I ordered running board for my ford explorer 2020, per website product is available shipping with in 24 hours ordered December 10 got ups email but nothing was delevered called customer service they said it was back order will be shipping January 6, called again after January 6 back order again till January 27, then February 7, then February 28. Until now nothing I did received any product. Money was deducted December 2019 it is now 2020 February. Over priced scammer waiting for my refund horrible experience I have all emails and conversation copy moving towards legal steps now.
On Wednesday I placed an order with CarID regarding one rim that I need it. When I placed the order it said it will be delivered the next day. I got my shipping confirmation and I didn't receive anything. I waited for fedex to be out for delivery and I didn't receive anything. I called and no one knew what to say. I ordered four rims thinking I got the best deal. I called on Friday to see the status on the one rim and he said it's not in stock. It might arrive in 10 business days. I told them I don't like tow wait since the website stated shipping in the next day, so cancel that order. I wanted to cancel the four rims order and it was less than 12 hours and he told me he can't do that at all. I called them Monday to cancel the order and I was told even if I don't receive the order I will be charge for this order. The representative Alejandro or Alexandro didn't write about the cancellation. This is the worst company to order anything from. They are expensive and the worst customer service. Now they are telling I am responsible for shipping and everything. Why I have to pay for something I tried to canceled right away? They are making consumer keep the items even before it was shipped out.

I received the wrong brakes. When I requested the brakes I ORDERED be delivered next day, I was told not until the wrong brakes were returned. I HAD NO BRAKE PAD LEFT! I needed brakes immediately. I purchased new brakes and demanded a refund. I drove 26 miles to return the brakes to UPS. In the interim, CarID sent the correct brakes which I did not authorize as I already had brakes put on. Now I am told I must take the second set to UPS 26 miles away! Stay away from Carid!

I purchased window deflectors for my 2020 BMW 750 and they were defective. I installed them properly as I had bought the same ones for my last car a couple of years ago and had no issues. These were inferior products and when I called the day after I installed them stating they were not working properly, I was told I would get a replacement set sent right away. Three weeks went by and still had not received anything. I got an email stating to send pictures of the deflectors installed on my car, which I did and then I got an email stating I must've broken them when I put them in and they will not be replaced. I said they are not broken, they are installed properly, but the window keeps hitting on the way up and they are not broken they are just defective. Never heard a thing from them since. I got stiffed from this company after spending over $1000 with them

The product seems well made. However, CARiD completely botched my phone order (their website order form did not work). After waiting 2 months for my backordered items, I received $500 of useless covers. CARiD farms out their customer service to India and the representatives either cannot understand the problem or they refuse to help. In addition, they are rude. I did not receive even a partial refund. No exchange. Nothing. They blamed the manufacturer completely and CoverKing states the seats were sewn as ordered by CARiD. I thoroughly researched the product and neglected to look at credible reviews of the vendor... which are mostly variations of my story. I hope this helps someone avoid my costly mistake.

I received a Porsche part (hood gas strut/support) and the fitment wasn't even close. OEM cartridge is 7" long and the part sent to me was over twice that long. I was required to e mail a photo of both struts, VIN number of the Porsche, numbers off the shipping package. I did and in three days haven't heard from them. I called and they say they never received the e mail but would look into it and get back with me in 72 hours. I am suspicious that I'm being put off. I have ordered from this company a couple of years ago and was happy with the items ordered. Never again from CARid.
I placed a 7K order with Issac yesterday and went to check and they never shipped then they sent an email requesting a form being sent to them when I called to check on my order. I asked the sales rep if the stuff was even in stock and he said of course however Issac said it had to be dropped shipped yesterday. This proves that this company has pure liars handling their customer service. They must train the employees there to lie. Stay away from this SCAM company.

