Messed up order

I ordered WeatherTech floor mats for my vehicle (almost $400 worth). One package came that contained a K&N air filter. I called to report the problem and holy cow! What they make you go through to actually get what you've ordered and paid for is insane! One week after calling them and waiting 15 minutes on hold to speak to someone, and then having to send photos of the filter I got to prove that they screwed up, I finally got a return label. Still no confirmation on the floor mats that didn't get shipped... Needless to say, I will not be ordering from this company again and I will advise others not to order from them either.

Bait and switch

Showed a $70 part on web site with $40 core charge, Item was out of stock, They siad let me look and they found what i needed sound good but wait, Yes we have one its $170 and $100 in core charge, Waiting on my order we will see how it goes, At least they found what i needed, Lets see how long it takes to get it.

Absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. I ordered a black Chevy emblem for my truck. I ordered a T-Rex Grille emblem for $55 for a 2005 Chevy, I got one from AMI stylings for a 2014 Chevy. Wrong brand, wrong year, and a much cheaper part. I've talked with customer service 4 times, still can't get an RMA number or return label to ship it back. They refuse to do anything until they get it back. They told me that they would ship the replacement once they have tracking that I shipped the wrong one back. But again still no Rma or return labels. Each time I talk to them I get informed that they have already done an exception for me, since they said they would ship out the right one when they got tracking instead of the part. Like they did me a favor. And also tell me each time I talk to them it will be another 24-72 business hours. This company is a joke, I do not recommend them and will never do business with them again.

Placed a $ 2800 order for wheels and tires. It's been a month and I keep getting the runaround on details. They've told me for 3 weeks now that they'd ship in 24-48 hours! And I was informed today after almost a month of waiting that I can't even cancel my order at this rim nor can I return my order. Long story short, terrible customer service, terrible company. I feel like I'm being scammed in every way shape and form! Please do not order from these clowns.

Placed an online order. Was told the part was in house and would ship the next day. One week later i checked on my order only to find that the ship date was changed to be more than a month away, but my credit card had been charged. How do you charge a customers credit card for a part you don't have in stock and can't ship for another 4 weeks? Absurd.

Fading rims
May 11, 2020

I was so happy a year-and-a-half ago, when I was able to find the pink rims for my brand new Kia Soul. They were affordable and they were already bright magenta pink! I paid $184 for each Rim, plus I had to get it mounted and installed myself. I was like wow. I found a steel! Not so much. Now that I've brought it to the company's attention, that the rims have stated started to fade! They say," that it's out of warranty and there's not much they can do! Other than give it to me at their cost. I'm sorry I'm on a fixed budget just like most Americans. Their cost is still $659 which is only taking $100 off the rims. So now I have to purchase them all over again. This is not acceptable! If you sell something you should stand behind its workmanship! When you buy rims you expect them to stand the test of time. Or at least the life of the car! Not fade in less than a year and a half! Maybe one rim, NOT all 4!

Horrible shipping

Went to track my order and says shipping label created but my order just sits there never put on truck been a week. And ups comes every day. They tell me 24-48 hrs to check into my order sick of waiting. Wont order from them again

Srt10 bumper

I had originally recieved a damaged box and bumper. At first, the company said there wasn't much they could do since UPS was supposed to have someone sign for it and they did not. It wasn't until after I gave them a terrible review on here that they decided to send me a new bumper, free of charge and shipping. They were also asking for a better review. I'm grateful they had made the problem right, seeing that I did spend over $300 for the SRT10 bumper. I also do not think they would've done so if I hadn't given them a poor review. Make sure you know exactly when your package is being delivered so you can refuse if if it is damaged.

I put in an order for parts in February, selected all the right year, make model, trim for the car. Double checked and triple checked because I was worried about the part number being the same for another trim that I was fairly certain should be the same for the other trim.

I received the parts in a reasonable time frame but as I was worried about when I went to work on the car the parts were not the correct fit at all for my trim.

I won't go through all the details of the back and forth with support but the end result was that I had to spend hours of my own time researching and eventually even reaching out to the manufacturer to confirm correct part numbers for my model and trim. Before I did all that I was told no refund was possible because "according to your VIN your vehicle has Mexico specifications and CARiD can guarantee fitment just to North American built vehicles". This is inexcusable in that #1 my car was manufactured in Mexico for delivery in the U.S. market and #2, Mexico is part of North America. So then I had to pay for a carfax to prove the origins of my car and give them all the part numbers I had researched as the correct ones. Finally after a little more back and forth I received the correct parts in early April. The correct parts were actually less expensive than the incorrect parts but I received no refunds, credits or other compensation.

