We've had the top down/bottom up Budget Blinds for 2 years. To get them to go up, we have to bounce them 10 to 20 times. They have been serviced 4 times since. They keep replacing the blinds, but they all perform the same. I would not recommend these products.
We recently purchased Plantation Shutters for our new home and used the Budget Blinds franchise in North Tucson/Oro Valley area. Santana was very professional and helpful before and after our install. Her communication was timely and informative. Jeremy was incredibly helpful during the ordering process and his installation day was efficient and the shutters are amazing! We tried to talk him in to trying to fix a slat he wasn't happy with, but he insisted it be replaced! We highly recommend this team, and will use their services, again, should we need anything.
I purchased 4 rooms of Roman Shades for my new home in 2018. I "specifically" told Larry that I had purchased Roman shades for my previous home and the valances were attached by velcro which was constantly falling off and I DID NOT want that again. He assured me that would not happen with his blinds as the valances would be sewn on to the shade. Sounded good to me.
The first time they came to install shades for 2 if my bedrooms it was found that the shades were only 12 inches long. Obviously no one had checked my order before coming for installation so 2 rooms of shades had to be remade.
The next time they came to install I noticed there were NO valances at all. I was told this would be fixed.
When the installer came I thought he would be bringing shades made correctly however the fix turned out to be valances attached by velcro. When I called Larry his response was "That's what the company was willing to do". I told him I was not satisfied with that as I specifically stated velcro was a NO when I purchased these shades. He told me to "Don't get the hairs on your head standing up in a tither"! I was furious beyond words! That is not what I purchased and I said that to him. His response again was "That's the fix that the company is doing!"
So - every couple of weeks I grab a stepstool and get up there and push the velcro back where it belongs. I am irritated every time I walk by those rooms.
Also, I did not get a copy of my purchase agreement and when I asked, I was emailed a spreadsheet without signatures or even a company logo.
I will never do business with thus company again and will let everyone I know how awful they are.
Ordered Palmetto shutters from budget blinds and just got them installed. They exceeded my expectations, beautiful, quality product and expert installation by Juan Carlos and Pedro. I jusr ordered 4 more for bedrooms, i'm 100% satisfied!
Thurs. 7-29-21 was the in home consultation date. I chose blinds for the windows in 3 different rooms, and was told I would get the quote either Fri or for sure on Monday. By Wed 8-4 I had heard nothing. I called the number on her business card (shown above) and it was answered by someone at the retail location. The woman I spoke to didn't even recognize the name when I asked the Sheetal. I gave her a message that I was waiting on the quote. I heard nothing. Yesterday I remembered that when I initially called Budget Blinds (the week before the consultation) to set up a visit, I left a message and was contacted by Doreen at *******458. I called her and gave her a rundown on what I have experienced and that I haven't been able to get hold of Sheetal. Doreen stated that she would for sure get the message to Sheetal to call me and said something about them having routing issues with their phones. I have no idea how that impacts calling me with a quote, but. Whatever. I asked Doreen point blank, "when can I expect a call back"? She promised it would be this morning (8-6), Well guess what? By 1:20 PM this afternoon I called her back. I reminded Doreen that she promised a call back this morning. She said she told Sheetal about it and Sheetal told Doreen NOT to call me, and that she would call me herself. I asked why it was so difficult for me to get a quote, and again she blamed it on the phone problem. I told her that your customer service is atrocious. It will be interesting to see if I EVER get a response.
Michelle rowe called the day before my appointment for a reminder. She was on time. We picked out the shades I wanted in five minutes perfect match to my big clock. She took measurements and we talked She was very polite asked if I had more questions. She said they would be in
10 weeks They came in early the guys who were out to hang them were very friendly. They did a good job very trustworthy. They look great.
We just had Budget Blinds of West Green Bay install blinds in two of our bedrooms. Very pleased with product and the great service we received.
I cleaned my vertical blinds for the first time and the ends of the valance fell on the floor. I called budget blinds and they snapped them back on for me but they are crokked and cheap looking, especially the plastic snap on corners. The vertical slats are fine but the valance looks trashy at the ends. I cleaned the valance today and the ends fell off onto the floor. I put them back on and it looks sooo trashy. An improvement needs to be made to the quality of the valaqqnce.
I had Budget Blinds come in and do 6 windows in our house. Wish I was here when they where installing them but they are nice blinds the pull up and down ones. Just disappointed no call from them after they where done and got our money no follow up at all. Kinda upset about that. Customer service is not there thing I guess. Now I want windows in basement done so will have to find another local to come in. Trying to keep all business in Airdrie but apparently Buget Blinds just wants the money and your done. They don't care about there Customers
I was excited for my appointment today at 9am, but then a text came in going to be 15 minutes late then Bill and Erika finally made to my house I open the door to greet them of course it's COVID I don't know these sales people so I asked them where your mask and why don't you have it on? Bill reply was were done here so unprofessional and they left...
I just love the 2 1/2 " blind that Gray Owen installed in my office at home. The color fits just right.
It looks nicer than the other companies blinds. Thank you again. Very satisfied.
Getting old is for the birds! I couldn't put drapes and curtains anymore. I called Tom Hughes at Budget Blinds. Even though this COVID mess is going on, Tom came to our home, and measured for blinds. I got black out blinds in the bedrooms and landing, and room darkening on the main floor. THEY ARE PERFECT! I wish I had gotten them sooner. Easy to move up and down, and they have kept my home cooler too. Thank you Tom and son. I love my Budget Blinds.

I would have to rate this company at the lowest rating due to poor customer service. I was honest with the owner sharing I only needed to upgrade one window and because I didn't have a job worth his while, where the communication started because of the inquiry from the free online consultation, Pate said he was too busy and no more of my questions were answered. Due to his busy schedule, I was even willing to measure the window myself and to submit my order online if that was an option. This question/suggestion was also not answered. Disappointed to say the least. First impressions are lasting and set the tone for future business. In this case, no longer interested in their business since I have to spend a ton of money to get a call back.
I ordered 5 window shades and 2 shades for my french door. I was and am so distressed about the poor quality and the unscrupulous behavior of the owner.The shades are wrinkled. They hang uneven, when raised halfway. The valences, as my neighbor said, look like wrinkled paper. When * came to look at them, rather than apologize and immediately say he would replace them, he appeared annoyed at my disappointment and eventually said in an angry tone that he would replace them. The company who made the shades were willing to replace them and with a different fabric. * wanted to charge me more than the new fabric I chose because as he stated he had come to my house a few times. First time was the initial complaint when he took photos. The 2nd time, he took more photos & the 3rd time for me to choose another fabric. He entered angry and left angry, without allowing me to choose a fabric because of my questioning him about the unfair pricing. My neighbor who witnessed this attempted to talk to him, as he was leaving. He told her not to buy his shades and closed my front door in her face. He has now served me with a lean on my house for the balance.

With that name you'd think you'd get affordable blinds-nope! Poor quality merchandise too. Got three living room blinds & two pairs of shutters for my kitchen. Wish i had gone somewhere else. Pleated living room blinds sagging. Don't like the way they installed the shutters on the outside of the window frames. Should have been measured to fit inside the frames. Look bulky
We have used Blinds.com and most recently Budget Blinds. After hearing an ad for them, I decided to have them come and give us a quote. The whole process was super easy! Two gentlemen came to the house, discussed options, measured and gave us a quote on the spot. It was in line with the amount I would have paid for Blinds.com, but also included installation! We now have beautful new blinds and the only hard work for us was picking out fabrics. Highly recommend!

Used the Budget Blinds office in Mashpee, MA, I would not use them again. Came late and not prepared. Measured one window wrong.
