The Georgetown Kentucky location deserves five stars due to the teamwork under the outstanding leadership of General Manager Jamie Evans. He is fantastic and a great asset to Campingworld and customers. Jamie took my phone call on his day off to help me solve a roadside problem I had in California. My $150,000 purchase was my first RV. Thank you to the entire team for their hard work and making me feel like a VIP. John Michael with the demo, Anna in sales, Terrance is a great technician. Service Manager Steven García was always responsive. Paul in parts, Demario and the retail team was awesome. They deserve this five star rating. I recommend them!
They sold an RV to two parties (maybe more) at the same time as us taking money from each. Never told any party they were a back up offer. We were deliberately lead to believe we had a deal not knowing they were working another party for another deal at the same time! We were paying cash and from what they told us, the other party had failed financing bit was still trying. Yet Camping World took our money and never advised another party had dibs on the unit. EXCEPTIONALLY POOR MANAGEMENT! We had a deal and they broke it out right.
Please AVOID Camping World... they are obviously not honest.
If there was negative stars they would get them. We walked in to buy a Class A and it was the start of a complete disaster right there. Found two we liked. Test drove one, the other was told it was out of our price range but it wasn't. We had our own financing and they tried to charge us $3k more for that even though agreement had what we agreed on. This company has given us a complete run around and we will never walk back into this place if they were the ONLY ones selling these.
I'm mad at myself for ever buying from CW! I should have known better. We bought a new Thor Aria in 2017. In January of 2019, The rear A/C quit. It was under manufacturer warranty so we took the coach back to the original CW that we bought it from. They replaced the unit and I thought (foolish me) WOW what great service. However, since they replaced it, we have had numerous water leaks inside that we discovered while on a trip far from home. When we got home, we took the coach to our local RV repair and asked them to please check the unit. They found that CW only installed the unit with 3 bolts instead of four leaving a gap that allowed water to run under it and into the ceiling. The roof is now decaying and is upward of $13,000 to fix. I contacted CW CEO, Marcus Lemonis and of course, they take no responsibility. Surprise! I have since found there are so many victims of CW unscrupulous ethics that there is a FB page for Victims of Marcus Lemonis and a website https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2020/11/11/*******/0/en/Victims-of-Camping-World-CEO-and-NBC-Star-Marcus-Lemonis-Join-Forces-on-New-Website.html.
Bottom line... stay away from CW. I wish we had listened when we were looking to buy. We are stuck now and have no choice but to fix this with no help from them. Our morals will not let us trade this coach in just to pass the problem on to the next unsuspecting customer. That would make us no better than CW and I will not ever be that person.
I took my brand new camper in for service for a leak in a grey tank. After paying $1200 to have it fixed and supposedly winterized, It was not. It froze over the winter and froze the toilet, black water and grey water. I took it back in because it flooded on our first campout after their repairs. They accused me of having work done elsewhere incorrectly. They also broke the motor to raise and lower the pop-up which was fine when I took it in. They accused me of having it welded by someone else. They charged me another $700. None of the problems were caused by us and we never went to another shop.
Bobby in Service, David Jakes, Dennis Bridge and Mr Lemonis did nothing. I highly recommend not doing business here. They clearly don't care about their customers. Awful service and even worse management!
Do not buy if you value your camping experience I promise you if you have a problem with your camper you are out a summer of camping VERY POOR SERVICE
I was involved in an accident and took my travel trailer to Camping World for an estimate. They gave me an estimate but then agreed with the insurance company to cut it by 25% and then I brought it in for service and paid them my deductible, they would file for the rest - I am not going to be held hostage by these thieves! I can take it anywhere I want for service but they are in bed with National General Insurance.
Bought a 2021 34' Heartland Pioneer yesterday, Ben in Jackson MS was our salesman... he was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we were looking for, he even came back in on his day off to help us with last minute details and getting us hooked up and road ready.
