Ordered a set of wheels from them at the end of May... May 29th to be exact. I've recurved an email shortly after that it was processed. Wheels said they work be here no later than 3 weeks but my shipping date keeps changing now it says July 24th & August 7th... I've heard this website to be a scam but never believed it but if I lose $2800 worth of wheels they won't scam anyone else. I need answers... why are my wheels taking so long? I don't wanna hear any stories about backorder because that should be stated on the site somewhere if it was to be back ordered which it wasn't... then to top all that off I ordered lugs that said would be here June 5th & no sign of them yet... what should I do? Order #******* & #*******

Headlights
June 16, 2020

I've been waiting for my headlights going on two weeks now. First package they sent, I thought it was a joke. Arrived with stickers and markers. Not my $175 headlights. Got a hold of customer service and they asked if they didn't fit and if I could install them Finally got them to look at the email I sent, and even the woman on the phone laughed a bit and said sorry. She was really nice. They replaced' my headlights. Fast forward to yesterday, when they sent the wrong style of headlights. If they weren't so expensive and I didn't need them in my van it would've been different, but man this sucks.:(

Can't get through to customer service now.

I ordered a fuel line set i came in folded up a box. Also all the lines were cracked. I waited online for almost a hour with no answer. So i feel like i waisted almost 200$ ON 1 dollar worh of scrap

Stay a million miles from these people. Online and otherwise. Customer Service is a nightmare. I bought a dashboard cover from them online. It came rolled unprotected in a box. Shoddy workmanship, falling apart (shedding terribly) suede wrinkled permanently, etc. I called Customer service and found out my purchase was turned over to a third party business (this was not made clear at time of purchase online). Customer service was not only bordering on rude and unhelpful, but they sent me an email demanding a list of photos before they would even consider a refund over 72 hours.
1. Box item came in (inside and out). 2. Photos of item (shedding and permanent wrinkles). 3. VIN number of my vehicle (what this was for I have no idea). 4. Purchase order/Packing slip. 5. Part number on item.
By the time I was taking photos and sending info. I was more than angry. My purchase+shipping+tax was well over $80.00. I wasn't about to let them off the hook no matter how many hoops they made me jump through. Got a return PP Return Label finally emailed to me, but was warned severely that item should be returned in New condition. Are you kidding me? I was a first time customer. Do you think I will ever be a second? What a horrible company!

I decided to put new seats in my salt water fishing boat. Couldnt find the seats I was looking for but was relieved when I found them on CarID's website. Placed my order and everything appeared great. When I received the confirmation email that my seats had shipped I had the tracking number. I then tracked the deli ery of these seats and they showed as delivered. When I went to get the boxes, there was only one. Evidently UPS only delivered one of my seats. Now I am concerned as I have a trip planned to ise my boat and dont know if I will have my seats ready in time. I call CarID and they tell me that the other seat was shipped back to CArID's warehouse. Why I dont know. They then put a new order through to ship me that seat. When I finally received the new seat (about one week later) it was damaged. Now I am really frustrated. I called the company customer service to tell them what happened and they inform me they will put a new order through and UPS will come and pick the damaged seat up. I asked if they would rush the shipment and they said NO. They also said that they would put a hold on my card even though it was their issue. Then two days later I get an email asking for my card info. I tried to give them my card online of which I couldnt. Then I tried to call their customer service number and was told they were too busy and I could put myself in line. Never received a call and my order still hasnt been placed. It is frustrating beyond anything. I hope my seat will come in before I have to leave. We shall see. Their customer service people Re not the most friendly and dont take ownership for their issue.

