Don't order anything from them, I order seat covers from them that they said would fit my make and model. I took the seat covers to a professional and clearly they did not fit. Now I'm in the process of filing several complaints against them until I recieve my Money back. They told me that seat covers are universal and that's a lie.

Just noticed they were charging me twice $14.17 for shipping. Talked to customer service and they just tried to argue with me that I was wrong. No telling how many people they scam out of money like that. And there chat support people just close the dialog on you when you are trying to explain what is going on.

Subtotal should have been $127.75 but they kept adding the delivery to the subtotal and then charging me again.

I spent over $1200 for wheels and tires. Initially the wheels I purchased the estimated ship date was two weeks out from my purchase date. Once a couple days past the estimated ship date I got no email regarding a tracking info. I called the wheels and tires specialist and they informed me that the wheels I purchased were out of stock and backordered for six months. Why would they sell me wheels that aren't in stock and why do I have to be the one to call them to find out that. They should take the initiative to give me a call back. So I ordered a new set of wheels and once those arrived at my house, one of the wheels didn't have the balancing weights attached on the inside and another wheel was missing balancing weights. It says the wheels come mounted and balanced but clearly the balancing wasn't done and now I have to take my wheels and tires to a shop and pay even more money to get them balanced. I tried calling the wheels and tires specialist at 4pm PST but the automated message said they were closed even though it says they close at 6pm PST on their website. At this point the least they can do is pay for my balancing that I will have to get done at a local tire shop. If I'm paying over $1000 I'd expect them to properly ship my tires and wheels in a timely manner and even do the balancing correctly. UPDATE: They were able to compensate me for the balancing and installation of the wheels and tires.

Web site stated part was available and they ship to military APO address (outside US). Site said there may be a 1-3 delay on shipping due to COVID. No order confirmation. 12 days later received shipping confirmation with my correct address and a note saying COVID may delay shipping 3-5 days. 2 weeks ( later 4 June) I checked USPS and it said part delivered to CARID address on 1 June. Contacted them and was told part not in their supply, they ordered it and manufacturer did not ship to APO address. They would ship it within 1-2 days. Now 6 June and no shipping confirmation. Misleading information on web site, poor customer communications and service, and long delays in fulfilling order. Might cost you $1-2 more, but worth it to find another source.

I made a purchase for a bumper last Friday. Was sold the item with free shipping., paid for item and invoice reflected free shipping. We did not receive the item on time. When we called, was told we now needed to be charged shipping (after a closed sale) due to their incurred expense with distributer. The is unacceptable and poor customer service. We were also able to go online and still see offered with no shipping and were being told we had to pay addtl money to get the item after a closed sale. Very disappointing and will not be referring this company to anyone in the future.

HORRIBLE COMPANY

Absolutely a joke trying to get anything done with this company! I ordered wheels from carid and within a couple of days the order had processed and my account was charged, fast forward to almost three weeks later and nothing has actually shipped a label was created but nothing was ever picked up. After being told on the live chat I would have to contact the wheel department directly because they are the only ones that can help me. I received an email saying I would get the status within 24-48 hours, three days later I still had not heard from anybody so I called the wheel department and after being on hold for 35 minutes I was told it was a warehouse error and the wheels would ship in 24 hours. No surprise nothing had shipped 2 days later so I called the wheel department again and was told that I would have to call again the next day to get a cancellation request. Once again after being on hold for awhile I get told that the previous person I talked to put in a cancellation request and didn't have to call again. In the end I finally got my refund after fighting for them for almost a month, Horrible customer service absolutely will never order from this company again.

I bought and financed products, went to have a professional install them and he told me he's never seen such poor quality in his life. The parts are not made to fit my car like the website said. After $950 spent, car Id refuses to refund me. The fiberglass is flimsy and wavy, looks terrible next to my sports car. Save your money. Do not buy from here

I ordered a new set of wheels and tires that on their website claim to be in stock 3 weeks ago $2300 and I cannot get ahold of any of these people. If it is in stock why is it taking so long to ship? Is this some sort of false advertising?

Horrible service

Sent late and missing parts, 10/10 would recommend shopping else where. Over priced from competitors who gave an accurate time frame for delivery, have it from the manufacturers shipping nots they never requested the tracks to go with the cross bars. I am very disappointed offered a very minimal refund and half of it was in a gift card so I'm forced to shop with them again

I bought a Leer SR250 rolling tonneau cover for my 2018 Sierra 2500 HD and installed it exactly according to the instructions that came with it, AND the Leer installation video on CARiD's website. The cover is just too short. CARiD's customer service was next to useless, and their final remedy was to give me a $30 refund (on a $355 tonneau cover) Leer's customer service wasn't much better, assuring me that after the cover sat in the sun for a few days it would be fine. Tonneau cover installation isn't rocket science, and in fact, it's a very easy installation. I have made every possible adjustment and no matter what Leer says, this cover is just too short. I'm giving two stars instead of one because if this cover was the right length it would be a good, quality cover. I submitted two different negative reviews (I toned the second one down) but CARiD won't post either of them on their website. I am VERY disappointed in both of these companies, and probably won't buy anything from either of them again.