SAVE YOURSELF AND DON'T TAKE YOUR CAMPER HERE FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS. We went yesterday after 15 weeks to pick up camper from warranty repairs only to find that they only did 25% of the repairs. They didn't even write them all up for warranty after we spent over 2 hours in the middle of July in over 100 degree temps to write it up for them. There is no customer service and quality of respect for their business. Even the General Manager, Jeff Morris, will feed you a line of SH** to get rid of you. They are now on their 4th Service Manager since December of 2019, that should tell you a lot.
Customer service provides lip service only. They lack processes to fill orders. Be prepared to wait.
I Michael would not recommend no one to do any business with this company if you do. You will be sorry
My husband and I wanted to trade in our camper and purchase another one. Our sales representative, Joe Ingram, at the Council Bluffs Ia store was fantastic! Very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable of the camper we wanted to purchase! We would like to recommend Joe to everyone who is needing to purchase a camper! Camping World in Council Bluffs Ia has very friendly staff working in their store. From the people directing you as you walk into the door, their sales staff like Joe Ingram, the finance staff, to the staff preparing your camper to take home, they were all great to work with! I ordered the Seaflow 42 series 12v pump from the Camping World. I did not receive the pump even after seven weeks. I called and talked to the company two times. But they neither sent the item nor refunded my money. Looks like they don't care.
Very disappointed with the company and very poor customer service.

I purchased a brand new camper and was delivered damaged. It's been in for service for 6 months and they are not fixing the problems and damaging my camper more in the process. Seeking legal help. DO NOT BUY HETE!
This rating is for Camping World's customer service. It has now been a month since I ordered two 3400 Champion quiet generators and only one has arrived. Every time I try to contact them by phone I get a representative who obviously does not have an interest in helping. They either have a smart mouth or seem to be oblivious to what is going on with my order. I've gotten no response by email... just automated replies. I am reporting them to BBB.
Sales person didn't know his product, the financial guy run my credit at several different financial establishments I have a 860 score you don't have to do that also the financial guy skipped over me making me late for a appointment now 2 months later I still don't have promised parts
And they ain't even on order! License plates haven't been applied for.
I look for the RV to break in half soon with the luck I've had.
I purchased a camper from camping world last year and paid it off by in February of this year after paying it I decided to cancel the extended warranty on April. Long story short I have waiting since May that's 5 months and still no check. What do think they would if you where setting on their money for 5 months
Sick and tired of being sideshifted. I believe that they includeing there corporate management care only about the dollar and thing about Public Relation and customer service.
I bought a cedar creek Rv from them and it was the worst experience I have ever had and this is our 10 RV. They didn't clean it, they told me they check everything out and was all good to go (lie) dint know until the next day that the ice maker, hot water heater, inverter, a day night Shade, and the leveling system didn't work and that's not counting the list of other work. And also they didn't have keys for it and I didn't find that out until we was leaving there lot at 9:00 pm. They came and picked it up and had it for a week and told us they fixed the issue and had ordered domes parts and would have me keys in a couple of days. MORE LIES! They didn't order any parts and only half of what they was suppose to have fixed was fixed. And when I called CWC they acted like no big deal. Oh and to top it off the first camping trip I found out that the RV had a major water leak. I could go on for hours but I hope I have said enough for all you to stay away from CAMPING WORLD!
OH MY GOODNESS! This place is beyond frustrating! We ordered a septic tote tank in March which arrived damaged. I have called so many times I have lost track to have this issue dealt with. They are so apologetic and make promises to the moon and back HOWEVER it cannot be believed, as soon as you hang up that's it they are done with you... No response EVER! They promise to send repair parts, nope! Promise to ship a new tote tank, nope! So sorry your problems are going to be over now, we are fixing this right now... that's all they say and NOTHING happens! DO NOT ORDER from Camping World, may as well give your $$$$$ to the homeless.
Answer: Honestly, the more I look to find answers on Camping world, the more negative reviews I see, had an RV dropped off a Forklift while I was signing papers! Try to beat that! New RV and dropped off a forklift. Worse yet, the corporate managers DID NOT WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT, that folks is the legit truth! It's one thing for accidents to happen, it's another to not make things right, bad management!
