I placed an order almost 3 weeks ago with CapBeast. I ordered online with a online rep by the name of Vicky A. I order 100 Nike Caps with my company logo. Total order was roughly around 1700$ with expedited shipping. I come into my office and sitting on my desk is a very very small square box with the "CapBeast" logo of let me tell you... not my hats. Not my logo. The hat still had its tags on and was DIRTY. Not my issue bc not my hat. I have been in touch with CapBeast NUMEROUS times over the last 24 hrs with NO solution. CAN SOMEONE CALL ME BACK? I was told a manager "Carl" would get in touch with me. The owner, Saad Malik, my friend, GET NEW MANAGERS. My holiday boxes for my company are now INCOMPLETE because of INCOMPETENT workers. Congrats.
A complete scam. I ordered a custom hat in September and knew upfront that it would take two months to process. When they finally got around to shipping it, they sent it to the completely wrong address. I had to argue with them over and over, despite having screenshots of the shipping address of the order AND a copy of the tracking information. They claimed they would quickly send a replacement and that I would receive tracking information. A month later and no replacement has been sent. Emails demanding a refund have gone unanswered. They stole my money, it doesn't get any more complicated than that!
I ordered a hat for my son on December 11th 2021. I was totally resigned to the fact that it likely wouldn't arrive by Christmas, but that it'd surely be here by his birthday on 1/22/2022. Wrong.
I called after 4 weeks of my order being "pending" for it to go " in production" that day, where it stayed for 2.5 weeks. I was told then that there had been some delay (no more information than that) and that she'd look into it.
It now says it has shipped, however, all I see is that a shipping label has been created and that it's still sitting in New York waiting to find it's way to USPS.
I sent an email in response to my "shipped" notification letting them know how ridiculous it is to have something ship after 6.5 weeks with zero communication on their part and that I'd NEVER order from them again and I'd caution anyone thinking of ordering from them not to bother as well. The response I got was weak and clearly expressed to me that "customer service" doesn't give a $#*! if they lose customers or not. Add to that the fact that I called today and was told my package is in Canada, though what I'm seeing says otherwise to which she responds, it's wrong your package is in Ontario... Why!? I'm in Wilmington, NC!

Customer service is terrible. Slow to respond (if at all) and if you post on social, they'll block you. Customer service has always been bad, but this time the quality of the product was also terrible. The logo was frayed all around each letter and it wasn't even solid. On top of that, the same-sized hat (S/M) fit completely different from the previous order with the same hat type. They all fit too small now. We reached out with no response. These were supposed to be gifts to clients, but the quality is too low to send these out.
Don't waste your time with them. If they mess anything up on your production they will not compensate for anything and you will lose your money. I've experienced this before and should've known better... definitely lesson learned. I was impatient and made an impulsive move here, should've gone with my guys in SD instead but no minimum is better, but all good, lesson learned. These are just a few pictures..
Ordered hats that said on website they were in stock then told that was not right. Kept checking with customer service and they blamed covid and they couldn't get the hats. I ordered hats from a different site and received the same hats and design in two weeks. After six months I gave up and asked for a full refund.
I guess I let the flashy website design fool me. I thought I was working with a reputable company. I was told that my design would be an appropriate image for embroidery, no proof was given. The hats arrived weeks later and colors were misregistered. Colors going in and out of the lines. Not to mention the grey, which is hard to photograph to show what i mean, is super dark in real life. When i contacted customer support they claimed they had no responsibility to make it right, essientially they cant guarantee that their machines will do what they tell you they can do. Sounds like a gamble not worth taking at $20 per hat. Pretty disappointing as i was ready to order alot more if they had just done their job right, I'll just have to look elsewhere.
I was really looking forward to my order because I was sure that everything would be attractive and cool! And I wasn't wrong! The quality is chic, and the price is fully consistent with the quality. Who is really looking for such a service, go to the site!
I've been waiting 4 months for a delivery that was said to be a 4-week turnaround. The customer service interactions have been very nice, but I still don't have my hats. I don't know about the quality, because I've never received what I paid for. I would love to give feedback about how great it looks, but I can't because they haven't fulfilled the order. Their site says a four-week turnaround, but it's not true. I understand the situation the world is in, but four months and counting is a little much.
Over five months since I placed my order, and have received zero updates. Unprofessional or a scam?
I placed an order with this company 2 months ago. Ive sent emails with 1 response with zero information in it. When o called I was given the run around and never given a straight answer on why my order is taking so long (its only 2 hats) and now everytime I try to call again I get a message saying they are closed. I would request my money back but apperently no one at this company actually does anything. I got swindled and I hope no one else does. Oh and I would have given zero stars if the site would have let me. This company is absolute garbage. They should be giving me my order for free at this point.
UPDATE: I have seen on other forums that customers are having similar issues with backordered items and getting refunds. Capbeast is quick to offer the refund via Paypal but that seems sketchy. Tell them you want it back on the card and they supposedly will do it. One forum user mentioned threatening an FTC complaint usually gets them to issue the refund. Still waiting for our refund.
Anna or Anya? Is whom I call every day now asking if "upper management" as she says has escalated the processing of our refund. After placing over a $1K order we found out last minute days before our event that the item was backordered. They tried to sell us something similar but wasnt even comparable style. We formally asked for the refund on September 15. Tomorrow is October 1. Now we just keep getting automated emails saying they are sorry and it will be 7 to 10 more business days to process. And consequently Anna or Anya? Will be getting multiple calls a day from me until it is.
If you want custom hats, order them elsewhere! If I could leave a zero star review, I would. Like so many others, I paid for my hats and after more than 8 weeks I do not have them. Customer service has been terrible. Checked on their website this morning to see the status of my order to discover they cancelled my order without any notification! Unfortunately I don't think my bad experience is unique.
Been trying to get a refund on an item that was never received over 2 months ago. They do respond but keep replying with, "we have told accounting" blah blah blah. 3-5 business days, then 7-10 days. Still nothing…
Entire experience was horrible - quoted four to six weeks, order took nine weeks and five days. Received an email in week eight saying they couldn't fulfill part of our order (red 9Fifty), which I said was unacceptable. So what did they do? They shipped red youth caps that don't fit adults. Additionally, our artwork was super small on the hats, which our staff was upset about and didn't match what we were shown on the website. Lastly, we have many NewEra 9Fiftys from other vendors, and the quality of the capbeast 9Fiftys was much lower - the thickness of the materials, the stitching, etc. We compared side by side and noticed capbeast's 9Fifty's were made in Bangladesh, while our other vendors are made in China. Horrible experience overall, would never, ever, use again. Save your time and money, find a different vendor who puts more attention into their operation.
Hand up, maybe the worst customer service I've ever dealt with and general service. I understand there are supply chain issues right now, which is why I allowed for 5 weeks for my hats to ship. Finally, around week 6, I had to call and check in (no email with an update from them), and was told my hat was out of stock. Then the circle of no responses, swap outs, delays, etc. started. Spent hours on the phone with no progress day after day. Would never use again.

I ordered only 5 custom hats over a month ago, and they are still in the "processing" stage like they haven't even been started yet. For a company that is based solely on only making custom hats, they sure are slow at what they do. So now over a month later and still no update on when my order is going to ship, if at all.
Ordered a custom product 2 months ago and still haven't it. Customer service has been zero help as I'm told the "appropriate department" will contact me and never does. Go figure. Trash company
