We wife bought a breast pump online on April 9th. It still has not arrived. We've called 5 times now. I understand that because of CoVid that delivery times are going to be awful. The issue is that every time we've called they say it will arrive in 2 days. It's not, and if you have no control over it, why lie? Stop the nonsensical apologies on the phone and either fix the problem or admit that you lack the ability to do so.

I have a baby registry here and have purchased thousands of dollars in merchandise. When I needed customer service on the phone or email (I tried both unsuccessfully), they did not answer my emails, kept me on hold for extended lengths of time, never answering, had a non-working number some days. At a time when I cannot physically go to the store (because they are all closed due to shelter in place) this company should provide customer service on phone and email. This is ridiculous. I am going to order the remainder of my baby needs from Amazon because there I would be able to return something and get in touch with someone regarding damaged goods.

I bought something as a gift, they canceled the order rather then contacting me 1 week later I don't even have my money back such a waste of time id rather deal with any other company than buybuybaby.com and good luck trying to get a hold of anyone you have a better chance reaching President Trump - WORST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE

Careless people shipped out a tub for a baby with holes in the padding where you lay ur baby. It couldn't be unnoticed because it wasn't in a box it was just put in a plastic bag that had holes in it as well. This suppose to be a baby store that's responsible for baby items and moms and specially first time moms relay on their trust and help. I bough that as a gift from a baby shower registry and was disgusted when I opened box it was delivered in... now I shipped it for replacement and haven't hear from nobody. Smh

Terrible experience

Treated like crap even after being patronized by pointless instruction, presumed that only people driving trucks and rental cars shop there especially for collapsible cribs and mattresses, and given absolute laxed use of 6 meter space and only reminded as I'm at checkout that yes it is enforced. WTF?!? You want a better review from me, $#*! off, dont assume cars cant haul commercial goods, stop treating customers like kids and do your $#*!ing job! Runny, I'm looking at you, you prick!

I placed an order on Saturday for a pair of shoes. After reading some of the reviews (which I should have done first), I changed my mind and tried to call to cancel on Monday. I was on hold for 15 minutes and no one answered. I had to send an email to cancel the order. Their website conveniently doesn't allow them to be contacted on the weekends... the email wouldn't go through. Since Monday, I've continually gotten canned email responses that never address my refund. They are refusing to refund my money. BAD BUSINESS! Their website advertises 100% money back guarantee. My next step is reporting them to the BBB. Do not buy anything from this company!

BuyBuyBaby is worthless. Ordered online a $400+ stroller/combo to be shipped to a niece for a shower gift; she was registered on their website, so it's not like they shouldn't have been completely certain what was purchased and should have been shipped. What arrives? Two clocks worth less than $50. I called the company and they get defensive, demanding that arrangements be made to return the clocks before they will ship the stroller -- "it's their policy -- how do WE know that she didn't receive the stroller?" This made me feel as if I was being called a liar, and I gave them MY policy -- that they need to ship the right thing and just forget about returning the clocks as a goodwill gesture for my time and trouble in putting this right, but that didn't go anywhere. Niece arranged to return clocks (yes, the "surprise" was ruined at this point) and new item shipped. Also wrong -- this time it was a car seat. Well, they were getting closer in terms of value. Niece had to go through the whole exchange process again. Finally, third time was the charm. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They are incompetent and they are not at all customer-focused. They do bill your credit card quickly, however. That, they know how to do. Save yourself some grief. BuyBuy from ANYONE but these people.

Buy Buy Baby I will say does their best to have excellent customer service. However, I was pretty disappointed when they said they would send me ONE welcome box for twins. I told them I would have sent my ultrasound with a photo ID to them just to confirm I am carrying twins. I asked her "So you guys are welcoming only one of my two babies into the world?". The point of the welcome/sample box is to sample... I just thought it was a little crazy being that I am not going to pass the same pacifier back and forth to my babies to see if they take to it.

I called Target for my welcome/sample box and asked if they sent 2 being that I am carrying twins. They were more than happy to help as long as I showed proof that I was carrying twins. They understand the risk of sampling the same products to both babies is unsanitary. I definitely rate target with a 5 star customer service.

I bought a crib & dresser set for my expecting daughter. SIX pieces came damaged. I sent pictures over to the customer service department, they started a claim. For TWO weeks they kept saying that the replacement parts needed to come from the vendor and they were still waiting for a response. After I threatened to dispute the charges on my credit card, they reluctantly agreed to ship a new crib. A month after the order was placed, we have a new crib but still a broken unusable dresser. Every time you call, the escalation "specialist" assigned to the case is not in and no one can provide updated information. I will NEVER make a purchase with them again. I had horrible experience with Bed Bath & Beyond and stopped shopping there as well.