I bought a cover for my 2011 Ram Dakota ST via the selection tool on this website. The cover seemed like a good deal pricewise and cost. While the cover fit most of the truck correctly the front does not go over the front bumper as it should and as it does on the rear of the truck. Seems like there's more than enough cover on the rear (a little too much?) while the front does not have enough. CS told me via multiple emails that if I didn't have the original box then they won't do anything about it and I'd also have to pay the shipping cost. They also said something about it's a universal fit and "it is what it is: etc. Whatever! I won't be purchasing anything from this out fit again! It is what it is@!

I bought a turn signal for my boyfriends FJ Cruiser. It was his gift for getting back from Deployment as hes in the military. They came broken, and the light socket was bent. I have spoken to multiple customer service people, all of which are not helpful. One person said they cant be returned as they were taken out of the box, one said they were "Custom" and cannot be returned - which they ARE NOT. I spent over 177$ on these lights and they're BROKEN - not to mention it is still in the 30 days. Do not order from this company, might as well just burn your money instead. I am telling everyone to never order from you CariD. Shame on you.

This company is absolutely amazing!
I had accidentally removed an item from my order and didn't notice until after I paid. Shipping would've cost more if I simply created a new order, so I reached out. Customer service responded to my live chat immediately and offered me a discount and a gift certificate that MORE than made up for the lost cost in shipping. They were friendly and super helpful.
Even more, the prices are the lowest online (although shipping can make it a little more expensive), and they have more options than any other website I found!
I would definitely use this website again! 5 stars!

I ordered some foglights for my vehicle. They were $32 and I then payed an extra 35 dollars in shipping. When I looked at the charges after purchase it says $101 (I'm ordering from Canada so the conversion). However, two days later I get another charge for $104. I thought this might be an updated conversion on the date of shipping but my card has actually been charged both the $101 initial charge AND the $104 charge later on. KEEP IN MIND THE FOGLIGHTS COST $32! I'm looking at paying over 5 TIMES what they're worth. Seriously considering never buying from here again, especially this being my first experience. Hoping customer service answers soon, as the gripes about customer service make my pending experience look grim.

Damaged rims
May 29, 2020

Rims purchased just before Covid pandemic. Received when NYS was essentially shut down. They sat in my garage for over a month. When finally put on 3 or 4 rims were damaged. Company refuses acknowledge issue because it's been over 30 days; even with a pandemic going on. Disappointing customer service. Paid over 2K for damaged goods.

My wheel order was shipped to my installer as requested. However, the free mounting hardware kit containing the lug nuts failed to ever be shipped. Meanwhile, my vehicle is at the installer to swap tires onto new wheels, but without any hardware. After a 30 minute hold forthe "offshore" customer service on a Thursday that I would need to wait 24-48 hours for approval to ship the missing items by overnight UPS service. I was advised that the weekend did not apply to the 48 hours needed to wait, so the earliest I may get the parts is the following Tuesday. This is unacceptable due to an error on CarID's behalf. Item should have been sent out without question Thursday afternoon. Upon suggestion that I would purchase my own lug nuts reimbursement was denied. Waited patiently for an update on the following Monday and never received any communication. After another 15 minutes on hold I was lied to and told the parts were shipped and they provided a UPS tracking number which happened to be one of the original wheel tracking numbers from a week prior that I already received. Ultimately, after a series of lies the parts finally shipped on Tuesday and were then misrouted by UPS for another day of delays and a vehicle out of service for nearly one week. I originally decided to make my purchase from CarID based on the fitment guarantee for the wheels, providing the install hardware free of cost and hoping for less inconvenience would justify the nearly $70 in shipping costs. Shop around, the other big players in the aftermarket wheel business provide free shipping, but no installation hardware.

Save yourself some grief and take your business elsewhere. This was my first and last experience with CarID. I will give my business to a company that cares about customer satisfaction.

UPDATE: CarId offered a $20 Gift Card as an incentive to 'buy' a better review. My time and effort are worth more than $20. It would still not change the fact that the customer service is more than appalling on all levels. Keep your $20 and buy coffee and donuts for your remedial customer service training class.

They charge shipping on each item because they are shipped from all different places. $22 shipping for a break hose and a wireless fm transmitter