I ordered an engine that arrived in a timely manner. The kit for gaskets was included. However, one gasket was missing and was no longer available locally or online. I called CarID on six separate occasions over one week. Each time I was promised that I would be contacted either by phone or email. I was NEVER contacted by anyone. When I would call back they blamed it on their supplier not getting back to them. But when I called the supplier of the gasket kit they responded almost immediately.
Hard to believe the rating they claim. I found their customer service to be non-responsive and only interested in getting you off the phone.
While writing this they have given me another phone number of a supplier and tasked me with follow-up on the issue. Again, they got me off the phone.
Working with CarID means that your problem is your problem

I ordered a pair of Braum seats from Carid. When I received them one of the seats was cut short by the top slot where the seat belt was. I tried to send it back and they flatly refused. I hired a lawyer and contacted my credit card. Resolution division. I finally settled with them but this went on for 9 months. I would never recommend doing business with these jokers. Caveat Emptor! Beware worst customer service ever. Never Again!

I called in twice. The first time was to get an order status as my product was supposed to ship unto 48 hours after the purchase. When I spoke to Amelia, she told me the factory was closed until 9 am Pacific (about 1 hour wait), and would get back to me via email within 24 to 48 hours with the updated status. I explained that waiting up to 48 hours on an order I placed 2 1/2 days prior, was not acceptable and would appreciate a call as soon as the factory was open for a revised shipping time. I was informed that their system is not set up to do this.
I went out to Amazon, in stock, and free shipping (cheaper deal). I called back and spoke with another lady (didn't catch her name). I explained everything that had transpired in the last 5 minutes and cancelled my order. She told me she couldn't cancel the order until she had confirmation the product hadn't shipped... holding my money hostage is the way I looked at it.
Since they wouldn't immediately process my refund for product not received, I contacted my bank and filed a dispute.
Good luck with customer service if you have an issue. Online, no one ever came in to a chat request. Calling in, you will ALWAYS be put and hold for "3 - 5 minutes". I get the feeling they have to call multiple departments to figure out what is going on. Too many moving parts does not make for good customer service.
I don't usually leave poor reviews, but this was a first time use, with horrible service. Buyer Beware.

Consumer beware of this organization! They will agree to a price match over the phone and then ship you a cheaper inferior product -even though you give them precise product sku.
After they debit your account, you will wonder why you haven't received an e-mail confirmation invoice of your purchase. They conveniently change your e-mail address to make it appear as a honest mistake.
Now call their customer service representatives or voice your complaint with a supervisor and they will demand additional payment from you and ask you if you have the e-mailed invoice that they altered and never sent.
If you want what you originally ordered, have to take out your credit card and pay additional on what you requested!

I purchased set of taillights fog lights and headlights from them in same order and i talked to an employee who said she would put all my items same box to lower shipping cost. A week later a receive my parcel with only 2 out of 3 items in it. I got a hold of customer service and they sent out missing item in a week time. After receiving the item, I go to install all parts and come to figure out that the fog lights I ordered for my Jeep (JL) do not fit. Again I contact them and tell them that they are faulty and do not fit my Jeep, which they go on to say they must. I proceed to send them pictures showing the problem exactly, they respond saying " you are right these fit the JK model" then show me replacement ones that fit my Jeep. I agree to pick a replacement but then they expect me to pay the difference of the two sets and pay the shipping to me and the return shipping of the faulty headlights. I regret ever ordering from them and I advise others to avoid it if possible as well, I had a terrible experience and I am still dealing with after 2 weeks. I strongly encouraged them to take my money and better train their employees in every aspect it takes to run a business.

Ordered front mats for a 2015 Honda Accord. Paid premium $70. Got mats with attached tags that say Chevrolet. Quality of the mats is worse than Walmart at three times the price. When I called to return and get credit, They said "This is a custom made mat. No returns." Worst product and worst customer service. These people lie and steal.

