Positive feedback highlights the stylish designs and satisfactory product quality, suggesting a strong initial impression. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, with frequent reports of long response times, unresolved issues, and difficulties with returns and refunds. I have bought 3 shirts from Carbon2Cobalt now. One shirt was "clearance" the other two were full price. I like the look, the uniqueness of knowing I won't see the same $#*! on 3 other people at a restaurant or something, but the quality just feels weak to me. The short sleeve button up shirt I bought feels like hard paper. It's not comfortable at all and now just hangs in my closet staring at me. That one was on "clearance" for a resonable price but if it weren't for the pain of returning it by mail, I would have returned it. My second shirt is a white, long sleeve cotton shirt. It looks nice, felt good out of the package but after I washed it PER the washing instructions, it ballooned. It's twice as thick as it was before washing and the shoulders are so snug that I worry it's going to rip the sleeves off at the shoulder seam. And I'm not a weight lifter, I have very average muscle mass or less. A guy would have to have pretty small shoulder muscles to be comfortable in that shirt. So, I hardly wear that one either after spending $98 + shipping. The third shirt was actually a sweater I bought for my dad for Christmas 2024. He liked the look and feel a lot but I haven't heard how he likes wearing it. And now it's summer. I have many clothing items of the Tommy Bahama brand. The price point of the shirts, shorts and pants I have of that brand are pretty close to the price point of Carbon2Cobalt, but the quality and fit are much better for me. No shoulder binding, no significant change after washing and just very comfortable to wear. Now I get C2C catalogues at least once per week, sometimes 2x per week. Each catalogue seems to be just a reorganization of the previous one. Same items listed in a different order. I don't see me buying anything else from this brand. If I can't touch and feel it, I'm not buying clothes, especially higher priced ones. It's just too much of a pain and cost to return things and no matter how good it looks in pictures, it never seems to be what I expected.
If you've ever purchased a hamburger based upon the image of the burger depicted in an advertisement, only to be greatly disappointed in the real burger you get, then stay away from C2C. The real thing is far from the image. Twice (4 years ago and Christmas 2024) have I been drawn in by C2C's splendid depiction of their clothes, only to be frustrated by what I received. Like the fast food hamburgers, the actual garments you get are far inferior to the simulacrum of C2C's clothes depicted in their ad brochure.
Both rear pockets sewn shut on a pair of $69 cozy crew sweatpants. C2C chat agent said that pockets were sewn shut to maintain "integrity" of the item. She suggested that I use a "thread cutter/ripper" to remove the thread line. I told her I had no idea which thread line to remove, and she suggested that I go to a tailor for assistance. She claimed that most online companies sew shut the pockets of their pants. This is just absolutely absurd and untrue for a pair of $69 sweatpants. I think that their factory made an error which wasn't picked up by C2C quality control and they're just trying to weasel out of making necessary adjustments. Instead of giving me a song and dance reply, C2C should cover costs for replacing with a proper item. This is unfortunate since I have bought fleece pants from them before without this sewing error issue. Attached are photos.
I would give them ZERO stars if I could. On 12/11 I ordered my wife pajamas and socks. I was told the pajamas would be delivered on 12/24 and the socks in January. The ship date keeps changing. Now they are saying the items will not be shipped until March. She doesn't need winter items in the spring.Stay far away from this company
I really wish I had read these other reviews first. Perhaps I can save someone else. Don't order. Don't trust them to do the right thing. I ordered a $95 shirt that I had my eye one for a while. Finally decided to pull the trigger. Got it, washed it...and out of the wash, it will never ever get close to looking like the photos. No amount of ironing will ever accomplish it. Return policy says only unwashed items. I sent it back anyway...there's no way to know the quality until it's been washed. They sent it back to me and refused the return. Even put in their notes "covered with hair." Customer service will do nothing about it. I'm stuck. Tempted to file a complaint with my credit card, but by the terms of the order Carbon is "correct" in refusing the return.
They sent my 83 year old mother a catalog. She wanted to order two items and did so over the phone. We then received a suspicious text message claiming to be the USPS asking for a zip code clarification. Thank goodness she brought this to me to see before she clicked the link which turned out to be a fishing scam. I called Carbon2cobalt to ask about her order, the take forever to answer the phone and or call you back. The call is coming form out of the US. The person said she has not order number for my mother's order only has an account. I said really? I asked when is her items going to ship. Again the rep told me she didn't order anything. They are fast to charge your credit card though. We called her bank to put a stop on the charge. This company is nothing but another China company scam that steals pictures from other websites and then sells you crap that is way overpriced. Shame on you people.
