If I could go back in time I would run from them, the worse companies ever, they are full of it, they wanted to charge me $500 dollars for a late fee I had this loan for two years and never late in fact paid more then my payments each month, they said my bank sent a nsf back to them but I have $5000 in my account, so I talked to my bank and they said they never gotten any thing from them, so I call bridecrest back and told them what my bank said she said she doesn't care what they said and for me to get a prepaid card and pay my bill. If I knew what to do I would give this car back to them and tell them where to go. Don't get a loan from these cracks they don't car about customs only money.
Did what was expected. They were always professional and polite. They deferred my loan during covid before I even asked which I was going to ask. I payed the car off with zero issues. I was very satisfied with this company.
I got a car through them and was charged 3x more than the value it was my first Vehicle purchase so I didn't know what I was getting into. Couldn't access my account online cause they messed up on my information and never would fix it so I was charged extra 3 dollars ever payment for their mess up but they didn't care. To top it off I was gonna pay the pay off on it and they tried adding more to the loan then what was left owes on the car. The car has made noise under the hood since the day after I brought it home. Listen to all the reviews its 100% honest!
All the reviews that seem like real life stories are most likely true. Any review stating this company is good, or their products (vehicles) are worth buying is a straight up lie. The most awful scams I've ever had the misfortune of falling for.
This company wont do anything to help you. I told them I was furlowed because of COVID-19 and needed maybe 2-3 more days and i would have the money from unemployment. I had 0 income and all my bills were behind. The only offered to refinance AFTER making a payment of at least $1700, or pay off the full amount of $15k. The only thing I needed was a few days. Literally,. I got repo'd, then a $5k deposit from unemployment. Now my credit is screwed.
Drivetime/Bridgecrest gave me a chance when no one else would because I had no credit. If I was ever a few days or even a few weeks late all I had to do was pick up a phone and call. They changed my due date when I changed jobs even got me into a new car when I totalled the first one. Now I'm paying of my second car with them this week and just co signed on a third one for my aunt. Great company!
I have had my car for 3 years. It was my choice to use them. They WILL work with you on payments. Looking back, I should not of made such a quick decision. The interest is high as heck... but again MY decision to use them. The term is 6 years, but these are all choices I mad going into it. The cars are great, payment system is super easy. Overall if you have a small down payment and not so good credit, I would suggest them to build your credit. My score has went up from the reporting that they do. I read through the reviews - the people who wrote negative reviews about being repoed just do not know the law. They follow all laws and as long as you stay in touch you are in it to win it! -
They have horrible service and received a payoff check in amount of over 13,000 dollars and literally repo'ed my car because I owed $100.13. So ridiculous, didn't even give me a heads up that it was happening. And this is the second car I paid off with them.
I purchased a vehicle from them that does not appear to have working airbags. I have sent them a letter and stopped paying. I bet this will end up in Court.
During this pandemic I've lost my full time job. The only job that paid me enough to pay my car. Back in June when I officially lost it I called telling them I lost my job and that I will be working side jobs to pay as much as I can. I paid $100 last week because that's all I had In my pocket. I woke up this morning. No phone call. No email. Nothing. I walked outside to get paperwork to my new job I finally got and my car was repoed. I called them explaining once again I lost my job due to covid and I've been making small amount of payments to keep my car for this job. They told me good luck on my job and I won't get my car pack unless I have $1,500 to pay them. I'm not even suppose to be paying as much as I am for a 2012 Kia Sportage. It's suppose to be less. And I even told them in the paperwork the amount I'm suppose to be paying. They told me there's nothing they can do to change it. The customer service was horrible. They were rude. I've lost everything due to covid. That car was all I had.
Leased a car from Drive time 7 days later car has major mechanical issues, wanted to return car asking for a full refund of down payment, they stated that there is no refund and that its still going against your credit as a repo.
