Ordered gift from Buy Buy Baby registry. It showed in stock and estimated delivery in 3 days. After a week of waiting, I checked the tracking and it then showed delivery in 3 months. I called to complain and was told the order could not be cancelled/refunded because they don't guarantee delivery. 3 months vs. 3 days! Really! I'll never order from this place again. Go with a reputable company that actually knows the meaning of customer service.
My son and daughter-in-law registered for a baby shower at that store. I placed an order for a stroller and car seat twice. Each time order will go thru, and I will receive confirmation thru email. After two days each time I received an email that the order was canceled with the instructions to place an order again. Each time I called customer service and was told that there was something wrong with the system but now it is working and to place an order again. Each time I used a different credit card and the charge was posted to both accounts. After the second cancellation, and several requests to remove charges from my accounts I give up. I ordered the same stroller and car seat from Amazon. Items from Amazon were delivered to my house in two days. I do not recommend this store, and if I can I will give it 0 stars. Very frustrating and disappointing experience.
I ordered a breast pump from them on 1/16/21. While I was on the shipping Page it said the estimated date of arrival would be 2/1/21. After I paid however it changed the eta to MAY NINTH. I'm due 3/13/21 which means I would have to go two months without my $159 breast pump! When I checked to see if it had shipped it said that it would take at least to days to show the tracking info. Its now 1/31 and it JUST showed me that my pump has been sitting in NJ for three days!
I ordered a gift on 1/15. It is now 1/24 and it seems the gift still has not been shipped. They said it had "been picked up, but not packaged " yet. If you have an intended date that you need something by, I would suggest Amazon instead.
I ordered a car seat for my Grandson, accidentally had it shipped to my address instead of my daughter's address 2,000 miles away. The box was returned to them unopened the next day. A few weeks later the car seat was back at my address and the return was refused. The reason given was that the tags had been removed. The box was returned unopened and in new condition and the return and refund was refused.
My daughter and her husband used this company for her shower registry and then purchased an expensive baby dresser from them. The dresser arrived severely damaged and she has not been able to get a hold of anyone from the company for help. They ended up having to purchase another one from Crate and Barrel. Highly recommend that company as their experience with Crate and Barrel was amazing!
This company does nothing but lie about your order you place and when you will receive. I ordered on Dec 4 and with no tracking info in a week I started calling custmer service and was told it shipped and was on the way and guaranteed to get to me between Dec 13 and Dec 23. I called every other day to make sure and was told it shipped. I get shipping info today on Dec 23 it just shipped and my grandbaby will not get his gift until Dec 30. I would of purchased from someone else if he wasnt going to get. So I was continually lied too. I filed a claim with BBB also. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY- VERY VERY DECEITFUL AND NOT HONEST AT ALL. MICHELE P
I received my original order quickly but one of the two items was broken and obviously played with. Tried to do a replacement online. What a joke! It took awhile to realize they had my order under gifts, which is wasn't and then it wanted to only give a gift card in the amount of the product but would have to have paid for shipping. I called customer service, definite language barrier, was on the phone for 30 minutes only to realize a week later that a replacement wasn't coming. Had to go through the process again, sent the broken toy back and it took another 10 days to finally get the replacement which wasn't broken this time but Definitely used!

Ordered two larger items, convertible car seat & travel system. It was Black Friday so there were good deals including $100 credit with purchase of $300+. The car seat arrived normally but the travel system kept being delayed, three separate times the delivery was delayed. The travel system arrived sooner than their anticipated date, which is obviously not a problem. I looked in my account for the $100 credit since, according to their website, it would be there was items shipped but it was not there even after I had received the items. I reached out via their customer service Chat line, was given the name of a representative that would help me shortly. I waited 2 hours before reaching out again, got a new rep who thanked me for contacting Bed Bath and Beyond (which they also own but still...) and without me explaining my problem told me my items would be there before 12/20 and that they're waiting for a carrier to pick them up. Again, I've already received both items. So once I actually explain my question, and establishing multiple times that yes I've already received it, he told me it would be a week from date of arrival that it would be credited to my account. Besides the point that it's misleading based on what their website says, according to their shipping/tracking I still haven't received my product. Will I get the credit a week from today or a week from when THEY say I received it? Who knows. I wouldn't do business here again except I have $100 credit supposedly on the way.
I placed an order online and received a confirmation date of delivery for 10 days after. However after that I kept receiving emails of the order being delayed about 2 more times. When I finally called they gave me the run around and said it would ship out soon. Almost a month later and still no delivery, they put a status of shipped but they haven't even shipped it and this I know because I contacted fedex. I called again and spoke to a "supervisor" after waiting and being transferred from person to person for over 3 hours. "Supervisor" had no knowledge whatsoever. Instead of helping me he transferred me to the store and the store told me they couldn't do anything about it because that item was an online item. So I had to call the customer service line again and be on hold for another 1 1/2 and after that still no solution. No answer as to where my order is, why it hasn't shipped, or when it will even ship.