Terrible company

They sent an item that was 60% lesser value than what was originally ordered. After it was returned, they failed to send the original product that was ordered. Supposedly they sent a return merchandise credit, but that was never received. Customer service is terrible - they do not care and are not willing to take responsibility for their mistakes. Stay away!

Abysmal Customer Service

Of my order I received 2 items that were either damaged or expired. After calling and requesting they be replaced, I received no follow up. After calling again, I learned that the items would not arrive in time for the baby shower and they refused to expedite shipping.

Got a crib ordered for us off our registry. It came with a huge hole in the headboard. Called for a replacement headboard which took over a month to come! Just to open the box and the new headboard is damaged as well. Its now been over two months my baby is due and I still don't have a good headboard for the crib. Customer service is a joke. They want me to mail my crib back before they will send me a refund so I can just go buy one at the store. Why to make an expecting mother feel at ease

Ordered a pricey gift off a registry and it didn't get marked "purchased". Sent 3 emails with no response then tried to call. After listening to "how important my call was" to them I finally got tired of waiting and hung up. Thank goodness I found the $900 stroller $200 cheaper on another site with no tax or shipping. Very disappointed with so few stores concentrating on baby products that this company can't seem to get the simple stuff right.

Ordered a bureau and it came in dented and broken pieces. We have contacted the manufacturer, no reply, contacted BBB no reply. Extremely disappointment in BBB, thought they were a stand up company. Will be removing all items from the registry. Definitely can find the same products at other stores. Hopefully we can get a replacement bureau from BBB, time will tell.

Ink security tag

The item ordered from Buybuybaby had a hot pink Ink security tag still attached when it arrived. After 45 minutes on the phone with customer service the best they could offer per company policy' was take it to a Bed Bath and Beyond store to see' if they could remove it or take it to Fedex to return it.
Both options are inconvenient and not customer friendly. A reputable company would've had a better solution and been more considerate of the mothers who support them.
Also in writing the review they ask for photos of the product yet the site doesn't allow for it.

Let me start off by saying I have been extremely patient with this company. I ordered a dresser for my baby's nursery end of October. When it finally arrived I had someone come over to assemble it and unfortunately one of the main pieces was broken. Yes, I was upset, but I understand that things happen, so I didn't make a big deal and just called customer service to resolve the issue. This was on November 24th. I spoke to someone and gave her ALL the information she asked for. I even sent her a photo of the exact piece with the letter/name. She assured me that I would get an email confirmation within 2days letting me know if they were going to send me just that piece or a complete new box. I gave them a WEEK and still did not receive an email, so I called again. This time I spoke to someone else. He apologized and mentioned that the girl I spoke to went out of town. So all the notes were there, but she didn't process the order. Pretty unprofessional if you ask me. He Said this would be top priority and that he would make sure I would get that piece within a few days and they would send me an email confirmation. BS I waited 2 weeks this time for an email (trying to be mindful of the busy holiday season) and called back AGAIN! Finally, someone said they would send it out and I should get it in a few days and finally the piece arrived. Sure it's only been a MONTH! At this point, I was over it, but happy the piece finally made it. I called for someone to come and assemble the dresser for the 2nd time. We opened the box and after all that, they sent the WRONG piece. How? Why? What is going on? How can you screw up so many times? They clearly don't care enough. Maybe if I wasn't so nice and patient I would have gotten their attention better? So, I already had my baby and I can't exactly leave the house now, so this has been extremely inconvenient and frustrating, to say the least. I'm done with them. I called today to return it. After that many screw ups you'd think they would feel a little bad and offer to make it right. She didn't even try to fix it. Quick to send me a Return label and get me off the phone. Horrible horrible horrible! Never again. Go elsewhere.

Don't Waste Your Time

TERRIBLE SERVICE - After three attempts to contact this company chasing an order I finally received a response. "experiencing high volumes" deal with it. Surely this isn't the first year you have experienced Christmas rush, simply not good enough.
I'll never purchase anything from them ever again terrible service.

We ordered 2 pairs of shoes and neither fit and they would not accept our return when it states on their website that they will refund or exchange within 14 days. They told me to "give them to a friend or sell them".
