The sell your information

Anyone considering buying a camper do not ever buy a camper from Camping World. They sell your information to countless places that relentlessly telemarket and spam the $#*! out of you even after you tell them a million times that the camper is on a seasonal site and to stop. I will never again buy from them! Nearly a year later and still receiving endless spam mail and calls. Absolutely the most grimy way of doing business and how to treat a customer who just spent several thousands of dollars with you.

I do not ever do these, I could not stay silent while people continue to spend their hard earned money with a company that has no intention of taking care of you, should any issue arise with your RV purchase. My husband and I purchased a NEW 2020 Coleman the end of June, we drug it to St Louis, MO where my husband found work. (Trailer is to live in)
July 5th the air-conditioner quit cooling. It has been a back and forth between Camping World in OKC, GoodSam, and the AC company. It is 9/10/20 and we still do not have air in a BRAND NEW TRAILER THAT WE ARE HAVING TO LIVE IN! No one cares, no one has any sense of doing what is right. I have never seen a company this large with such horrible business practices. The BBB is full of complaints... Karma is coming for this company. I wouldn't send anyone to this place!

Destroys marriage

Do not let your wife work or try to do any business here cause gregg the manager will
Flirt and have an affair with her and write messages to another man's wife that is very vulgar unapropriate and have destroyed a family and continues to do so. I hope the correct actions are made to maintain a safe work environment for a woman to continue to work at camping world or do any business without being sexually harrased. I Will continue to post reviews at other campers world to spread the word until he pays for destroying a marriage of 7 years. I also have the messages he was sending my wife that degrading and unapropriate

I bought Thomas pane theater seating it makes a lot real loud noise when reclining and setting backup. Sent email no response called number for ceo the woman that answered told I would have to call manufacturer. I told her I bought this from camping world and spent 1700. 00 and they should stand behind there product she told me again to call manufacturer. I will never another item for camping world again all they do is rip you off.

Ordered a Maxair roof vent. 4 weeks of stalling and lies later oh and no product. I ask for a refund which they may have lied about also because 5 days later, still no refund. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Costumer Service

I perchased a item after about 8 weeks I finally received the item an upon opening it was missing the mounting brackets. When on line email their Costumer Service on July 1,2020 about the miss brackets. Then again on July 15,2020 with no answer. Finally after not getting any answer as of August 10,2020 we emailed VIP Marcus's to the email address that is on Camping World website hopefully we will answer! As of today, nothing.

High pressure sales

High pressure sales. Very bad place to do business. They told me they would put the hitch on and the sway bar, well that did not happen. They sent me to U-Haul where I had to pay for it. Camping world also charged me for the sway bar. Very high interest rate. Now I'm stuck with this.

Warranty Work

Lake City, Fl Camping World

Made an appointment to have two recliners repacked under warranty. I initially spoke with Krista in service who scheduled my appointment for the next day.

Upon arrival I spoke with Krista who had all my paperwork ready for signing and we did a walk around of my unit. Within 30 minutes they had the unit by the bay ad were getting ready to install my recliners. Approximately 1 hour later I received a call that the recliners were replaced and the unit was ready to be inspected.

I went inside and noted they had installed the new recliners. There were some foot tracks from going in/out of the unit, which should have been cleaned since I brought it to them clean. But overall the recliners looked great.

I saw the Old recliners they took out and disassembled in the boxes the new ones came in. Not thinking about my remote controls which were left in the storage compartment of the old recliners, I hooked up my unit and drove home.

When I got home and parked my unit, I went to do a further inspection on the recliners, upon opening the storage area I remembered this is where I kept my remotes for stereo/tv/outside tv. I immediately called camping world and told them the remote will be in the center console of the old recliners. About 15 minutes later I got a voice mail from Krista advising they found one remote. I advised her that all 3 are kept together ALWAYS, and to please have someone go thoroughly through the boxes to ensure they are not overlooked and thrown out.

It has been 1 hour since I last spoke to Krista, let's keep our fingers crossed they find the other 2 remotes, doesn't make sense you find 1 and not the other 2?

I will keep you all posted, as of this review I will give Camping World of Lake City 4 stars out of 5, if they find my other remotes they will receive a 5 of 5

We wanted a travel trailer, went to camping world in Monticello Mn. Looked and liked one, asked for a price, but wanted us to fill in all paperwork and copies of id's and insurance. While out in car getting insurance got the wife to semi complete a credit application just in case. After asking 10+ times for a price, the associate went off to get it, within 3 minutes I get a email alert showing my credit was run. A hard inquiry that stays on your credit report for 2 years. Contacted the manager, nothing he could do. *******@marcuslemonis, told by his assistants it's a shame but nothing they can do. Shady very shady

I guess my review isn't really any different than everyone else. If you call they just leave you on hold and if you go to the store in Concord, NC they either don't know anything about their products or literally just ignore you. This is just one of those business that make money by location because if it was by customer service they would be broke by now.

