I've sent about three items to BuyBackWorld and I had very good, prompt professional service! I recommend them to anyone else wanting to sell their used or new devices!
Everything was fine but the refund check took a very long time to receive. The status online was at "Inspection" for a very long time.

It took a couple weeks but everything was legit. I would not have gotten $170 for that phone anywhere else. Plus free shipping. Well done buyback world.

I recall from way back when my experience with Buy Back World, and it was a pretty fast experience. They made packaging, shipping, and getting a check for your items selected online very easy. I probably would not have gotten the same value if I tried to sell it online myself, which saved me time and effort and dollars. I would highly recommend

Wasn't worth fixing the screen and then selling it. Much easier to send them a phone with a cracked screen and still get a decent price for it

Well over a month ago I sent a tablet and a phone and no payment like the website said in a few days. After many many emails they finally passed it on to a supervisor and said the phone had a burnt image in the screen and a broken LCD when I sent it to them it didn't have a scratch on it so I had to wait over a month for them to offer me practically nothing and now I'm fighting to get my stuff back don't waste your time with them.

10/26/18) My advice is to approach this site with caution. I made an "order" to sell them a Moto E4 (a current spec phone!) for the ridiculous price of $15. I stupidly sent the phone in & they received it on Sep 10,2018; I *finally* received a check on Oct 25 - a month & a half later! They claimed the delay was due to moving to another location. NOT MY PROBLEM. If they couldn't fulfill their business obligations, for whatever reason, they shouldn't have been accepting orders to buy or sell phones. I have to wonder how long it would've taken (if ever) to get payment if they hadn't seen one of my online reviews & replied to it. At any rate, they did eventually complete the deal; only time will tell whether the time frames will get better once they've settled into their new location. Your experiences may vary.

Like all the other reviews have stated this company never responds to any communication, even when they have your electronics. Interesting that all the reviews are 1 star or 5 star. And all the 5 star reviews have tons of exclamation points, Obviously very fake.

This is a scam. I have been waiting for my payment for TWO MONTHS. Last contact from them was "we will give you an update in two business days" after a month of waiting. I have emailed several times. Can not believe I fell for this. DONT USE THIS SERVICE, anyone who left a positive review lied.

I sent my apple watch Series 1- original box, excellent condition, no scratches on face, fully functional with power cord and power brick. I was notified on 8/22 they had received it (according to them, opened box, but hadn't yet inspected). On 9/5/18 still waiting. So, I tried email, their non-working "chat" window (you can only leave a message) and I even called (some digging to get a phone number). No responses whatsoever- just silence. What customer service and what is going on with my apple watch.
Sent my iPhone on August 1st. Got a message on August 6th that my package received. And a message on August 7th that my package has been opened and inspected. As of today, SEPTEMBER 5th I have heard NOTHING. I contacted customer service a few times only to be told that the status will be updated in 2-3 business days. Those days go by and nothing updated. I should have read the reviews before I sold anything to this company. DO NOT SELL HERE. Terrible service and nothing is done on the turn-around times that they promise. I have cancelled my sell and requested that my item be returned back to me so we will see if that happens.

I sent a device to them over two weeks ago, according to their website within two days of receiving your machine they complete the inspection and tell you if their original estimate is good. The problem is my computer has not been inspected, updated, evaluated or anything. The only time I hear from them is when they send me a canned email response. After more than a week waiting they sent me an email telling me that by the end of the day that they sent me this email, they'd have my estimate and everything ready to go. Another lie, I didn't hear from them the next day nor have I heard from them since. If you send them any of your equipment for evaluation, expect nothing, no money, not even your device sent back to you. They're either about to declare bankruptcy or they are just thieves.

I sent two items in almost a month ago and I still haven't recieved payment for either. I've gotten a few "status update" emails that were too little, too late and I was told over a week ago that I would recieve payment for one of the items in 2-3 business days... that certainly hasn't happened. Customer service has stopped responding to my emails. I've never encountered a company with worse business practices than BuyBackWorld. I've resold electronics to other companies before and had smooth experiences. I would avoid BuyBackWorld.

Additionally, we emailed you on 08/13/2018 in regards to your iPad 4th Generation being iCloud locked. In order to proceed with inspection we ask that you please remove the lock from the device. We then heard back from you on 08/17/2018 in regards to you removing the iCloud lock. Your device was then rechecked on 08/23/2018. It was found that you removed the iCloud lock so your device passed inspection on 08/23/2018 and your payment was then processed and sent out to you on the same day.
