the fright carrier and pay for it yourself.
I said NO. I was never told this. Why should we have to take care of this since the bumper doesn't fit and the what is on your website that shows the lights and the lights do not fit with the license plate lights in. Which by law you need. This is false advertisement.
She said that my account doesn't show anything about the bumper not fitting. And she will need pictures. So I sent them the pictures today. We shall see if I have to just eat the shipping cost.
