AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This travel agent is one of the worst i have ever dealt with.
I booked a flight through them and cancelled it shortly after. As requested by Budget Air i sent a written confirmation that i wanted it cancelled and i would only lose a few hundred pounds. 2 days before the flight i get a check in notification from the airline - budget air had not even cancelled my booking at all.
Then when i call up and ask them what happened, they said no one had cancelled it now and if i still want to cancel it will cost me almost the whole fare - leaving me hundreds of pounds out of pocket.

I have complained many times to Budget Air and no one even responds or bothers to correct the problem.

I had flights booked with budget air almost 6 weeks before my flight. 10 days before my flight, i thought i might manage my booking to see if could reserve my seats. To my horror i'd found my flight had changed without my consent. I wasn't contacted directly as i think i should have been for such a thing. My new flight was a complete inconvenience with a total flight duration of over 30 HOURS! With a stopover of over 9 HOURS!
After contacting budget air to complain about the flight i hadn't booked, i wanted to know what would proceed if i was to cancel my flight as i was not in any way at fault.
I was told i'd be contacted my management within 24 hrs. I wasn't. After 24 hrs i called back and was told i would be contacted by the end of the day. I wasn't. After 48 hours i was told i'd be contacted very soon. I wasn't. After 72 hours i called back as i was now less than a week from my flight and the issue had to be resolved immediately. Only then was i told i would have to pay a fine of $450 on my one way flight.
Do not trust them as they will lie to you until you get on that plane. Every time i called, i was placed in a phone queue for minimum 30 mins (once 1hr 12min).
They didn't troubleshoot or even try to help, in fact gave me attitude like i was a bother. WOW!

I dont usually write a feedback or comment or review but I hope you read my story so you wont experience the same ordeal we are having with Budgetair.

Last Fri, June 21,2019, we tried to book a round-trip flight feom Manila-Sydney-Manila for my family of 5.

We were lured by the cheapest price we saw at budget air. We tried many times but at the end, it said, "payment failed". We used my other credit card and got the same respond.
But to our great shock we were charged thrice! Twice in my husband's credit card which amounted to P250K or $5000 and in my credit card amounting to P50k or$1000.

Weve been contacting budgetair thru call and email since Monday, June 24,2019 but they said we dont have a booking even if we sent our credit bill. Add to our dismay is that even if we emailed them soo many times, we didnt get any reply and they said they didnt receive any of our emails.

We even tried their online customer service but it kept saying, "oopps system failed"

Please we need help. If anyone here had experienced this very stressful, heartbreaking, painful experience from Budget air, please let us know what to do. We are pushed on the wall. We dont know what to do. We dont know where to go because i dont even know if they have a physical office in India.

The sad part here is our flight is next week and yet we cant book another ticket.

Thank you and i hope no one will use and trust this site EVER again! Please learn from our bad experience, read reviews. We should have done it first. And now we are paying this painful price.

SCAM DONT EVER BOOK!
I made the simple mistake of mixing up my flight days. After two days of panicking and countless unanswered calls I finally got through to an agent. The hold time was over 45 minutes and the call immediately dropped. I called back and the lady told me she would call back and never did. I requested a change online and wrote 3 emails. Budget air had me frantic as I am stuck across the world and not able to reach them. They wont refund me and I had to drop another $1000 on flights from a different company due to the lack of care and customer service. I'm disgusted as I've heard no reply and will be filing a claim. For your sanity STAY AWAY BUYER BEWARE. Scam and untrustworthy

I have cancelled my flight with them and I have bought their premium package which says that in case of cancellation you get a full refund.
When you call them ( they put you on hold for 45 minutes) they say no sir this is not included in the premium package. And also please contact Air canda to refund the ticket.
Air Canada refunded the ticket to them since December 2018 and till now They say they have not received it.
I called them today they say please call us later because the fiance team is not there.
They dont even bother to call you, they just send standard email saying waiting for the refund from the airline.!
WORST EVER!