So I had a somewhat caring CarID respond to my public complaint. I actually thought they would resolve my previous issues... No No No,,
Please don't listen to the total BS they give out. Admittedly I was offered a miserly sum as further compensation & then a gift certificate are they that stupid to think I would ever buy from them again.
What's laughable is I requested a phone conversation to discuss & explain the issues, did I get one No & when I tried calling them, the very bold customer service agent who responded to my sitejabber complaint was not even on her own extension, she probably wrote the caring online response from a spare toilet cubicle.
Seriously guys they are a total joke please save yourselves the aggravation & there's hundreds like me out there.
Go somewhere else please, please listen to what I'm saying they are total scammers who have no moral fibre to stand upon, go somewhere else & have a better experience.
P. S whoever at CarID who responded to my last update, learn how to write your own email address, perhaps it should be " *******@carid.com"!

S I forgot the lesson for CarID when you teach your employees how to speak & respond to customers there is a golden rule, teach them to listen & I mean listen to the complaint & as much as possible & interact in the way they ask. I've spent some serious money with these guys & ive concluded these simple realities about them.
They have amazing products, why because they don't make any of it!
The rest is deplorable,...
The problem is as follows.
1) they know nothing about the products they sell.
2) they will lie to make a sale.
3) they will not honor any agreement that is morally or legally based true.
4) half of the employees can't even string a sentence in English or any language.
5) once those awesome products with great names leave their facility you can say goodbye to a nice working viable product at your doorstep, because whoever they use as shippers could not care less.
6) it does not help that the packaging dept. needs to learn how to pack something indeed anything, I doubt they could successfully wrap a Christmas present between them.
7) when you do complain & how dare you, the attitude is probably the worst I've ever come across. I think I had only one successful resolution out of 8 purchases.
8) this is my issue! I should have learned after prob the third purchase never to use them again I did not listen to others or my inner reasoning. (Sarcastically true).

That felt good LoL I have now found good honest & efficient motor parts suppliers that give a damn they are out there but CARID IS DEFINITELY not one of them.
So now it's been a month & all the responses with "We want to help" is absolutely as I previously said BS!
You know I dont actually think I've ever delt with such a candid bunch of liars.
Now I like dealing in the truth & to be honest they did give me another $100 as compensation so I thank them for the tiny movement in their position. However due to their lack of abilities in all departments I ended up with a battered & bruised New car battery due to pathetic packaging. If I requested a new one guess what they wanted to charge me for the one until the other one was returned. HAHA have any idea what a fraud that is & occasionally they get away with too.
Near the beginning of my dealings I bout a set of wheels & tyres, unbeknownst to me the wheel cantering rings were the wrong size only by 2 mm sounds nothing but it caused $1500 worth if damage to my car. I had to replace wheel bearings, 2 wheel hubs & one wheel & tire due to their total incompetence. There was more also but it's really it worth it.
Hiring a lawyer at the time was not worth it I probably would have lost more than gained.
So reader if you are considering buying something important from these scam artist & they are very good, just remember my little story here, they get you in, they turn you over, & laugh at you when there's a problem.
There is no moral fibre anywhere if you only knew the conversations I've had with them you would not believe they exist.
I now am recouping my loss by 1) loosing them great business, which I can't say here but I am able to do &: I've now composed a letter to the CEO & they most certainly did not reveal that info, but I know how, I expect a disgusted response in how the staff in his employ would do that. If rejected & refused then I have another weapon up my sleeve for those bandits they call CARID. I have a new saying I hope it gets published CarID stands for Complete Assholes Repeatedly Indignant & Deplorable sums it up'!
I ordered a set of headlights from this company with a 5 year warranty. I have had the headlights about 2 years now. One went out so i reached out to replace it with the warranty. They first said it would be shipped out in a few days. Well, a few days turned into a month. It's been almost two months now and i still do not have my part. They also said they have no idea when I would be getting the part. But at least they gave me a 10 dollar voucher on my 160.00 headlights. Why have a warranty on something you can't replace? I asked if they could just send me different bulbs, even ones that were cheaper then the ones i purchased. I was told that they cant do that. I would stay away from this website.
