I am never using Bridgecrest, or carvanha ever again. I financed my Ford, it's a beautiful brand new Ford, and I love it, however Bridgecrest and carvana are the worst. They disappointed me twice and I will never use from them again. First disappointment was that when I was laid off from my job during Coronavirus, they refused to help me, when Chrysler Financial deferred are payments for 2 months with no questions asked for our other car. They refuse to help me when I was never late on a payment. Secondly, when I try to make a payment, it took the wrong payment method and did not allow me to choose a new payment method, so when I call their customer service to cancel the payment and make a new payment using a different payment method, they refused. So yes, never again would carvana or Bridgecrest, for my next car I'll just get it from a local dealer

Terrible company shows its ugly face during COVID times. No help whatsoever, charges your credit card without telling you it's a cash advance, and has no mercy to help people who have lost their jobs, only looks to add more and more interest. Stay away, go to your local bank, wish I did.

AVOID AT ALL COST
April 22, 2020

They won't work with you in the midst of the Covid pandemic. Everybody I know had work out some type of payment "deferral" but no no no Bridgecrest just refuse to help. What a horrible company to deal with.

In the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic I requested to have a payment put on the end of my loan. They did it last month (March) but won't do it again for this month (April) nor will they refinance my loan with them. Mind you, up until last month I had a stellar repayment record! Bridgecrest STINKS! DON'T USE THEM!

Bridgecrest is terrible and if you can avoid doing business with them you should. To start, they have one of the worst customer service centers I've ever been in contact with. I made a payment online and 8 days later it still did not process. I spoke with my bank who said the funds have not yet been processed on Bridgecrest end. When I called Bridgecrest, customer service had no idea when the payment was processed only that it posted on the day that I paid. They said they had no way of getting in touch with anybody to let me know when or if the payment had actually processed on their end. Customer service was quite nasty and in general they do not go out of their way to try to help customers at all. For example, one month I was going to be three days late on a payment and they have no grace period and continually charge you interest per day until you pay. In addition, during this pandemic they are not deferring payments at all. And they are making phone calls regularly asking people to make payments, which is just poor business. They are quite inept and rude. I was happy with the service at Carvana, had I known that this would be my experience with Bridgecrest I would not have purchased from them

I purchased a car through Carvana a few months ago and financed through Bridgecrest, who keeps sending me emails every other day about how to locate and spend my stimulus check (i. E., pay them). I use AutoPay and I've never been late. My credit score is in the high 700's and my APR is 4.65. I hate being treated like a subprime ripoff artist. (. Remember, you have to pay us! Don't forget your car payment is due! Use your stimulus check for you car payment!) JFC, shut up already. What your customers do with their stimulus checks is beyond your control, and moreover, it's not your concern.

You know, I've been there-- in my 20's my credit score at one point was 385. Stop treating people like they already can't pay back their loan. Especially in this crisis. Good lord. Shame on you.

I can't wait to refi with a real bank that respects-- not harasses-- their customers. I'm sorry for all the people that don't have the ability to do this. You deserve to be treated better.

I have been with Bridgecrest for over 2 years - I honestly think this company is very lenient when it comes to payments and credit reporting. Yes, they give high interest rates but I plan on refinancing as soon as my credit gets better. There was one time when I had to skip a month and told them I would be making a late payment (literally 60 days late) and they allowed it without reporting me to the credit bureau. I almost always pay 15 days late (due to my pay day schedule) and they are completely fine with it. I have seen other reviews that post about Bridgecrest harassing them, but you can easily tell them to put you on the do-not-call list, and they will do so. If you have a stable job and consistently pay your car note every month, you shouldn't have an issue with them.

I really don't understand how come the USA government allows this kind of scam artist can do business. FBI should investigate their cheatings. There are dangerous traps are hidden on the contract papers and the problem is their underwriter does not explain about hidden daily rates when buyers sign the contract. Their daily interest plus yearly interest are x5 times bigger than the original loan amount. Buyers cannot imagine it before the signing contract, who can imagine? People do focus only on yearly rates when buying cars. Bridgecrest and Drivetime are criminals. We need to sue them together.

A week ago I called and a representative advised me that I had two options one was a deferment and the other an extension but that I could not do it until a day before my due date. I call back the day before my due date and all of a sudden " oh your account is not eligible for a deferment" we can do a 14 day extension. I advised them to pull the call and then was told, "Oh I don't know why you were told that because that's not available." I have NEVER been late or missed a payment but due to income being furloughed, I need a one month deferment and these hogs won't even allow that! So then I am told oh well call back toward the end of your 14 day extension and we'll see if your account is eligible. That's straight up bs, they do not give two cents of helping defer a payment which could help a lot. I do not have a stimulus check because it will be mailed and that won't happen anytime soon but they want to put all sorts of info on their site of "what to do with your stimulus check" stay the hell out of people's business, perhaps they have to keep the lights on and food on the table!

Heartless scammers
April 15, 2020

This has to be the most outrageous thing I have ever experienced in my life after calling for two weeks to get an extension on the payments due to the pandemic and told to make the payment once stimulus checks were received these cold heartless snakes took the car at 12:36 am this morning and fed be a bunch of lies! I called this morning they tell me no matter what happened because the loan is new there is nothing I can do so after 1600 down the drain and countless hours on the phone with paperwork sent and phone records they tel me there is nothing they can do! I'd never in life think a company could be this shallow. I hope that this place goes bankrupt and nobody ever gets a car from them again! This was illegal telling someone they got an extension then taking the car! No way they should ever be in business sorry drive time but you do business with a bunch of devils

Waking up to receiving another email from them saying the stimulus check should be deposited today. Second or third one this week. They're reminding me to pay them yet again even though the bill isn't due. After reading the comments. I will definitely be looking to refinance with another company. They truly care about their customers. I do and will not spend my money. With a company that don't care about their customers. All they want is money. NOT GOOD SERVICE!

DISGUSTING company!
April 14, 2020

My car was taken after being 20 days late on ONE payment due to the pandemic. Seems to be a ton of this happening. Not sure how a company can do such a thing in the middle of a pandemic. You should be ashamed of yourself!

Horrible Business
April 14, 2020

We are in a middle of a pandemic and this company has the nerve to call and harass people who have been laid off for a payment. It's sad because there are hundreds of finance companies actual making calls to defer payments versus harassing people who are already stressed if they can eat tomorrow. This company should be ashamed of themselves.

I just got another email from them saying the stimulus check should be deposited today. They're reminding me to pay them yet again even though the bill isn't due. All this company wants is their money. They don't care that the economy has stopped. Backing off or reducing the bill for a month or two would solve a whole lot of problems. It's a cold-hearted greedy company that I wish I wasn't involved in.

Annoying but ok
April 11, 2020

Let me start off by saying how much they harass. Ugh it's so bad! I technically owe a certain amount every month but the payment schedule is every 2 weeks. 1 day past and the phone calls begin. I'm talking about 5 a day starting at 8am. My voicemail is full with their messages. But, in their defense, I spoke to a lady about that and she said those calls just get put through/ automated).
Now, on a better note, they've been more than understanding with our situation. My husband ended up hospitalized twice in a years time frame and they bent over backwards to let arrangements and deferments. Not sure if it's because I owe 4 times more then my cars blue book value or if it's because they're that nice. Lol
All in all, they're a pain in the neck when it comes to their phone calls, interests rates are ridiculous(I DO have low credit), but in my opinion they've been understanding and very helpful.
Please do change the constant harassing phone calls during BUSINESS hours though!

With the number of employees out of work you think they would defer a payment but they won't. Record year for repossessions on the way.
