3 out of 4 gift cards were fraudulent and card cash would not reimburse. Stay away and NEVER even consider buying from them. They do not hold up to their claims and I am out A LOT of money.
I made the mistake of doing business with these folks and bought four cards. The very first time I used one it was refused. Do not let this happen to you. ---from Harry
Horrible experience with this company. Government should punish this company for selling gift cards was previously purchased by fake gift cards. I bought two cards and both were fraud gift card.
Buying gift cards has never been easier! The physical cards arrive in about 1 week and the e-cards come within 1 day! You save money and there's no hassle of going to a store to pick something out. Love it!
I have only had one issues with cardcash and they were great at solving it quickly and to my satisfaction! I recommend everyone to their site to save money! Cardcash is the only way I buy gift cards! Thanks for having a great site!
For the most part it works pretty good. I ordered one type of card and received the wrong card. I called to correct the issue and they were supposed to send me a return envelope, but did not send it to me. I had to call again to request it. I have bought a couple times before and all but one other time was okay (card was inactive). Just check you card when you get it. The deal is good though.
Terrible customer service and even worse reliability.
I usually purchase gift cards on here weekly and very seldom do I have a problem. The 3-4 times I have (over a 2 year period) Cardcash has always taken care of the issue.
Good discounts but site crashed several times while ordering and then unable to obtain cards.
You cancel too many of my purchases for no good reason when the cards are still available.
After buying hundreds of dollars worth of cards from cardcash I had one that was bogus at a cost of 125.00$. Cardcash refuses to refund my money so I'm juse out 125 bucks and the customer service has been horrible and rude. I'm going to try and dispute it with my CC company but who knows. Never will use this POS company again.
I have brought hundreds of dollars of gift-cards from CardCash. When they work they are great, but when they don't work it is a hassle because you look stupid, and you got to pay using something else. However, customer service is great and I usually have no problem getting a refund.
Same story as eveone else on here. I bought $100 gift card from Applebees, went to use it beyond their 45 day guarantee, and was told at the restaurant it was an "ineffective" card. CardCash won't refund my purchase. Phooey on this and them. While the 45 day guarantee must be on their website when you buy, though I don't specifically remember it, it really should be clearer, and say something like... you're gambling with your money; if you buy this, it may or may not be good in 45 days, so use it within that time period. If I buy an appliance and it comes with a guarantee, the manufacturer isn't telling me that I must use the appliance only within the guarantee period. That is kind of what happens here.
This is a horrible company do not use them... I tried to sell them a perfectly brand new 15.00 gift card with whole balance on it. They were going to send me a 10.00 check for it they checked it out and then rejected it for no reason... do not use them!
Card Cash sold me a stolen giftcard. Panera deactivated it after I used it one time. Fortunately, my credit card refunded me the money I paid to cardcash after cardcash did not respond to my request to this issue.
You have the same level of purchase protection and deal buying gift cards from a homeless person as you do from CardCash. Purchased 3 gift cards and two of them had $0 balances. Card cash would not even work with me because it was outside of their 45-day period. Other gift card websites have my better protection.
I bought about $2000 worth of cards. Had a few that worked. Recently went to use another and no balance. Then found another card did not work. Checked the balance of all of the cards and numbers purchased. Over $1000 worth of cards had no balance. Found one card had several uses by someone else until just a couple of weeks ago. Contacted the company thinking there would be no issues for getting my money back. They said since it was after 45 days there is nothing they can do. So you could buy a card now. Not use it for 45 days and find there is no balance and they will not help you. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. FAIR WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. If only I had done some research and read a review like mine before I would not be out $1000.
My first order with CardCash has been a disaster and will be my last. I was drawn by discounts steeper than Raise, who I have used several times without issue. The two cards purchased were Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. The Starbucks card was dead on arrival. It took me several emails over three weeks to get that purchase amount refunded. The Dunkin Donuts card seemed to be working fine until this past weekend when someone started using the actual card (I was sent the card # and pin #) in a store in NY - accessing not only that amount but also the amount I had merged onto the card. $58 later (someone OD'ed on Donuts and coffee) and CardCash will not attempt to research this. Don't be drawn in by their steeply discounted cards. There is, in my opinion, a much higher risk of fraud here with no support from CardCash on the backside
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email [email protected] so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