This company is Horrible and I plan on going to court
Anything to do with this so called company sucks. All the negative reviews are truthful. If I knew what it would be like dealing with them and drivetime. I would've never gotten a car from them. Drive time seem like a bunch of scammers that pay mechanics to fix up the car to be at least in running condition at the time of purchase. After you purchase it, it's down hill from there. You're better off going somewhere else
I contacted bridgecrest on last Thursday to set up a payment arrangement for the 1st. They helped me and they assured me nothing is going to happen to my car. I never been late in 6 months since I financed my car through them. I also called them yesterday to make sure my account is ok, there are no problems. I've seen so many people complaining about this company. It's called picking up a phone and talk to them about your situation.
Never missed a payment and have never been late, 35 weeks pregnant and high risk have been on bedrest for almost two months using my savings to make payments, I asked for one deferred payment and they refused, I explained my situation and offered my doctor to fax over proof of bedrest and they still refused! Said deferment is not being offered at the time even though the website says it is!
Horrible customer service, I wish I would of done my research before dealing with this company. They don't offer extensions even though its states that it does especially during this pandemic. Just stay away.
Buyer Beware, WHAT A RIP.! This company preys on people with BAD or NO credit and just RIPS them off. Like the Financial housing bubble in 2008 with the banks.
You might get a crappy car but you'll pay forever. Their business practices are based on ripping as much money out of you as possible and fulfilling THEIR American Dream. You might be better off to go to a corner Title Loan Company.
I tried to pay off a loan and they make it so difficult and charged so many fee's and sent me in various directions to pay. I was sent to Walmart with 10K in Cash and they ( WALMART) were so confused I left. Then they gave me the option of paying by CC but only 3K at a time with a 3$ fee. ( They gotta RIP you for the interest) I asked for a TOTAL payoff number which they gave me and I sent a Cashiers Check ( make sure it's registered mail) and then got a call that the amount DID NOT include interest, so they dinged me for another 1000. 00$ before I could get the title. I guess they don't understand what TOTAL payoff means.
The customer service department should be called the Moron's in Customer Service Department, a bunch of idiots reading from a designed script designed to send you in circles.
Very Very BAD company to do business with... BUYER BEWARE!
I work for the company that owns bridgecrest, and have recently gotten divorced. I attempted to reach out to them because I am a type 1 diabetic and had to make a choice to pay my car loan or pay for my insulin, I requested a 1 month deferral in order to not miss a payment even though I'd still end up being charged interest. They told me to get lost essentially. They care more about 300$ then they do about all the money I make them working on and getting vehicles ready for sale. Love the main company but there financial department is absolutely heartless. Will no longer be recommending people use our in home financing. Make sure you go through your bank
Please if you can help it do not get a car loan from them. If you are in dying need then do so but please refinance. This is my first encounter with this company and I would rather go back to the first car loan company I had when I was 19 yrs old. So if you have bad credit, yes you can get a car. But listen to me. Work so hard on your credit, because you need to refinance asap. I am counting down the months to refinance. I will not deal with this company.
60 month loan with 4 payments left. Have paid on time each month and asked for a 1 month payment deferral due to excessive auto repair expense.
Denied... even though it is offered on their Website.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Better ones out there. Trust me.
Answer: I was a partial payment late and they will take your car. If you get bridgecrest have a garage
Answer: Cars depreciate very quickly. One of the dumbest financial decisions a person can make is spending a shit ton of their income on a vehicle. Expensive cars aren't worth it. Nobody needs leather seats or separate climate controls. And it's not like you're buying one vehicle for the rest of your life. Quit looking at cars as status symbols and save your 8K for something else.
Answer: 90 Days...
Answer: Call them to come get it...,...
Answer: Not a question... perhaps you could attempt making a free payment online on the website?
Answer: I'm sueing them and that's that. And they should be closed down
Answer: Try your local credit union. They love to undercut the interest rates, and can generally be a little more lenient because they get their money through payroll deductions, meaning they get paid first.
