CT has nice looking tools. I bought a set of glue clamps and used them - that is tried to use them. They both broke the thread when clamping. No, I am no macho, just a guy in his seventies, so don't tell me it was excessive force. Over the years, it seems that they downgraded their own warranties. Lifetime is less than the print of the cash receipt is legible!

Worthless Canadian Tires vehicles services at Port Coquitlam Canada. So stupid that I chose that location.
Web site search functionality is is beyond useless.
In store and online - already poor selection getting poorer by the day.
Worst customer experience and not Canadian Tire Standard. Bought two fans at this location on 2022-7-30, total of $208. One was defective, within 14 days and have original receipt. On 2022-8-12 around 3pm. Went to refund, line was super long, all the way to the back of store, waited almost 20 mins. Then Customer service refused to take us, as a male manager was training new staff. We waited for another cashier #2, she told us she could not process refund, kicked the ball back to Customer service. We went back to Customer service again, then they sent us to Cashier #4. Cashier #4 promised us store credit only, we want original refund, thus requested to speak to store manager. Store manager came, in her late 40s, Philippino, short, very poor manner. She refused to issue store credit, although it was promised by the cashier #4 earlier. We did not know the fan replacement policy, neither it says anywhere on the receipt. We explained the situation, the unit was defective, within 14 days, and we bought two but only return the defective unit, how customer service and cashiers been taking so long. Without any sympathy and understanding, she then accused us " You used a fan and now want to return, you just want free stuff"this was in front of all the customers and staffs, very humiliating. We explained the circuit was unstable, the fan was on and off every a few mins, she should test it before accusing us. We asked to exchange for another fan that is $5 cheaper, she still refused, said must be exact same model or more expensive. But there is no same model in stock, The next one was $70 more! We asked for another solution, she just told us to go to another store. We had to drive 30 mins under the hot weather to the Vancouver store, the staff tested unit and recognized the issue, and immediately agreed for a refund.
It is unbelievable how could Canadian Tire stores have inconsistent customer service and return policy. DO NOT ever shop at King Edward & Lougheed, Near Schoolhouse store.
A couple of years ago I had returned an item without a receipt. No problem. Was issued a Refund Card. However, unknown to me, and not disclosed by the Canadian Tire staff member, a Refund Card has an expiry date of one year from date of issue. Found out this information today when I tried to use the card in store and the customer service rep said the card is "expired". I asked, "Refund cards don't expire, do they?" She didn't answer directly but advised me to "look online". Lack of transparency has me giving this company only 2 stars.
I had booked an appointment to fix my Toyota Echo 2005 power steering line replacement. My son dropped the car at 1901 Eglinton E Canadian Tire garage, without explaining him they took signature on paper work. After a while I got a call, they estimated $1500+ tax for cover the cost. It was not justified to pay for that job, I want back my car, they gave me an invoice of $67 for inspection fee which was not explained me when I have agreed for that appointment, that they need a fees to quote a price. It could be done during the booking of appointment. Its like a daylight robbery for me.So, be careful folks from this Big Box scammer organization.
Purchased a $200 cooler from here only to have to wheel brake off after 1st use. Canadian tire policy is no refunds once used. So I was forced to exchange it only too have that one break as well. I went back to the store for another one but now the 90 days is passed so now I am stuck with a large cooler that dos not roll. So pissed with Canadian Tire. I will never step foot in one of their stores and hope now one else has the same experience I did with Canadian Tire. But as I'm reading online reviews it appears I'm not the only dis satisfied customer. Please be aware they are happy to take your money but hold no responsibility for the products they sell once used. Unfortunately you don't know if a product works until it is used. Stay far away from this store. I would expect this service from an American company Not a CANADIAN company.
They don't know what they are doing! They checked the good tire and said that there is no problem! Charged me for fixing flat tire! The flat tire was still in the car and never been touched! I had to come back again!
