I repotted the plant yesterday and placed it by the window that gets afternoon sun. It dropped a few more leaves once I repotted it but I am hoping that it will thrive by the window with the afternoon sun. I am quite familiar with how finicky ficus trees are and I am hoping that I don't have to throw this one away

I ordered and paid for a dwarf Cavendish banana tree, 3-gallon with warranty. I received a dwarf Cavendish banana tree in a 1-gallon pot. Something like $30 price difference? I called customer service, would be happy with a refund of the difference but instead got a new tree shipped to me. I had the new tree less than a week after I called and it was a beautiful banana tree in the 3-gallon pot. So many more leaves, it is beautiful and I'm happy.

My delivery was badly damaged. The box was crushed and the plants were badly damaged. I called, they asked me to send them phictures and a replacement shipment was sent out the next day. Very pleased with the service!

A friend of mine purchased a monstera on your website and made the recommendation to purchase on for myself. I saw that I could actually get a two-pack of 3-gal Monstera for an additional discount. I planned to give one as a gift and keep the other for myself.

Unfortunately, the shipping instructions were not respected by the delivery company and the long narrow box that clearly said "lay flat" arrived standing up on one end. Upon opening the box, I found the monsteras were placed head-to-head and the two plants ended up crushed into one another inside the box on one end. There were no precautions or protection provided to prevent movement of the plants inside the box, which quite frankly, is shocking given this business is all about shipping plants.

Each 3-gal pot was wrapping in a plastic bag to hold in dirt and moisture. I assessed both plants and found not only shipping damage on the leaves but the plants had been heavily watered prior to shipping so there was additional rot damage that started to present on the leaves.

Let's discuss the leaves. I had seen the large mature plant my friend purchased which prompted my own purchase. The two plants I purchased had small leaves and minimal fenestrations and were not at all what was presented on the website. I realized immediately I no longer had a gift and I would be committed to intense rehabilitation for both plants. I have been monitoring and pruning back damage for weeks now. Disappointing does not cover it.

I ended up going to a local nursery and for the same price bought a mature monstera that was twice the size for the gift for my friend. Therefore the discount applied at the time of purchase still makes plants of this size and this age (very young) overpriced.

Overall, this experience has me hesitant to purchase any plants - indoor or outdoor - from BrighterBlooms.

Item arrived earlier than expected and I planted it ASAP. It is still growing and green. It arrived alive and healthy with green leaves already on it. Very happy with product and I can't wait until it starts to flower. Great seller!

Coffee plant may be dying

I am happy with my order besides the coffee plant I bought. All the leaves turned brown which I read means it had too much sunlight so I moved it and hope it recovers. If not o may need to return it.