I purchased 2 items on june 6,2020. Items in stock are to ship immediately, however due to coronavirus items may be delayed. Ok I get that, we started out with an address issue. Did the change of address 1-2 day return time, ok no problem. After a few days I get an email with tracking of 1 of 2 items. Again items in stock ship immediately, today Friday June 12,2020 I received an email late in the afternoon. Carid claims their system made a mistake and in order to proceed I owe an additional $106.00. How on earth their system makes a glitch and or mistake and that somehow is my fault and or problem is beyond me. I called to ask the additional money be charged as the rest through credit so I can proceed, wait wait wait... Sir we can only do credit for $500+, uhh I just spent $971.00 and you say what? These people and this company made their system failure my fault and or problem. They should have agreed to make it right one way or another and failed massively. BUYER BEWARE, EVEN IF ITS THEIR MISTAKE YOU WILL SUFFER. I canceled the entire order because their lack of support and assistance in correcting their own mistakes. The email offers no correction other then me paying more money. Every chance I get I will write a bad review and continue to discredit your company to any and all. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PUBLIC RELATIONS. It even has the fee online as being free, rough country ships free after you spend so much. Lies nothing but pure lies! Update 6-17-2020 I got a email stating the shipping was free so I was only refunded the price of the bumper. Had the shipping been free we wouldnt be here now, again lies and horrible business practice. They dont even know the facts but are trying to tell me what I do and dont know. Bad company!

I previously ordered some speakers from them and had no issues. Then I order a subwoofer a week later. I get a call 3 days later saying there is an issue with my billing address. I tell the lady that it took them 3 days to call me about the issue. Not only it took them 3 days to contact me but they kept charging my card 1$ X 3. I tell them to cancel my order which they did then they charge me 1.49$ to my account. I call to ask why and they tell me cause it was there system charging my card that it would be reversed. I asked why did they charge my card after I canceled my order. She just kept repeating the same non sense. The last time I will deal with those POS!

Blatantly Terrible

I don't normally write reviews for companies but this has got to be the worst website to buy from, please go elsewhere to save yourself a headache. After spending 2k with them and a month later, I have not received any of my order and have called multiple times waiting on hold for hours getting transferred to different departments just to find out they never even cancelled the order. They also sent me an email a week after I ordered, saying my order was on hold and I had to pay an extra 100 for shipping... How is this company in business.

Right after I did my review, I received a message On this website from CARiD asking what can they do to help! Well, I replied with the same information I've been providing to them all a long on trying to return my unopened purchase and Just like all the attempts they still have not provided a return label or RMA authorization!
This company has stolen my money and refuses to help with a very simple return of a small item! So much for standing behind their return policy!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!

I purchased a product that wasn't represented correctly in the picture displayed on the website and have be authorized a full return BUT CarID will NOT provide me with the correct paperwork to complete the return. They have NOT provide me with an RMA code nor the shipping label. I've gone round and round with them trying to return the product, but all they ever do is offer up a $15 coupon to keep the part! Why would I keep a part I DO NOT NEED!

I've tried calling several times and have only once connected to someone after holding for over 25 minutes. As I'm writing this review right now, I've been on hold waiting for someone to answer after 40 minutes right now!

BUYER BEWARE - CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A COMPLETE FAILURE! I CAN NOT AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PURCHASE FROM CarID EVER!

The process has been a MONTh long and I still have not received my correct set of wheels had I not liked the wheels I would have asked for a refund but I actually like the wheels. The incorrect set I sent back has been there for 6 days and I still have not been informed of when my wheels will be sent to me. I'm extremely frustrated with this company and disappointed and don't recommend them to anybody.

One of the worst experiences I ever had on the internet.
I ordered a retaining clip online for my 56 Cadillac window switch. Their photo of the part online was the part exactly the part I needed. They sent me a completely different part, not even close to the photo.
I thought, Simply mistake, right. After waiting on hold for over an hour I finally talked to someone, out of the country, and told them the error.
They told me, "Sorry the part is nonrefundable." I said excuse me?
"This was not my mistake, your photo of the part online is incorrect"' I said. Nope! They didn't care. I asked to speak to a supervisory (pulled a Karen) and it only got worst. She started getting nasty! Needless to say, I will NEVER BUY ANTHING from the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with!

