I was adamant about purchasing quality signs after recently switching companies. I had really liked the sign posts my previous company used from Build A Sign, they were good quality and had a great steel stake. When ordering their description still shows the same steel stakes from my old signs, however they show up and are Aluminum! Who the hell thought to make a stake that get beat into the ground Aluminum! On top of that, I've been trying to get a refund for several weeks. These aren't even out of the box and they want me to pay for shipping them back and to eat 20% on the entire order!

Best Print Buy has fantastic Steel stakes that will last, their post is quality and the overall look is nearly the same. They are going to get my business and it's unfortunate after I gave Build a Sign so many opportunities to make this right.

The second photo shows how the top is already mushrooming out after hardly tapping it. It only made it 2" into the ground but I didn't want to damage it so I could return it. Good luck if you buy this garbage.

I was pleased with how much better it looked in person. The proof looked a Smokey blue and I need bright royal. The staff said they cannot make royal blue. The sign looked better than the proof.

I ordered five street signs of different designs. All arrived just as ordered and in a timely manner. I will order from BuildASign again.

Their previous website was great. But the new ownership/management installed new software, and lost my 6+ custom designs. Then I tried a new sign, and then delivered only one, when I had paid for two. And it was not per my design (red areas were to bleed to either end of sign)! So I left two voice mail messages, and an email message, but no response! DO NOT USE THEM!

19 X 9 Aluminum Sign cane out great. Sharp, clear and as I designed. Discount and free shipping is a added plus.

The sign is not what I was expecting. The material is good and the reflective on both sides excellent.
The lettering and spacing was not par. It is hard to do a good layout on the phone. I was told I would get a refund but have not yet.

I received my outdoor sign the other evening. I am very pleased with the quality of the item. I sure hope it attracts lots of kids to our FREE sports program.

I was truly surprised at the appearance and authenticity. I'm very pleased. This is the second item We have purchased. Both items are designed to last a long period of time.

I created a sign but had a few issues. Called in and got great customer service! The gentleman that I spoke with was very helpful and made a few changes for me and it turned out great! We got the sign just in time and it looked excellent! The only trouble we had was the sign would not stay on the sandwich board. So as you can see we had to add to it - along with a weight to keep it sturdy. Overall a good product and wonderful customer service.

I have worked with BuildASign for at least 10 years and have always been happy. Not this one! Every order has been a custom designed metal sign. I had this in the cart and telephoned to confirm they would not put holes in it. The rep said that wasn't possible. I told rep that it has always been an option but I didn't see available. The rep sent me link to use for the same design with no holes. I did that and then put it in the cart and paid for it. It arrived on plastic cardboard! I was told they couldn't make it without holes.

No way to edit the order or cancel it until I could fix it. Chatted online, no one answered. They said we will contact you when we are open again. They did not. I tried chatting again the next day. Nope. Now I have $350 in signs that are not what I wanted. I had to buy another sign from scratch which is not cheap. Very frustrating.

I submitted my own design for a banner and was unaware that the pictures I used had to be of a certain resolution. They called and let me know they were somewhat pixelated, I chose to use them anyway and you can barely tell. Banner looks good, will be hanging it outside soon, we'll see how it holds up to the weather.

Unfortunately, I cannot review the quality of this order at this time because you do not ship to a P. O. Box. I live in an apartment complex and delivered mail is not safe here. I had to have the order shipped to a relative in Sarasota, FL, an hour and a half away. He did receive the package at his house (behind the porch railing) in a timely manner. I will be going over there to visit this coming week and will finally receive the package. Placing the order was extremely easy!

Received 1 of 40. And was told that they would ship out the rest of the 39 after I called and informed them. Then on the second day they wanted photo of the proof of the envelope it came in after I threw that in the trash the first day.

Their non-800 number phone is disconnected. That should tell you everything you need to know.
If that doesn't stop you from using them, you need to know that any calls with post-payment problems go to some other country where their only job is to get you to hang up. They cannot and will not help. If you ask to be connected directly to the US location in Texas, they lie to you and tell you they cannot transfer the call. If you contact them by email because your order is short, they will offer to sell you what they shorted you! No kidding! Seems good on the surface, becomes a nightmare, after the sale. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Once they think they have completed your order, good luck if it isn't really complete.

The company toughts a 25% discount and FREE SHIPPING on their online advertising. The only problem with it is they adjust the price to cover the cost of the shipping. I priced is without the promotion and the sign was $14.02 and shipping was $19.95 for a total of just over $36 with tax. Then I priced it with the 25% off promotion and free shipping and the sign jumped in price from $14.02 to $31.85 and the total was just over $34 with tax - SMH! It is a deceptive way to do business.

They do not stand behind their products. The sign started delaminating after 3 weeks of being posted outdoors, spring weather, with no excessive heat or cold. The company is giving me the run around for a replacement. Truly disappointing. Is your reputation not worth $30?

This company checks all boxes! I had easy use of the website, prices are more than reasonable, they were quick to create and ship my order, and upon receiving my orders – I was blown away at the quality of my signs and how securely they were packaged. The materials were thick and sturdy, the images and letters were crisp and clear, and the colors are spot on to the website. I did have one sign where three of the numbers were on a line by themselves and the color was slightly different than the rest of my numbers. I contacted customer service via email and I was shocked to see how prompt they were in responding. Every-time I messaged back, within an hour or less I had a response. I felt as if Tamara was literally just waiting to help solve my problem. Sometimes email exchanges can get tricky because there is a lot of back-and-forth and not understanding. This was not the case with Tamara and BuildASign. I was not asked a ton of questions or interrogated. I simply stated my concern, sent a picture, and my problem was solved appropriately and immediately. I will forever be a faithful customer and send anyone BuildASigns way when they are in need of custom creations.
