Purchased a carseat online for my daughter since she outgrew it. The only reason we shopped here was because we had a gift card that needed to be used. The shipping was free and she could stay in her current carseat until it arrived. Well, my order is still "being processed" and hasn't shipped long after it was supposed to be DELIVERED! When you check on your order status there's a blurb stating that they are experiencing longer than average processing time with no other explanation. By the way, nowhere on the site did they mention this extended processing time, not until you buy something. No one is able to give me further information on my order. Just because you're experiencing longer processing times isn't a catch-all excuse to not do your job and keep your customers informed. Unprofessional and shady. Once they get your money they don't care about you. Shop anywhere else.
So I ordered a crib on August 21 and the very next day receive an email stating a cancellation which I didn't not initiate. So I respond to the email and then receive an email back telling me that due to Covid they are only responding to phone calls and live chat which they do not provide the information for either outlet. So I look up the phone number and call and am out on a 30 minute plus hold 2 days in a row and then hung up on. And once u call it gives you an option to be helped via text message. I tried that option and the first thing it did was ask for my email which is not an option at the this current time. So at this point I'm $#*!ing fuming. So then the message line asked if I want to hold my place in the que, it's a 5 hour wait but I accept because I need my crib. Then it messages me throughout the day asking if I want to continue to wait, mind you if you don't respond within 15 mins it removes you from the que. Then I receive a new wait time of 3 hours, then 8 and now there's no estimated wait time. And this message goes on throughout the night it's so unprofessional. So this is day 4 and I've currently been on hold for 3 hours and I'm livid at this point. I don't want any merchandise from them. I have completed cancelled my registry and I am sharing this review on all platforms. This is extremely unprofessional and just unacceptable. I am not a happy customer at all. This is RIDICULOUS! I know not all experiences are the same but I just wanted to share my experience which unfortunately is an extremely negative one.
My Wife bought a Fisher Price product that is packaged fine for the shelf at Buy Buy Baby, but not for E-commerce shipping. Buy Buy Baby distribution center placed the product in a polybag slapped a label on it and the Fed Ex delivery driver dropped it on our concrete front steps. Terrible packaging. My wife happens to be married to a Senior Packaging Engineer.
Over promise, under deliver. No one on the customer service line. I waited for over an hour with no response. After no assistance with customer service, I attempted to cancel the order online and finally found out, you must cancel within 30 minutes of placing the order or they WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO CANCEL. I have never heard of such a cancellation policy. How would you know that? The website contains no cancellation policy.
This company has horrible customer service. Ordered an item on the 24thbof July. It was shipped and never received. Waited a couple days to see if it would turn up. Nothing by the 5th of August called and made a claim. Was told I would receive a refund for missing item to wait 4 days. Two for them ro process and 2 for my bank to process. It's now the 16th and no refund. They do not respond to messages or calls.
Be careful before you think about ordering anything.
They will make you hate the product before even they ship it to you.
I have been waiting for my order for many days and they always say it will be delivered within 24h but in fortunately they didn't even ship it.
Don't be scam by their offers, because you will hate the moment and wish that you spent more money in state of ordering from them.
Also, the customer services is poor because you will have to wait for at least an hour to be connected to a representative than he or she will tell you the same thing in the order.
I will never deal with them again...
BOUGHT OFF THE REGISTRY FOR MY NIECE, SHE GOT TWO OF SAME THING. SPOKE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, RECEIVED FED EX SLIP. FED EX SHOWS MERCHANDISE RECEIVED ON MAY5th 2020. TODAY IS AUGUST 13th 2020! MERCHANDISE WAS RETURNED 3 MONTHS AGO AND NO REFUND? PROMISES OF REFUNDS FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE ROBOT EMAIL AND ALL LIES! 3 HOUR WAIT TIMES ON THE CHAT? SCARSDALE STORE MANAGERS ARE COMPLETELY UNHELPFUL AND LOOK LIKE LIARS ABOUT CALLING BACK AND HELPING! THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE?
I placed order beginning of June. Still have not received. I've called customer service 3 times, waiting on hold about 50 minute each time being told original order lost and new order placed and still nothing. Also wrote them an email and received instant response back that emails r not monitored regularly at this time. So if u have an issue u will have to wait almost an hour to speak with anyone and be prepared to do it more than once.
Stay far away from this company. We paid hundreds of dollars for baby furniture that arrived damaged. Impossible to get anyone on the phone. When we finally did, they told us they would send our info to the manufacturer who would get back to us in 24-48 hours. Of course, no one ever did. This company is a joke and for a company that deals with pregnant couples, should be ashamed of themselves.
