They made it right

It took several emails and phone calls but they more than made it right. Im very impressed. They refunded the complete shipping cost and offered me a gift certificate for my time. I did not ask for that I just wanted it to be reasonable. I would be willing to do business with them in the future.

Ordered multiple parts, heater resister, 2 u joints and a center support for an older truck. They sent me the total and it showed me being charged 114.00 to ship the 2 ujoints. I called customer service and told me that the total was correct. That is what it cost to get them shipped. I then got disconnected. Because those items did not show shipped I called the cancellation number and after being on hold for 35 min finally got to speak to someone. She told me that they had already been shipped. I told her the email from earlier that day said they hadn't and actually 1 of the items was on a delay getting to them. She just continued to read from a script and told me it had. I check my fed ex shipping calculator and those items from their location to mine would cost 90 if overnighter, 25 for next day and 12.99 for 5 day. Nowhere near 114.00. I then sent an email to customer service asking them to call me. No response.

I called in to ask about the shipping policy to see if there was a threshold for free shipping as far as price. The person I spoke with wanted me to place my order immediately and he left out critical information about the purchase in terms of the fit. Once I found out I called back and changed 1 piece of merchandise and I'm still waiting for any information on that. Another piece of equipment required the same change but it was too late it had already shipped so I had to modify it on site. The one piece of merchandise that did not have to be changed was defective when I received it and it's a complicated return policy it requires photographs VIN number and numbers from the box. Someone will get back with me between 24 and 72 hours. I have a disabled wife and I needed the running boards for the side of my truck so that she could get in and out. I would never deal with these people again!

Buy elsewhere! Dealing with this company and trying to get what you ordered is a nightmare. Live chat can never tell you anything, they don't respond to emails, and you wait for at least 30 min. Anytime you have to call. Better hope you like what you get, returns are almost impossible. I think they farm out shipping from somewhere else. Takes 24-48 hours to even get an email that tells you what return shipping will be. Items listed on their website as in stock never come, so when you call it's "oh sorry that's out of stock"? Would never do business with them again!

I ordered Running boards for my Gladiator. Go Rino d1 came with wrong directions. As there where bolts not even listed on the directions that where needed in a certain area. Barely longer than the rest. Found out the hard way. Too top it off only comes with 3 brackets when its clearly made for 4. The Gladiator has a spot for 4 brackets. With only 3 it looks shifty and is not a safe stepping board! In the photo below notice the two holes that are meant to have the 4th bracket! Bracket! One photo shows underneath wear the brackets are supposed to go if it where properly provided! After waiting 40 minutes on hold while some creep cracks corny jokes I was told that policy says you can't return after installation. However they don't provide all the hardware to do so! I will never buy from Car Id again. I was looking at some wheels and tires. So over a 5 dollar brackets I'm out 600 dollars!

I called and ordered running boards for my 2017 Ram 2500 and the ones we liked we also had to order the mounting brackets separate the guy I talked to asked me several times what vehicle I had and I told him. When we received the brackets they were for a 2020 Silverado we don't own a Chevy and why the hell would we order running boards for a Ram and get mounting brackets for a Chevy and no they are not universal like the customer service lady said. Also no bolts were included with the running boards we had to contact the manufacturer for them. I was on the phone for over three hours with customer service. The first call I was placed on hold while their website was loading and was stuck listening to the stupid fact guy for over an hour. Come on it doesn't take that long to load your page I was hung up on after they came back on and called again where I was on hold for another 40 minutes. And when I requested to talk to a supervisor I was told it would be two to four days for a call back. Rather than send me the right product they wanted me to buy A different set of running boards that didn't require separate mounting brackets first before the refunded my money and would send a shipping label for their product to be returned. They acted like we were to blame but how when we called the order in. Why should I have to buy new running boards I already have them. Then it came down to us having to buy a new set of brackets before the would send a return label and a refund. It's bad business and I would never recommend this place to anyone ever. We will be reporting to the BBB and I suggest you all do the same.

I purchased these wheels on 6/18/20 on 6/23/20 I received an email the the estimate shipped Thursday 07/02/2020.
I called several time before during this this trying to get a status. They told me UPS lost one of the item. That not my problem that carid issue to figure out. One 7/20/20 got another the that the estimated shipped date 7/22/20. You guys can not get to the bottom of the issue and get it corrected. I even spoke with a manager. Still haven? T call me back. Not to mention every time I call there is at least an hour until I speak to someone.
It? S been over a month since I place the order and was told i will get it in two weeks. Clearly that not the case. At this point I need a full refund and I will go somewhere else. Totally unacceptable. The customer service and communication is very poor. Very disappointed been a customer since 2016.

Today been almost two months since I placed the order and still no wheels. I called the this morning the girl she will send a email for an update really. I said to speak to the manager she told me he's busy. What kind of business you running?
This is totally unacceptable and very poor customer service.

I should have made my purchase at custom offset.

Don't do it.