Ordered an item as a gift from a registry. Was to delivered to her home. 4 weeks later... no gift. Spent a hour & a half with customer service. Rude, not helpful. Blamed the USPS, then COVID.
I went to the Buybuy Baby Woodbridge location and was treated so disrespectful. The cashier was on the phone throughout the transaction and was aggressive when my card would not tap. When I mentioned he didn't ned to be rude, he continued to become argumentative and delayed my exit by arguing instead of completing my transaction so that I could leave. In his angry state he dropped my daughter soother pack, cracking the package which I had to wait further for another repackage. Any time of year this behaviour is uncalled for but especially before the Christmas holiday. The store had no customers and all he had was time to provide customer service and all he did was display aggression. Aweful experience!
I ordered a gift for my nephew a week ago (one standard item) and the order still says processing. I get on chat which is clearly outsourced to India and they tell me "it should show up between the 10th and the 15th"- today is the 11th? How is the 10th even in the question so I ask for tracking... The reply- I can cancel and send you replacement... WTF? Then she ends the chat. So I get on a new chat- wait 20 minutes for a live person who tells me they apologize but it isn't cancelled and that I should just wait.
I'm sorry, wait for what? The order is "processing"- this isn't a custom item- it's a basic toy... save yourself the trouble and order off of Amazon instead.
I used Buy Buy Baby for one of my two registries and for some of my most expensive items. I ordered a dresser and a changing table on 11/22/20 to match the crib I bought. I paid for this through a gift card, through my credit card, and using a coupon. I received a message on 11/24 that I owed a balance of $30.62. I sent back an email response the next day, asking why there was balance as I had not received any information about a price adjustment. There was also a hold on my credit card for the $404.68 balance after the gift card so I knew I had given the right information. Also, if my credit card had declined the purchase then the entire remaining balance of $404.68 would have been owed and not the random amount of $30.62. In response to my email, I received another message on 11/25 with an incident status of SOLVED. Seeing this status, I thought the matter was indeed solved and checked the app for any change on the shipping date. However on 12/8 my order was cancelled with no explanation. When I called, the issue was related to this UNSOLVED problem. There were no notes on my file, no explanation for this balance, nothing the customer service could tell me to explain now this happened.
Now it is one week before my due date and I have to go out and buy new items. Although the items are available, the price has gone up and I don't have access to my gift cards, and frankly I'd rather take my business elsewhere. The good news is that I get my gift card money back. However that will be the last I spend in this store, after my family and friends spent thousands at Buy Buy Baby, unless I get adequate information about why this happened.
I purchased and returned contours universal infant carseat adapter and stroller child tray. I am owed 95.37 dollars refund through the return of this purchase made online at buybuybaby.com. I've called customer service no less than half a dozen times, gotten the service rep to acknowledge they received this return, and PROMISE to refund me the money every time, and week after week fall short on that same promise. At this point I've spend no less than 12 hours of my personal time on this matter.
The customer service reps lied to me half a dozen times, and have refused to let me speak to management.
Missing more than half my packages (alot of them) and we were told they were delivered but they hadn't. Even other replacement items because the sent the wrong items that had been "lost". I doubt we will get replacements at this rate. They failed to do on and said it can't be found or was never put in. This has been the worst registry experience including items marked at bought that wern't and items other bought not marked off so we offended people returning items that we didn't need two of.
Items couldn't be marked as bout and left on registry. We never know who purchased things, if it was a real order or marked at bought but not actually bought. We were shipped the wrong items and or missing parts peices or missing wraps and wash clothes. It was awful and embarrassing if for the couple of expesive items two strollers were bought and both people were attached to the idea they bought those for us. Because of their error it became embarrassing and hurtful to return it (only at a store credit) and they people had to be notified. Of all the experiences we have had via registrys or companies this is by far the worst.
A friend purchased a gift off our registry over 2 months ago and the item has still not been delivered (it is in-stock). I have called customer service multiple times and they have been unable to help me in that the item is still just sitting in the warehouse waiting for pickup for delivery by the carrier. I even asked if they could just swap it out for one that is in the local store and I would go pick it up but apparently that is not do-able. This is not the first issue we have had with our registry at BBB, and I certainly do NOT recommend anyone use them for their baby registry in the future. A lot of wasted time trying to track down an item, with no help from the company, while they get to keep the inventory and my friend's money. Sounds like theft to me.
