Months ago I Ordered Rear Shocks For My 2002 Cadillac Escalade, Of Course I Received The Wrong Shocks, Ok Maybe that was My Fault Because The Shocks I Needed was Electronic AND The Ones I Received was not, I Emailed them asking them to Send me Some Kind of Address And/or Return Label So I can send the Shocks Back for A Refund, THEY then Emailed me Back Asking For The VIN Number, Which as of Today I Still Can't Understand WHY do you need My VIN Number. Ok I Emailed them Back NO RESPONSE, I Have Tried Calling Them Several times but just to be Put on Hold for Almost an Hour, I Emailed them Back again and Demanded a Full Refund Because I Went on and Bought The Shocks From Another Place. NO RESPONSE. Terrible customer service. They broke my order up into 3 parts with no packing slip and bad tracking information. One of the items I ordered was staggered exhaust tips. They sent the wrong item. The exhaust tips they sent weren't staggered. It's been 2 weeks already. Every time i call I've been placed on hold for extended periods of time. The last time i called was an hour and forty seven minutes. Then each time i call they tell me they have to put in a request and that will take 24-72 hours then never respond back. On the last call i now have to wait 1-2 business days for a call back from a manager. Every time i ask for a supervisor, no one is available. Apparently they are training at 830pm at night or taking 2 hour lunches. They claim to be based out of New Jersey but i have yet to speak to an American customer service representative. The customer service told me the exhaust tips are a universal fit. I told her it does fit but it's the wrong part. She told me that's the description on the website and they can't control what they send. "You get what you get, there's nothing I can do for you". Yet they claim to have outstanding customer service but at this point i don't even want to do business them and will never do so again. All i want is a refund and they can't even do that. I had to file a dispute with my card company and I'll be filing a complaint with the federal trade commission. This is unacceptable.

Honestly I've never written a review about a business before. This business has the worst customer service I've ever experienced with any business online all of their advertisements are a joke every time you click on a car part that you want 90% of the time it is unavailable and when you call and ask be careful you might get someone that calls you back just to fight with you over the phone because they don't have the parts that you're looking for all of it is falsethey put up these awesome pictures of what your car could look like if you buy these parts only thing is they don't actually have these parts ever I hope everybody else that goes to this website we'll come out here and write another review in fact I'm going to write a $#*!y review every $#*!in day until the owner of this company contacts me to explain why their company is such a joke $#*!in hate false advertisement and that's what this entire website is they probably make money just from people clicking on it that's why they false advertise everything it's a waste of time people don't spend your hard-earned money here

I ordered a couple parts but when I got my email invoice it read "Freight cost to be determined" I was lead to believe shipping was $99. That was for the smaller of the two items. They would tack on additional freight at their discretion without my prior approval. I contacted them, but they said they could not give me a freight quote but would add it in at time of shipping. RED FLAG! I might as well have handed them a signed blank check. I requested a order cancellation, and full refund. They replied that they would review my request, and IF they decided to, they would refund me my money. The refund process would take 24 to 48 hours. It has been 48 hours, and still no refund. When I contacted them again they said it would take 24 to 48 MORE hours to process my refund should they decide to approve it. No refund, just excuses. I feel this outfit is screwing disabled, unemployed senior citizens like myself out of what little hard-earned money they have..

I ordered a tire and rims package. When I put the tires and rims on my vehicle. It shook tremendously. I immediately brought them in to get balanced. They still made my vehicle shake at speeds of 30-50mph. I called them to let them know I was having trouble with my purchase. They told me they can not do nothing except I need to get more testing done at my expense. I got them forced matched and road forced tested. Drove my vehicle again to only be let down with the shaking. I don't know what's worse. They won't honor any warranty and they basically sold me rims that were so out of round that they cannot be fixed with any amount of tricks of the tire trade. Discount tire manager said the rims were out of round to the point where they are junk. So far Carid has failed to help with any of the testing fees I've paid in addition to the tire package I purchased from them. Take it from me and invest your money where you will be taken care of righteously. Thanks for reading.

They are selling products that. Even their help line can't even tell you if the parts exists. They do not stock these parts they rely on the manufacturer to stock the part. And they can't even tell you whether or not they even have it in stock then they charge you for shipping even though it could be up to 10 days or more before they eben get confirmation your order has been shipped.

Do not buy anything from this company. I ordered a trunk bed liner and tailgate liner from this company. The shipping was $99. The liners arrived with zero packaging at all and paperwork such as an invoice. The freight shipper just dropped it off in my driveway. The bed liner was good and I installed it in my truck but the tailgate liner was much to small. I have been trying to get wrong part returned and replaced since mid July. I have sent five communications to them and they have given promises of replacement but no action. They are awful to work with and they do not do what they say they will. I believe they are no intention to correct the problem.