If you plan on buying wheels and tires. Don't do it if you want them in a timely matter. I ordered mine 3 weeks ago! 3 weeks! When I first saw the wheels on the iron website they said, ships in 2-3 days. I then purchased them along with new tires. Well after the transaction had been complete I look at the confirmation which said"expected delivery date Aug 3rd. This was on July 13th. Well I contact them on the 1st to get some kind of assurance that I would be getting my stuff that I paid over 1300 bucks for when they said I would. Well they answer me after a few days which is after the "expected shipping date, and tell me that they havent even got them yet and when they receive them the still had to mount and balance them! Give me a break I've ordered stuff from China and got it sooner than these clowns can produce. Never again will I shop here.

This place sucks
August 4, 2020

I bought a tire and wheel package from this place in June of 2020. The website wouldn't let me check out without buying the TPMS for the tires so I added them to my cart. I didn't get the tires and wheels for about a month and had called them in that time. I was told that the wheels were being made and to be patient, as soon as they got them, they would ship them to me. When I finally received them, I went to get the TPMS programmed to my car and they don't work. I have gone to 5 different places and they still aren't programmed so I called CARid again today, only to set on hold for 30 plus minutes, and they told me there was nothing they could do for me with documentation. The tire shops didn't charge me because they couldn't get them programmed. My suggestion to anyone wanting to buy a tire and wheel package is to go to your local tire shop and get them there because this place sucks.

I purchased 2 products for a New 2920 Silverado. Both products do not fit my truck. I received one when it did not fit. I told them to cancel the other. Of course they did not. So not I was forced to pay for shipping and now stuck with a product that make my brand new truck look cheep. They will not respond and will not back up their cheep made products.

When I placed my order 10 days ago I was told that there were 2 in stock. 10 days later I received a call telling me that they can't ship my order until a month later. What happened? They are a bunch of garbage! They knew that they were not being honest from the beginning! This place is absolutely TERRIBLE and I hate them!

I purchased a set of brake pads and rotors on July 17th. THEY TOLD ME THAT I WOULD GET A TRACKING NUMBER AND IT WOULD BE READY TO SHIP OUT BY JULY 31st! SO I WAITED I CALLED THEM ON JULY 31st WHEN I HAVENT RECEIVED A TRACKING NUMBER THEY TOLD ME THAT THE PACKAGE WOULD COME ON THE 3RD OF AUGUST SO I SAID OKAY AND I WAITED TO FIND OUT THEY LIED TO ME TOO BY THEM SELFS SOME MORE TIME SO THEY CONTINUED TO LIE TO ME UNTIL I FLIPPED OUT ON THEM! THEN THE LADY OVER THE PHONE TELLS ME MY PACKAGE WILL BE THERE TOMORROW ON THE 4th. IF THATS OKAY IF I COULD WAIT ONE MORE DAY! I TOLD HER THAT I CANT KEEP WAITING EITHER TELL ME A EXACT DATE OR GIVE ME A REFUND AND SHE PUT ME ON HOLD FOR 30 MINS TO TELL ME THAT THEY TOOK MY PACKAGE AND GAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE AND THAT I HAVE TO WAIT 2 MONTHS FOR THEM TO RE MAKE MY ROTORS AND BRAKES AND THEN THEY SHIP IT OUT! THAT UNBELIEVABLE I ASKED TO SPEAKER TO CORPORATE OR THE MANAGE SO I CAN GET A REFUND AND THEN SHE LEFT ME ON HOLD FOR A HOLE HOUR THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE! MEVER BUYING ANYTHING FOR THEM AGAIN! I have made many purchases thru the years, but when it came time to return and get refund well that a whole different story. There Sister company ONYX are the ones that handle it. I had to fight for RMA. Can not return with out one. Then the refund is another fight. What ever you buy make sure you do not have to return it. That's my experience

Stay away

I ordered a radiator and was told that it would be shipped within 3 days. A week, after being on hold for 19 minutes and 36 seconds, I was told that I would have to more(on hold as I am writing this) to get a refund. The person I placed the order with had lots of attitude. When on hold, it actually says that " you are in hold to show how much we appreciate you". One of the worst on line companies I have ever dealt with. Stay away. This company has no interest whatsoever in the consumer experience. None.

Ordered a $90 bike rack and was given an estimated delivery of one month. Item did not arrive in time so cancelled the order. After more than a dozen or more calls to customer service and being placed on hold or hung up on, someone finally responded to my request for refund, but still no refund. Today I checked and now it looks like instead of a refund they debited my account again for $90. I've never dealt with a more incompetent business,. Should get O stars, Stay away!

Guaranteed fit my A**

I ordered rims from them and I plugged in my car specs. I wanted 18inch rims. They said from their drop down menu these are the rims we guarantee to fit no matter what basically. Also they said along with buying the rims they will send an installation kit. Fast forward to when i got the rims. They didn't fit! And they were the correct ones sent so i called them and after being on hold for 45 minutes! They said take a pic and send it to us. also they're like we will send u a gift card for your troubles. Why would I want a gift card to purchase more stuff from you guys when my first purchase was so terrible! I want my order partially refunded because now i have to go out and buy extra stuff to try to make the rims work or else i need to return the whole order

I ordered rims and tires around 16 Jun 20 and have yet to recieve them. I called customer service and the acknowledged they are not sure where my order is located. I track them to a location in Orlando to get mount and balanced. Why doesn't the customer service have contact with their stores. It is 1 Aug 20 and yet to review the order which was in stock when the order was placed. If I knew what I knew then I would have found a different vendor.
