Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.

Should be an initial option for disability care bc I'm neither a child nor a senior. Thankfully, the user-friendliness of the site got me past that discouragement when I found later it included younger age groups.

I was surprised with the high membership rate when I tried to respond to possible caregivers. That wasn't cool.

Also, I had to create a new email address just to be able to register as someone looking for care. I had been offering care YEARS ago and couldn't switch over. That's ridiculous!

You sent me a coupon code when I registered for 10% off my "upgrade". When I applied, it said it was an invalid code. There are so many extras to pay for. We only need 4 days of service for respite care--so far 44.00 just to see if anyone is available.

Not sure what I get for the upgrade. Just charge a fee. The upgrade screen popped up as I tried to send a message. A bit hard to navigate. Also, there is nobdy to speak to…. Crazy Am still not sure how this works. Pay the contractor direct or pay Care.com. You give a range; am I supposed to negotiate with the care giver. Not a good process. I signed up for membership at $240.00 per year. I cannot afford this cost so I must cancel. Also I just received an email giving me a generous discount. I only need someone to clip my cat's nails and brush her as I have a difficult time taking her out. But I am sorry I cannot afford the price. So I will be cancelling.

Care.com states that it has prescreened providers however After you pay to join you have No access to any of that info. Additionally the caregivers no longer have access to their own Caregiver screening so you are forced to Buy a $69 background check, if you care to k ow who will be taking care of your loved one. After you pay $69 you are informed it will be 3-10 days before you get a report. I have waited a week and heard nothing.
Awful lack of customer care and absurdly impractical. Of course you can't cancel the $69- report even 5 minutes after you pay for it as it is "already being processed".
Sham less rip off!