After expending 4 days creating a baby registry I found out that the link is not available for buyers outside Canada or US. Call center service was terrible, they said they cant do nothing and was not their fault that I was frustrated. It doesnt make sense that people from abroad can not purchase a gift to someone in Canada. And if this is the way it is, it should be advised to moms before letting them expend their valuable time creating a registry that will not work.
Save yourself some time if you really do need/want to SAVE money. Go to Burlington 1st for sure!, Walmart, Amazon or Target. FYI: This place is no where near reasonable in price. It really sucks when you're hoping to save some time and so you search cheap or discount baby stores on Google...& places like this are listed. I hate liars. I'm surprised they are allowed to falsy advertise like that. Anyway it's not a discount store. It's a regular priced +$20 or more store just so u know.
We bought an Uppababy Mesa Infant car seat(which are not cheap by the way. $350.00). I had opened the box to get to know how to use the car seat before installing it. When we went to install the car seat we noticed that the adjustment foot of the base would malfunction when adjusting. I filled out an exchange form online through their website and made it clear I no longer had the box.
3 weeks later I get a giant box on my door step with the Original broken car seat inside, with a note that stated

Other- "Car seats and stroller cannot be opened or used."
—Tell me how I'm suppose to know if the item is broken without opening the box?
They said they have to abide by their policy and cannot exchange the item.
** Mind you throughout this process I have had to call and wait on hold for over 2 hours, 3 times.
I am so beyond disappointed with Buybuy baby and their customer service. I will never shop from there again.
Want to test your patience? Call their customer service line. 1 hour wait times?! Ridiculous! Most people calling have newborns, we don't have time to sit on hold for a century. Get it together, clearly customer service is lowest priority for this company
I ordered a crib and dresser for my Niece as a baby gift. I paid for the extra white glove $59.00 per item charge for each of the two items. Instead of delivery to the designated room, unpacking, removal of packing material and set up, the delivery persons dumped it in the garage and stated they don't do anything else. UMMM seems like a rip off to me.
I have returned an item and have not received my refund in over 3 month. I have 4+ calls in and over 8 hours on hold and still no resolution. Although it may only be $105, consumer please beware!
I am writing to say that this company is so ridiculous. I put on my registry a furniture collection that I fell in love with. The crib came damaged. NOW 3 weeks have gone by with no solution. I can either fix the piece myself or ship it back and pick a new collection because the pieces are out of stock now. What kind of customer service is this? What kind of company is this? I was told my damaged crib can be replaced, now all of sudden it's out of stock. There has to be a better resolution!
My review is for buy buy baby's extremely poor customer service. I had to return this item because it came damaged. I decided to return it at a buy buy baby store - rented a truck, drove 60 miles one way. The store initiated an online return for me and gave the tracking number for my return. For some reason two days later I received the same box, damaged even more. I understand it was an error by a shipping company. I explained the problem to the Fedex driver and asked him to take back the package so it can be returned to the return center of buy buy baby as indicated on the box. I also immediately contacted buy buy baby to notify them them about this issue and share the concern if the package would be delivered to their return center given how reluctant the fedex driver was to take it. I was advised that my package is on its way and the refund has beed issued. Fast forward, there has been no shipping progress on my return and I received no refund. I contacted buy buy baby multiple times since then, the only response I get it that my return has not reached then and it is my responsibility to follow up with the shipping company and expedite the return. I have tried contacting fedex too but without success. Here I am expecting a baby in few weeks and instead of helping buy buy baby just leaves the customer to deal with the problem. They should have taken my return at the store and issued a refund instead of initiating an online return which I could have done myself. I am very disappointed in the way such a reputable company talks and treats its customers during these difficult times.
Sucks been on hold 2 days in a row for over one hour to have them just hang up the phone today i been on hold trying to get a hold of someone for over 2 hours this is so un professional i have been trying to resolve a issue with a item i bought in November of last year which is still not resolve unsatisfied customer.
Received a damaged crib at the end of May. Took them until July 8th to pick up the damaged crib. When finally picked up, we called to get our refund. After waiting on hold for 1.5 hours, we were told they will call back after two business days because they had to get in touch with the company that picks up the damaged crib. Never received a call back so we called again a week later. Again, waited on hold for over an hour just to be told the same thing about waiting for them to get in touch with the company that picks up the crib. Never got a call back again. We have now called for a fourth time waiting on hold over an hour each time. Today we finally got through to someone and he tried to tell us to wait a day or two again. We refused and asked for management just to be put back on hold for 5 minutes and then heard the call hang up. STILL no refund and it is July 28th! Two months later! This is the worst service I have ever had to deal with.
I purchased the AILA Sit and Learn (Animal Island) for my 1 year old grandson. I was absolutely amazed at his reaction to this durable little unit and the well planned curriculum for this age group. I give this 5 stars because in our busy world for me to take the time to write this review, you know it is a great product.