I dropped my car for AC freon recharge at 4:54PM and came back to pick it up at 5:45PM (51 min.). I was charged with 1.6 +. 20 labour hours? Costing $283.77 + tax just. The boss said that it is not necessary that labour hours equates to real time. WHAT A RIPOFF
Many, many years ago, Canadian Tire was our go to store. However, I refuse to shop there any more. Firstly, the quality of their products is really poor. For example, I bought a 100 ft Yardworks heavy duty garden hose with the double braided radial reinforcement whose outer casing cracked within the first year of use. It was stored inside during the winter so the weather cannot be to blame, it cracked during summer use! Our MASTER Chef Prime 4-Burner Propane Gas BBQ Grill had such poor quality grills that they bent towards the flame during the first use causing the food to be up against the flames. It was a cheap BBQ, but I expected it to function at least for the first year or so. Our last experience was the worst yet; we bought a Raleigh Huck Dual Suspension Mountain Bike, 21-Speed, 29-in for our son that was put together by the store in order to support their warranty. However, the second time he used it, the chain got caught up in the gears causing him to crash. When he tried to get it fixed, the store told him it was not their fault and that it worked when they tested it when it was put together. He's been trying to get a response from Raleigh to no avail. Canadian Tire's no returns policy puts the risk onto the purchasers for faulty products. It is no longer a store that I can trust and chose to not shop there any more. Buy at your own risk!
The service department at Canadian tire Fort McMurray is the worst. Braiden did work on my car and made it worse. They then told me to buy a new car. The crew does not have a clue how to fix anything on a vehicle. They will just keep diverting to another part of the vehicle that does not need fixing. Go to another auto repair shop.
Unfortunately for me, I placed an online order to the CDN Tire in Rockland (as that location was the only store with this product). Upon arriving for curbside pick up, I waited 20 minutes for a staff member to show up. He did not have his barcode scanner, as a result, he manually wrote down the items. Needless to say, I did finally receive my purchased items. That young man was very nice/polite. Some of the items were not to my liking, so I went into the store to return them. The Cashier Paula, rude, unhelpful, minimal Customer Service skills if any. First, she accuses me of opening the package, I explained to her that I moments ago picked up this order as-is. She once again stated that she cannot refund me because I open the package. She basically called me a liar. The next issue arose because the young man servicing the curbside did not have his scanner, and therefore did not close the order, meaning that no refund is possible until the order is closed, and here is the kicker, none, not a Supervisor, Manager knows how to close the order, and that I would have to travel 1 hr. Back to the store to have the issue resolved. Unfreaking believable. I am now at my boiling point. Only with my persistence was this fiasco rectified. There is much more, but I will leave it here.
If the option of 0 stars was available, it would apply here. The Managers, Supervisors, and staff, all need to be re-educated and taught how to service customers, who without they would not exist.
Can understand why you discontinued my product very upset was on hold for 45 minutes to tell me the product is no longer available very upset with the customer service department and I'd like to know why I can no longer buy this product
Had a very good experience at the store today, wanted to especially thank Anjali who was very helpful the entire time. She stopped in the middle of her work and helped me as nobody was helping me with the things that i wanted, loved her attitude would love to visit the store again.
My dealings with your Kingston Store on Princess has been outstanding. I have found that Canadian Tire really does stand behind their products. Had a problem with tires a few years ago and lately a issue with a Coleman 16 by 8 above ground pool.
Outdoor furnitures were on sale so I bought a loveseat and a armchair+bench for $900 in total. I need them delivered to my home, they charge $200 for this. Ok fine, since I am 6 months pregnant so I couldn't carry anything so I'll pay for this.
Second day, got email notice it's shipped, however it's 3 separate shippments, the armchair and bench was left at nearest Canada Post for me to pickup? Called customer service to complain, made it very clear that I cannot pickup heavy object. They did nothing but refunded me only $50 dollars for delivery fee. Yet, I am still waiting for the loveseat to arrive by 3rd party delivery company.
On the day of delivery, waited for 5 hours (passed the delivery window). Called the company and found out order was cancelled by Canadiantire at 5:15am? There was no email, no notice and no refund.
Called Canadian tire, they simplest ask me to make another online purchase while they sort things out?!
Omg, don't even know how they can survive with this kind of service?
I have purchase 2 fruit tree after 1 year both died never buy any trees from Canadian tire aka china tire
I ordered an item online, when I went to return it, I found that online purchases can't be returned, even if they are damaged. They do not tell you this when you are ordering, I won't be ordering online in the future..
Canadian Tire should be ASHAMED of themselves and should not be allowed to use CANADIAN in their name. They're PRICES ARE INSANE. Big fat corporate $#*!s getting rich off of poor canadians. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE $#*!S.
Answer: Yes, all of them, no one has such a strict return policy.