The 22nd of may, I booked my flights tickets, one way from wellington to Hong Kong the 10th and Hong Kong to Brussels for the 15th of june. I payed 2 insurances to make a chage possible with no fees, total: 503,98 euros.

Today (31st of may) I call them, asking to change the dates of my reservation, my stay in Hong Kong has been cancelled so I wanted to fly from Wellington to Brussels the 13th instead. For that change they asked me to pay 625 euros (included 35 euros for the company fee). Total of my one way trip: 1128 euros (and i'm not flying with AirNewZealand but with a cheaper company with less comfort)! Flight tickets no refundable. When I am checking the prices of flights the same day, the price is 2 times less than that, with less stops. Adding this, I had lot of trouble with their website to pay online.

I definitely not recommend Budgetair otherwise you will burn your budget and loose your time.

Absolutely disgusting customer service everything about the airline is shocking website was down and wrong flight time booked tried contacting their customer service whom do not service their customers was spoken to rudely and told to get airline to message them airlines said budget air should know the procedures and it's againsr policy to get them to message! I then emailed as budget o air asked me to and for ignored for days until it was to late! They are called budget for a reason and they are not worth it

Their IATA liscence belongs to another company - everywhere says they are a scam.

We booked and both Claire and I tripled checked booking before paying. Without doubt our RETURN TRIP from UK was 17th July. We have just printed e-TICKET as we fly to UK on Saturday. To our HORROR the ticket reads 17Th June! We phoned to change flight - the woman was rude, evassive and unhelpful - they want R26 000 from us to change flight to what we origonally booked. Its also by the way more than the actual return ticket! THIS IS FRAUD! WE CANNOT AFFORD THAT and may have to stay behind in South Africa and miss my neice's wedding.

There are not enough words to describe how terrible this company is. Their customer service is atrocious. Their communication is awful. They straight up LIE to you. We booked through Budgetair and were put on West Jet flights. Flight went from 15 hrs to 55 hrs, West jet said yes of course we will refund you but Budget air has to call us. We received an email that said hey your flight schedule has changed and then the only available option on the email was to confirm the change THE EMAIL DID NOT SHOW THE NEW ITINERARY so we had to confirm in order to even see that? So they trapped us. Budget air said they did call and that the refund was declined (West Jets policy states that any flight changes THEY make over 1 hour in difference trumps the non refundable rule) so they lied to us. Second time, they said that West jet had to call them, or email them, or supply them with a waiver that confirmed this policy... like what?! West Jet said, no uhm they need to call us as THEY are your travel agents. So I said hey Budget air dude, do you think you could please call them again? Now that they have added all these notes on our file stating why our flight was changed (because they had to land 13 Max 8 planes which is no ones fault) and he said No. Neat, thanks for not even pretending you care about your customers.

I have a concern with my booking as it was falsely advertised that my baggage allowance would be that of the airline allowances, however, once I received confirmation this was not the case. I specifically chose this flight to have 2 checked bags included per ticket but my confirmation claims I only have 1. I contacted the airline and they said the flight I have booked includes 2 checked bags but Budget Air is not reflecting this. I have called and emailed as per Budget Air's request and have not had the matter solved nor have I received a response. The woman I spoke to, who changed her name on different days from Karen to Susan, was rude and kept interrupting when I spoke rather than listening to what I had to say, hence why I know it was the same person. I asked for a manager to call back within 24 hours which did not happen. I also requested a refund and again this has not happened. I have contacted them 6 times regarding this matter, and once I was even hung up on. The customer service does not exist with Budget Air. I just want the baggage allowance to reflect the airlines policy rather than having to pay a ridiculous $240 per bag or a full refund so I never have to deal with this company again. I would never recommend Budget Air to anyone or use again.

The took 350 pounds plus off me for flights in India with jet airways who I have since discovered were trading while insolvent. Budget air made no attempt to recover my money nor to ensure that the tickets they were issuing were going to be valid.
Their customer support is useless, their web support non existent and yet Skyscanner and Kayak etc still include them on their platforms, how many of us have to get ripped off by these thieves before the travel industry cleans up its act?