I was ready to let it ago and was not going to give a review and was possibly even willing to give them 1 more try with some less expensive purchases. Then a month later (mid May) my debit card I used as payment was flagged for fraudulent transactions. The first transaction was to none other than carid and the next was to another online parts dealer.

I can't say who initiated these transactions that have caused me further inconvenience but at this point what I can say is that at best carid is grossly incompetent in listings, support and security. At worst they are simply not trustworthy on any level.

I ordered 15 quarts of Motocraft Oil over the phone and paid $79.63 including shipping and taxes. A few days later, they sent an email saying they wouldn't ship my order unless I paid $41.17 more! I talked to their customer service, and they said their was a problem in their system and the price I was charged was wrong. They refused to fulfill the order. Of course, I'm not going to pay another $41 for 15 quarts of oil. That would make the price ridiculously high.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered some parts on Monday night. I changed my mind within 1/2 hour, Hit cancel order. Then it tells me I have to call in to cancel. I called Tuesday@ 8:00 am. They said they would put in a request for it. Why they have to do this I still don't know. They probably didn't even pull it off the Shelf. They said if it isn't before it ships, I could return it. With a shipping cost. They said it would take 24-48 hours to process. They would send me an email. I waited the full 48 hours called back. They said " It Takes 24-48 hours." I told them it was 48 hours. In the mean time they took the money from my account. I called back Later that night, they said " It looks like it is going through, you should have a email send and be refunded shortly.It is now 4 days after initial call, and still no email or refund. I will never buy anything from them again

Go absolutely anywhere, but to CARiD. Every website is cheaper, every ship time is faster, every shipping cost is cheaper. Don't waste time on this second hand money scam website. Get the part number and search else where.

Fraud Company

I ordered a set of Shift Spring Chrome wheels on 04/28/20 (Order #*******), which were on back order because the item is not in stock, and I paid in full with my debit card and was told that it would be about a month to a month in a half before it shipped, but I would receive a tracking number etc. On 05/05/20 at 1:47 pm, I called to cancel my order because I decided to leave my newly purchased car the way that it is. The first person that I talked with asked me why I wanted to cancel my order and then I can tell that he is reading some written spiel about he is not authorized to cancel the order and that I would have to be referred to a wheel specialist. He told me he was going to place me on hold for about 5 mins while he checked into something. He supposedly took my info, and told me that someone would be contacting me the next day.
Today, 05/06/20 at 9:00 am I called and talked with another rep who again asked me why I wanted to cancel my order, read off this same spiel as the guy from the day before, told me he was gonna place me on hold for 5 mins while he checked my order, then he comes back on line and tells me that I have to go on hold for another 5 mins, then places me in touch with a woman who places me on hold and then she finally tells me that it should take 24-48 hrs to "Process" my "Request" for a refund, so keep checking my email. This is after she acknowledged that my product is on a long back order. I asked her why I had to go through all these changes just to simply cancel my order and get my refund and she said that was the way they do business. *I write fraud cases every week at work in my law enforcement field and this whole business reeks of a scam. I even told the lady that I feel like I'm being scammed because it doesn't make any sense that it is harder to cancel my order than it was to make it. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB. Please avoid this business at all cost! I should not have to give a reason as to why I want to cancel my order when it is simply that I decided that I didn't not want or need the product anymore.

I ordered 4 season a/c parts and i received aftermarket chinese inferior parts. It took about 40 minutes to convince them to send me a return label. I will never do business with carid again. STAY AWAY!

I ordered a seibon carbon fiber hood on 4/3/2020. 2 weeks later I still don't have a shipping info. Called them multiple times and they could not give me a date. My brother In-law order seibon hood 3 weeks after I did and got his hood 4/5/2020. I'm still waiting for mine. Unacceptable, and still no update on where my hood is!

Returns

They are quick to sip your item but when it arrives wrong and/or you need to return you can't get them to respond. They have a 30 refund and you will not get a response until after that has expired so all they offer is a credit or replacement. We have been trying for 3 weeks to get an RMA and now no one there knows anything and they stopped answering the phone. We have emails stating they would issue an RMA and refund but they are not doing anything. Stay away from them, show elsewhere unless you like to throw money away

Spyder headlights that I purchased arrived damaged. They refused to return or exchange because the undamaged light had already been opened and and wasn't in "NEW" condition. Also, the customer service was sub par, I waited on hold for 15 minutes, twice. They were also slow to respond on email, which is why I had to call their customer service line. Ultimately, the charge was disputed. I will never purchase from them again.
