I've had one successful order with them. Attempted 3. The first order was fine. I got the card right away. 2nd order was instantly cancelled with no explanation. 3rd order, a $20 Target gc, has been "under review" for hours now. This website is a huge hassle to deal with. I'm done.
I used CardCash few times so far. In my last purchase I bought a $300 REI gift card which turned out to have $0 balance. Once I notified CardCash about the situation, they started inquiry; however, they failed to return my purchase amount. Eventually, I filed a dispute with my credit card company and got my money back. I can understand that such problems may happen in a 3rd party gift card exchange, but how a company handles the situation matter me the most. I will no longer use Card Cash in future, as my experience proved they are not reliable when things go south.
Purchased 4 gift cards totaling $350. One gift card for $100 was not valid, now waiting to see if I can get my money back for the one that didnt work...
I've never used them to buy cards, so I have no idea about that end of their business, but trying to sell cards isn't very well organized. At the beginning they bought a few of my cards without any issues, but after that they kept denying my cards, even though the balances were there. I would be fine with this if I could get a straight answer on why, but all I got was the run around from Customer Service and was told to just relist. I said, what sense does that make when all your company will just reject them and my time is wasted... which is what happened. At least they didn't internally steal my card information and spend the gift cards unlike Raise.com... so I give them props for that at least.
Its a useless and pathetic place to buy your gift cards. Their system abruptly treats you like a fraudster buying gift cards and will reject the order as soon as it is being bought without any valid reason.
I regret even signing up for this thing at the first place.
Cardcash is a great place to sell your unused gift cards. I like the fact that you can trade them for other giftcards to places I wanna shop.
They took my 50.00 out of my gift card for outback, they where supposed to deposit money in my bank. I sent the card to them like they asked. They stole 50.00. Never never use this sight, WARNING
Received a gift card for a restuarant that is too far away for me to go to. I was nervous about using one of these services and expected to lose out. I filled out the info online, mailed it on a Tuesday, and by Friday the money for the gift card was in my paypal account! Thanks for a great service!
I was able to sell gift cards I knew I would never use and it was a quick and easy process. I recommend.
Quick attention and excellent service, I received my card in the promised time. If I had another gift card, I would use your services again
When it comes to changing gift cards for cash or another gift card they are awesome. They give up to 90% cashback which is great compared to the other websites that I checked out.
It is very easy to do business with CardCash. It was a simple process to check the amount you can receive then to provide them with the information they need... payment was prompt!
I don't know why I waited so long to try out this type of service. It just makes sense and my experience with Cash Card has been smooth sailing. I got cash quickly when I sold a card I had in my wallet for over a year and I just bought my first card with a 12% discount! I love already knowing I'm saving money before I even walk in the door!
I bought several giftcards. 2 of them have $0. I contacted them within the 45 days and it's been 2 weeks of back and forth "still researching". I am disputing the charge on my credit card.
This was the first time that i have used this company and the process was very quick. Sent in the GC and within 3 days was paid. Will use again!
I dont like that I have to mail out my gift cards. There is no way for me to see the staus unless I pay extra for tracking. Card pool takes the cards electronically making payout much faster. But at least cardcash is still taking apple giftcards
Good concept but with flaws. Would not allow gift card transfer due to wrong address on file with credit card company. Untrue My card approved all transactions that were tried for approval. If the address was incorrect then they would have denied the transactions. Customer service is slow and they do not address your issue and are dismissive.
I was very pleased with my Card Cash experience. They offered me the most money for my cards compared to other sites. The process was very smooth and I had my money within a very short time.
I used CardCash.com to sell my gift cards because Paypal recommended it, and if Paypal says it's a go, it's a go for me! I submitted my unwanted gift cards (Target, Bath and Body Works,& Ulta) 12/26/19, and got my $ in my PayPal account the very next day. I got the whole agreed upon amount (no fees from Paypal as it should be). It's been a hassle-free transaction so far and I definitely recommend CardCash for selling (can't say anything for buying because I haven't purchased from them yet).
I unfortunately had to use another site (cardpool.com) to sell an unwanted gift card that was not on the list of gift cards cardcash accepts (See's Candies), and I'm still waiting on it (it's now been 2 weeks of "in review" status).
I also used ejgiftcards.com (big mistake, not recommended). Took 2 weeks, and then on top of it, the way they paypal-ed the money, a Paypal transaction fee was taken out from the amount sent to me.
I was so happy I found this site. I received a gift card I would never use and traded it for a card that I actually would. Got about 92% of the amount. That was amazing to me!
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email [email protected] so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
