Very sorry to hear that you ordered the wrong model for your provider as unfortunately such returns can be preventable by checking with your provider before purchase. In fact, we don't even list your provider as a compatible model for their service for this very reason because the firmware on the units we sell is different then the ones your providers uses as rental units so we tried to help you but not listing your provider but you purchased it anyways. You will also see online on Amazon and Ebay the same story that it won't work with your provider and so with a little due diligence or by simply asking us regarding the model the we would have been happy to assist you. Instead you order a modem we don't list to work with your provider, then leave us a 1 star review when against our recommendation you buy it anyways and sure enough it doesn't work? We are sorry that you don't agree with the restocking fee that was assessed as again we did ship you the exact model you ordered but unfortunatley you purchased an item that is not compatible for your service. This despite even being presented with a notice stating that before you can complete checkout please confirm that you have read the items description page word for word as you can't complete checkout from us without acknowledging or accepting such terms so that we can prevent these preventable misunderstanding from happening. In reality we don't have this problem very often thank goodness and in fact have THOUSANDS OF POSITIVE REVIEWS on our website, over 95% positive feeback on Amazon, and are a Top rated seller on Ebay with years of taking care of our customers as you can't just "Fake" reviews on these sites but I understand how you would need to say that in order to make it look like you are not the 4% of people who just flat out didn't read what you were buying and then went on a witch hunt after the fact when you found out this was the case.
We certainly try and our best to serve our customers the best we can as is proven by our track record on multiple sites but unfortunatley we can't prevent customers who don't read before they buy and just make assumptions and unfortunatley we are bound to have a few and it makes it tough try and help but the review sites such as this provide a great environment for such to vent instead of take responsibility.

Very sorry for any confusion but unfortunately we don't and never have offered this item as new and in fact right on the items descriptioin page we do list this item to be in refurbished condition, provide a specific definition for such condition, and then also provide an item by item list of what would be included. The majority of our customers love this unit for Comcast but I can see how if you didn't read anything and just assumed it was new in a form that was never listed then you might be disappointed. Also, this is not even a Comcast part number so common sense would tell you that it certainly is not "stolen" from Comcast but unfortunately you fell for what they fed you instead of follow our instructions including calling the executive number we provided for them which could have resolved your problem. Nonetheless, we issued you an RMA and the return was processed and refunded for you in accordance with our return policy. Very sorry to hear that you weren't able to read the items description page as this item is listed for $200 from Verizon as a brand new unit as we list it at $70 in refurbished condition with a 1 year warranty and do list that it may have some cosmetic issues but is fully functional. This is one of our top selling item as our customers love the savings they get on this modem as it saves them over $130! However, you confirmed that you needed a nice looking unit to give as a gift which in that case perhaps the $200 unit would have been what would have worked better for your situation but it doesn't change that we sent you exactly what was listed to be sent to you and can't be responsible if it doesn't make the perfect gift option and you are not purchasing it for your own needs and use. So naturally we would not exchange the unit that was listed as refurbished for you with a brand new one as that was not a reasonable request. We provide an affordable option for our customers with a great warranty so that they can't lose money buying from us vs forking out $200 for a cosmetically nicer looking unit or lease modem. So yes, because we sent you what was listed and you confirm it very well probably worked but wanted a new looking unit for $130 less than what they are priced at so we would charge you a restocking fee in the event of a return. We are sorry that you don't like this and that a manager was not able to change this policy for you but can assure you that why we may be straightforward we certainly were not rude to you regardless of you wanting to talk to as many people as you could to try and give you a different answer. Please, please, please perform the due diligence before making purchases online going forward and read what you are buying as there were notices all over that could have prevented this letting you know this was a refurbished unit and as such may have some cosmetic flaws as we feel this review is extremely unfair given the expectation does not fit the offer nor the price offered.

Customer ordered an item from us and confirmed that he didn't perform the due diligence in reading the items description page BEFORE purchase and then filed a claim on Paypal for an item not received instead of cancelling the order. So the item was shipped and the buyer just refused the item and created a whole mess in what should have been a simple cancellation. Please Please Please just read what you are buying as this certainly was a waste of time and money for both parties for what is an easily preventable issue of read before you buy. Also, we sell the same item on Ebay and Amazon so you are ironic is saying one should just buy from Amazon or Ebay as it the same seller and perhaps it may have been the buyer that could be the common factor and the one who could have prevented purchasing the wrong thing. We are very sorry to hear that the model you purchased was not accepted by your provider. However, it appears that we don't list this model to work with your provider and then if you read your providers list of approved modems then you would also see that they state that they DO NOT accept third party telephone modems. Nonetheless, you went ahead and purchased this model for your provider despite everything telling you not to as this was not an "unreturned modem" but we buy modems from several providers including Cox as they phase them out as this is an older modem and as such they may have black listed them but we have installed several of this modem on other providers of which were listed right on the items description page. So unfortunately since you purchased this model despite everything telling you not to for this provider the item was returned as was in perfect working condition but was just purchased for the wrong provider which was totally preventable. As such, you were assessed a restocking fee per our purchase terms that were presented and accepted by you in order to complete checkout to cover the costs of a preventable return. Also, listed in our purchase terms it states that you are to contact your provider BEFORE PURCHASE to make sure they will accept a model of which you also failed to do which would have prevented this mishap for all parties and saved a lot of shipping and labor costs. Please please please perform the due diligence before making purchases as there were notices all over that could have prevented this.
