I don't think this company has enough inventory to support their catalog. I love the clothing but the wait time is beyond ridiculous. If you have 6 weeks or longer to wait then by all means proceed. This has happened on more then one occasion. I definitely will no longer purchase from this company.

Placed an order in January for a $89 men's button down shirt. After multiple emails with apologies that the shirt would be delayed, and assurances that it was so worth the wait, I received the shirt at the end of April. What appeared to be a denim shirt was a denim-looking button down t-shirt with collar. Cheap buttons, poor stitching, and artificially distressed to the point I was afraid to wash it. Looked nothing like the photo online. This company uses fancy, misleading, single image, photo-shoot techniques to help make their clothing look way more interesting than it is (this wasn't my first experience with their clothing). It's overpriced, and you'll pay your own shipping to return items you're not happy with. Just look at Carbon2Cobalt items on used clothing sites like "Poshmark" and you'll see what they really sell. Find a more honest and customer friendly online vendor.

Looks like the bad reviews were from 2019-2020 range. I have had a much different experience with them since I've begun ordering from Nov 2021 through feb 2022 (for a time frame reference). I'm guessing they've improved as I've made 8-10 orders in that time frame and have received every one of my orders in a timely manner. A couple items I returned because one was the wrong product and the other didn't fit true to size. If I had a compliant, it's that they take a long time to process returns but they have always done it. Regarding quality I have been very happy with quality vs cost. A couple items I haven't been as happy with the material as what I thought it was in the picture, however that's the disadvantage of not having a brick and mortar store. Regardless they accept the product back (this part just requires patience). Overall they are worth the purchase at this point as I'd say 95% of the products I've been satisfied. If the reviews scare you then order from them in small increments.

I ordered a leather jacket, looks nice in the pics. $599.00 It got put on backorder and then I found it on two other websites for $79.00. They do not make the clothing, it comes from China.

I have bought quite a few shirts from Carbon to Colbalt, while they are not the quality of Filson, they are not as expensive either. I have had no issues and enjoy the clothing I have purchased.

They take over 30 days for a refund. Meanwhile they're using your money. Sent return on Jan 5 as if Feb 4 still no refund.

Ordered the womens plein air white shirt. It is not white but a gray white. As if you've worn it and washed it several times for the past 3 years. I wear Medium in almost all brands. This shirt had an unattractive tightness across the top.

I placed an order at the end of November, got 2 of the items but one was on backorder. After numerous calls and multiple billings to my credit card, they said the other item would be shipped. After waiting 2 more weeks, they said they would they item was shipped, but when I called back they said it was lost in the mail and they would just refund me. Don't waste your time. Order somewhere else.

We have ordered gifts a few times from Carbon2Cobalt and been very satisfied. We particularly like the comparative uniqueness of their items. People who have received these items as gifts report good fits and no issues with quality.
We did experience a delay in shipping this Christmas and we were notified, but the item did arrived a few days after Christmas. I wasn't surprised at the delay based on the supply chain problem we have all been experiencing in the last half of the year.
I plan to keep ordering from them. I have certainly had worse experiences with other more high profile vendors! I would gladly provide proof of purchase but since I'm not in the habit of saving receipts for items I am not returning and I don't take pictures of the gifts I give... you'll just need to trust me!

Quality 8/10. Almost all items made in China
Size runs large but I like that
Charges reduced return shipping
FYI same company as 32 Bar Blues
Very pricey
A lot of their clothing requires special attention for washing instructions
Customer service is no help and takes forever to get them.
I'd give them 2.5 but not 3 stars so 2 stars... I very much think they should rethink where their manufacturing is done.

Bought a great looking cable sweater (item #*******) for my son. He's picky but liked the quality of the item, very satisfied. My grandson got a sand colored zippered jacket and also was very happy with it. If I had looked at the reviews first I wouldn't have ordered anything. So I don't get the negative comments. Now I'm going to order something for myself and expect a good result. I will hold off on the cotton/cashmere item until I get the other items and check them out.

Never shipped, no refund

My order never shipped. The tracking number they gave me was not on file at FedEx. I asked them to ship again. Refused. When I asked for a refund, they refused. Took to long to contact them they said. Less than 30 days. Buyer beware.

My wife bought me a $600 leather coat for my birthday and did not save the box and invoice. The coat was too big and I wanted to exchange it for the proper size. We had all the information and C2C promised to send me a return authorization within 24-48 hours. I called after not receiving it every 48 hours I called. Then a supervisor name Jesse Favela said she sent it and even gave dates and times. I looked them up and they were that same general email that is sent that says simply fill out the invoice provided in the box. To this date, I cannot get a supervisor to call or send an R/A. Worst company ever.

FYI…This site and several other customer review sites make money by having the reviewed company pay to have negative reviews removed. With that said,, Carbon2cobal has high quality apparel. My wife bought me a sweater from this site that I like a lot but it's too big. My grievance is having to pay a shipping fee of $8.95 even to exchange for a smaller size.

Terrible Service Recovery

I placed an order. They did not include the Apartment Number on the order. UPS said they could not add the apartment number, only Carbon2Cobalt could do that. I called Carbon2Cobalt and they said there was nothing they could do about it, too bad. The package will just be shipped back to them. The rep would not transfer me to a manager (said they didn't have that capability?). Ridiculous. I will never shop with this company again due to very poor customer service.

Thanks you A**holes. Ordered a shirt three weeks ago and when it didn't arrive I called and they told "oh we canceled that order ". They said it was a security issue with my credit card. They said they called me to let me know there was a problem…. Not

I Would Give ZERO Stars If I Could

Clothes are super cool and comfortable. But expect that 1 out of 5 will be defective. Expect when you send it back, you they will not have a record that you have sent it back. Expect that the item will not be replaced. Expect that you will have to call several times to get things straightened out. Expect that they will not give you a credit. Expect that they'll offer free two-day shipping even if you don't care when it arrives; you only care that it will arrive sometime in the same month. Example: you get a notification (picture attached) that your order has shipped and the notification itself even shows that your item has not shipped. In other words, expect really poor order fulfillment follow-through and you won't be disappointed. One more thing: expect high prices. That's one thing that C2C does follow-through with.

I ordered gifts for my son for Christmas and they shipped the items to his old address after I had said to have them shipped to my home. I called the company and they basically treated and intimated that I was trying to pull a scam. The manager was supposed to call me in 2 days, no call. Surprise surprise the return showed up the next day. We are talking about a $1,000 order. I had already reordered my first order and was calling my credit card company. I asked if some of the returned items could be sent to me now as some are back ordered or discontinued. No we are working on November returns, have no idea where my return would be, the two places orders and returns are in different buildings. Also I could not talk to a manager. I don't know how this place stays in business.
I will never order from them again. I guess people who Place large orders are a dime a dozen to this company.