I would highly recommend that you do NOT order from this company. I have been waiting for over 3 months for my order, all I've gotten were multiple emails stating that my order is postponed again.
I ordered a top and returned it. They declined refund and said it had makeup stains. They returned the top to me today and there were NO stains. They sent pictures with the refusal to refund. The customer service claimed they would refund but I received another email shortly denying it😡. Will never buy anything from them!
I ordered a white women's shirt from Carbon2Cobalt. It arrived and was actually a dirty grey. I returned it and was notified that they were sending it back to me because it had some pet hair on it. Really? Such an arbitrary reason, which, as it turns out, is the way they run their business. I called and talked with a customer service rep (they should be called Customer Service Robos since they don't actually serve anything) who never once tried to work with me to resolve the problem. He also promised to email me with a solution after speaking with his manager and...guess what? No email. So basically they returned to me a product I DON'T WANT because it is not as advertised (I ordered a white shirt, not a dirty grey one) because there was some pet hair on it and (more importantly) so that they could keep my money. Poor, poor business model, really bad customer "service" (haha), and theft of my money because the product is not as advertised/sold. Stay away from C2C!
C2C does marketing well and that's about it. Way overpriced and here is one example; identical shirts, same photograph, with prices ranging from $26.52 to $89.00 - and you know the seller makes a profit even on the $26.52 shirt. I call this a ripoff. You be the judge.
I've ordered two items from C2C, returned one and doubt I'll wear the other because it looks like it came from the Big & Tall rack. Other than that, I'll let these photos speak for me.
Color online didn't match color that I received...must use some different lighting...one was bright one was dull
Received vest as gift a few weeks ago. Order S*******. Difficult to zip. Not like L.L. Bean metal Zippers.
Also whoever designed them I know they're designed in either America or whatever made in China or India but whoever designed these clothes for men and women must be a computer because the cuts the way there they fit is not right for the money you're spending
Beautiful clothing. Well made. Lovely fabrics and tailoring. BUT! The worst customer service. I ordered several items that did not ship together. The first shipment never moved from the warehouse. I tried to report this to them several times with the tracking number. The agent did not every comprehend the situation. Repeatedly reminding me about some 5-10 business days which is a given but again NOT the issue.
Here I am 2 weeks later with still no package and USPS closed my case. The package is lost or stolen according to them. It never transited after its initial location. Now these things happen from time to time. My concern was more about the lack of skills to resolve a valid issue and to please the customer. This is an upscale catalog. Sadly I had to file a dispute with my CC company. Hopefully when the funds are withdrawn trained personnel will be available. None the less I'm sure I won't shop with them ever again. I do like everything I've purchased this far.
I've purchased Christmas presents for the men in my life for the last two years from this Company… Great Boots, soap and leather bags but very disappointed with the quality of their clothing and even more disappointed with their Customer Service. FYI two washing cycles before zippers break, threads become frayed and the Fading begins. I buy and care for top designer lines as a norm so when I am told that because the garment has been washed twice, there is no warranty it tells me that they do not expect a garment to last more than two cycles from the door. I do not recommend you buy your loved one anything from this company due to that fact. I know I certainly do not intend on purchasing anything more. Thank you.
Love the colors and patterns of the shirt selection. I was initially hesitant to order due to price but took a chance. The shirt I ordered exceeded my expectation both in color and quality. The size was perfect and did not shrink after several washings and tumble dry sessions. I will definitely order again.
Too many retailers out there. Avoid at all cost. Issue with Christmas gift and all they did was torcher with emails did we wear it, wash it, use stain remover. Send additional pictures. Every time we complied they kept up with more questions hoping I would go away. Incredible. I will never purchase from this company and you should think long and hard before doing so.

I've never heard of this company before a declined 5am charge for 90 bucks in my checking account. So I wanna know how yall even got my card info!?!?!?!?!? Luckily they got the expiration date wrong
After placing an order with this company, I did not receive a confirmation or any shipping information. When the item never arrived, I checked my credit card and discovered that I was charged in full for the item. When I contacted the company, at first they could not even locate my order. Once found, it was communicated to me that it had shipped to an address from over 10 years ago. They stated that I had entered that information, which I absolutely did not do. I always triple check my information before confirming on line orders to ensure it is accurate. The company refused to reverse the charges or reship the item to the correct address. Lost my business for sure...
Purchased Aegis Zip (Item *******) as gift. Worn once. Pocket seam has one stitch and easily tore. Paid $149, plus shipping, for a product made in China of very poor workmanship. Company charges shipping for refund. Overpriced, cheaply done product with inferior customer service and add-on expenses.