So an Item that typically sells in pairs is listed at $90. So you think that's for the pair. No - it's EACH. But no one ever needs one, everybody orders two, so it's $180 - so you click on it for twice what you expected to spend. That's when you see that the item(s) pictured don't necessarily fit your car. So they ask you to enter your car. You do. Well, the $90 each item, the $180 pair, does NOT fit your car - but THIS ONE does - and it's only $190. So just as you think it's only $10 more - you find out that that this price is "EACH" also, making the pair $380. BUT that's not all there's a $50 "CORE CHARGE" - meaning you have to send the original item you're replacing to them within 30 days or they keep the $50 core charge. So you figure the pair at $380 + the $50 core charge is $430. But you'd be wrong again. That's a $50 core charge for EACH, so it's $480 plus tax and shipping so it's over $500 for the item you thought you were buying for $90. So you'd have to sell your $500 car so you could afford the $500 parts. But then you wouldn't need them because you'd have no car. And you'd have no need to do business with such a deceptive outfit. I DID read the fine print and did NOT order the part from CarID. I went to an honest company and got the product at a fraction of the price. CarID says they were not deceptive because though the "Item" was advertised at "$90" in the listing (In BIG BOLD print) after you go through page after page of fine print and subsequent revelations reflecting the utter FICTION of the $90 BANNER HEADLINE, you have wasted 20 minutes of your time to discover their gross misrepresentations. Unscrupulous, deceptive, thuggish customer service and the vast majority of reviews condemn this shady and barely legal business.

I ordered a set of black rhino wheels for my truck the other day. I ordered the wrong offset and want to cancel my order. It hasn't shipped yet and I was on a call with customer service for 30 minutes left on hold. I then tried the chat and kept saying they would transfer me to a wheel and tire specialist. However I never spoke to a wheel or tire specialist. I just want to cancel my order and I can't. This is very frustrating.

9th of May 2020, I ordered set of wheels and rims over 2K. Estimated shipping date was 22nd of May. In that date they e-mailed me and stated that shipping is going to delay due to pandemic for 24-48 hours. I understood that delay because of pandemic and I did not get disappointed. However, after 4 days I spoke with customer support about my order because 48 hours was passed already. Young lady tried to argue with me all the time during our conversation. In fact, I gave up arguing with her and hang up the phone. After, she sent me e-mail stating my order is ready for shipping and estimate time is 24-72 hours. I said one more time OK. Honestly, I spoke 3 or 4 representatives and all of them very like to argue. I think they forget that CUSTOMER ALWAYS RIGHT instead of arguing. Even I spoke with supervisor but it did not help. She also said wait 24-48 hours at the end of the May month. Today is 8th of June and I STILL DID NOT GET MY ORDER.
WHAT A JOKE COMPANY.
I HOPE MY REVIEW WILL HELP FOR THE FUTURE BUYERS. STAY AWAY OF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND HEALTH. GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THEM IS NOT WORTH IT.

COMPANY IS A JOKE

This joke of a company will send you the wrong items and lie if they do not have items you need. You will end up wasting time trying to get CARid to take their items back and issue you a refund for money paid. They get away with credit card payment because they are online and you will regret you gave them a try waiting to return items for shipping labels you cant get to return items, and no refund.

Ordered a Bumper cover along with a grille. Although when shipped i was provided the same track number for both items, the grille showed up in a timely manner. But the bumper didn't show up. I called and they told me they had to email the vendor to get the proper tracking for the bumper and they would get back to me with it. But they never did. Never the less, the bumper showed up today. But of coarse its damaged! So I immediately took pics of the damage and refused the shipment. Now, I have seen many reviews from other customers who accepted the package but later found out that their item was damaged. But because they accepted and signed for the package, they are out of luck because accepting the delivery means you saying the the item is in good condition. I open my package at the delivery truck with the truck driver standing there with me. After opening the box we both saw the damage to the bumper along with a whole in the box located where the damage to the bumper was. I immediately took pics and refuse the shipment. Called CarID, the lady asked me if I signed the bill of lading. I told her I refused the shipment so I didn't sign anything. She tells me that because i didn't sign the b. O. l stating the item was damaged its nothing she can do. I will have fail a claim with the shipping company. She stated she can not order me a replacement bumper, which is all i wanted. I wasn't asking for my money back. I Contacted the shipping company that Carid used and filed a claim. They tell me its a 30 day process. So i ordered a bumper from another company to take care of my customer. I give them 2 stars because I try to be honest when i write a review. The customer service lady was nice and respectful. But now I have start what is probably going to be a long process of getting my money back from this order.