First ever order from CarID was a set of 4 wheels. Purchased a set on August 3rd. 4 weeks go by and no shipped wheels. Tried talking to customer service and they just kept saying that they can't get the manufacturer on the phone. I asked to buy another more expensive set instead, which they gladly took more of my money. The ship the wheels and only 3 are delivered. It turns out they made an error in the shipping address. The 4th wheel just bouncing around the east coast. I tried calling UPS to correct the address but CarID would them call in and change it to something else. I caught them in several lies with me on the phone. Now the wheel is sitting in KY on hold requested by CarID. I had to file a fraud claim with my credit card to get my money back.

$2000 order for a retractable tonneau cover that accommodates racks; they send the wrong product and tell me it will take 30 days to exchange for the correct parts. I ordered a bull bar for my truck that said it would be shipped out in 2-3 business days. I waited 7 business days then called the company and they said they didn't know what was wrong. Called again 1 week later and they said they got in contact with the manufacturer and it would be shipped in 2-3 business days. Again it was a lie. I finally gave up and put a cancellation on my order with expectations of a full refund. The cancellation said it would take 1-2 business days and I would get a refund from there. It has now been almost a week and a half! I'm done with this company don't give them your money so they can steal it when you realize they lied about shipping time. I fully understand everyone is under harsh times from Covid but this is getting ridiculous.

The plastic is to thick on the ends of the vents no 3m tape to hold the ends. Window getting stuck when you roll up. Looking out of the vents all distort ed. Thats what you get when you look for the least expensive. Rubbish should have bought Lund quality is better but cost more. Dont buy but it's up to you. Throwing mine in the trash.

I purchased window ventshades for my new car, from CARiD, in early July. They did not fit and I requested a RMA number for returning the shades. First, they want a written explanation of why they did not fit. Then they want photographs of the fit area with a explanation of the problem. Then they said I would get an RMA,(return material authorization) in 24 hours. Days later, no RMA. I called again and waiting time on the phone was 1 hour and talked with a woman rep. That said they did not have the 'did not fit' explanation nor the photos.
I did get an Email that a new set of vent shades were to be shipped to me, exactly as the ones that did not fit in the first order. That's when I started chatting with CARiD. I told them to stop the ventshade package as they would not fit... same as the first ones. The chatter was curt and rude telling me maybe he could stop it... maybe not.
It is now almost the middle of September and every few days chat it's wait 24 to 48 hours for a refund.
No refund to date. CARiD does not want to refund my money for parts that do not fit.

I canceled my order to buy bull guard for my car. Amazon offered free delivery while CARID was charging me $40. I posted my return request to CARID on the same day. Ten days several emails phone calls and promisses I still do not have my money back. Each tyme Customer Service asks for more days to contact their own accounting. Today they told me my order was never processed in the first place yet they hold to my payment. I may never get any refund. Horible customer service attitude! I purchased a Duraflex GT 500 Style…Hood
I purchased a Duraflex GT 500 Style hood from CAR ID. Absolute piece of garbage. Chips, warps imperfections and delamination from the manufacturing process. Not one straight line. My body shop refused to install it on my vehicle. Trying to return this product has been a nightmare. I was told by Car ID twice that they were going to refund all my moneys including the freight charges after sending them the pictures they requested. Well it never happened. Nothing but double, triple and quadruple talk with no results. I would not recommend this product or Car ID to my worst enemy. There customer service is the worst that I have ever experienced!

We want all consumers to know that there will always be minor sanding, shaving, cutting, and/or filling prior to installing Extreme Dimensions parts. Also, the black primer finish must be sanded and other prep work will be required prior to painting. It is recommended that the part be installed by a professional body shop that has experience working with aftermarket fiberglass and urethane body kits including but not limited to sanding, shaving, cutting and filling.

I purchased a custom hood for my car and when it arrived it was clearly the wrong part. After and unbelievable amount of emails and 5 hours of hold time I was told that the $420 part could be returned at my expense with refund for purchase price only. This meant I would lose the $170 shipping cost from them and the $150 + in return shipping costs. Getting roughly 100 back for something i never used, or could use. On top of that after all of my interaction with the company they modified the site so that part would no longer come up in the search for my vehicle, telling me it was all my fault and they could not help me out in any way. So if you chose to purchase from this site, buyer beware that you get exactly the right part or you are screwed...

I placed an order on August 28th and here it is September 9th and I still dont have my order... it was sent to the wrong address, and it wasn't my fault!