Service department is terrible. Bought a 2019 Grand Design Momentum camper, in Feb. 2020, due to Covid first trip we could make was May 2020 and we had issue with our Black Tank release value first trip out. Brought in for fix, advised what would happen, they had camper 2 weeks, and bottom was Cut and Taped with tape hanging off. NOT the fix they told us. Got manager involved - they would look into a fix... was called put in writing(yup in writing) the fix they would do to correct the issue. Brought camper back, reviewed again the fix they would make which included a corrugated material being added to bottom, was told 2 days for fix, all parts in, 10 days later it's ready and I pick up camper. TAPE again which is hanging off. No corrugated bottom like they said and to add to it, I now have hanging lines/wires all over the bottom, one of which is just about dragging on the ground. When we asked why they didn't do the fix they said they would I was told we just didn't... when asked about hanging lines... was told"I can go run and get Zip ties"(seriously?). I have all the info in writing, I have pictures I've attached 3 of them here you can see the Bottom of my camper with wires hanging, and the tape. Yes TAPE I live in New England. That will hold up great during our winters with the salt they put on our roads... Service department does not care clearly, and as for trying to reach someone, you have to leave multiple messages for a return call. Please avoid them, go elsewhere. I wish we had!

ORDERED A CAMPER JACK ON 07/08/2020 STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION HAVE CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE TWICE WITH ONLY BEING PLACED ON HOLD FOR EVERY WITH NO ANSWER. TRIED TO DO LIVE CHAT GUESS WHAT NO ONE IS AVAILABLE. This is not a delay in my order this is a rip off of peoples money they did not tell me when i ordered this item that it was on back order or i wouldn't have purchased from them. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Today is 07/27/2020 still nothing and cant reach them.

Be sure you look underneath your camper before you buy it, and think about purchasing a camper somewhere else Other than camping world. They are a franchise. The only thing they care about is the sale and the commission they get paid for it. Once you sign those papers and they sold you your camper, if you have any problems you can guarantee you will not get them fixed correctly. It will take at least 5 to 6 weeks to get your camper back, and when you call headquarters to place a complaint, all they do is send them an email and they never call you back. They have a slogan " If you're not happy we're not happy" that is the biggest line of crap I ever heard. So basically everything is great if you do not have a problem. But if something happens to your camper for one reason or another you can bet your bottom dollar that you're going to be aggravated and have the worst time of your life. When you express to the employees how upset you are, they do not care. This is the worst place I ever bought a camper, and this is my fourth camper. And I will never buy a camper here again and I encourage you to also do the same. Do yourself a favor and go to a small business or people actually care if you're unhappy we had problems with our gas line, and our stabilizers. Oddly enough when we were standing in the service line to pick up our supposedly repaired camper, there was a woman in front of me who was also waiting six weeks and very upset. I see she still having problems because they didn't fix all of her problems with her camper as well. We have a permanent campsite, and there's three people this year who purchased a camper from camping world who all had issues as well

Service Sucks!

The warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on. Do not buy from this company for any reason. Dropped my camper off 9 weeks ago for warranty work on both A/C units and the refrigerator. As of today, no work has been done on the camper. I have been given multiple parts delivery dates, all have come and gone and supposedly no parts have been delivered.

I brought my camper in to have some simple repairs done. They claimed the control panel was faulty.( it is a new camper and I had no problems with it.) They didn't clean up after themselves, the control panel was hanging half off the wall I have to end my vacation early to go back to have it fixed. And the best they can do for accommodations, is lock me inside the fence with two children.

Do not buy from this company. Their only interest is getting your money. Purchased a new Jayco from Bossier, La camping world towed it 15 miles set it up and began having problems. Contacted camping world nothing has been done yet. Contacted Jayco and was told to hire an independent contractor to do repairs, pay for out of my picket. Contacted camping world again and was told the same thing. They do not care about taking care of the rv after the sale. Also contacted corporate office no response.

Bad trust factor

I drove over 7 hours total to get a new bumper pull camper and it had hail damage and I was badly mislead at the dealership in rapid city they wanted me to drive it off and claim the hell insurance later
