Called them mid month asking for relief and was told have to call back closer to the actual due date. So called day before and all they keep saying is well your getting the stimulus payment aren't you? Made how many past payments on time and they won't work or help you. Worst company. I had a loan through Wells Fargo Dealer services and they were more understanding and looking to make sure people survived, and here wasn't even a pandemic going on!
Bridgecrest is totally trash
I paid on time since 2018 and was behind this year because of covid.
I kept them up to date as for when I was starting back working. They didn't call or anything, they came to repo my suv. The lady said they couldn't call me because I filled bankruptcy in 2018. Even though I did not put them on the bankruptcy, I guess I should have. They are terrible. I wouldn't go back to them if they were the last company on earth.
During pandemic this company is the worst. I was only 100 past due after paying on this car for 2 years on time and the full monthly payment owed, every month. In the beginning of the pandemic I was laid off had to make my payment 100 short ( they got the rest) these A... Called me 3 times a day for several days in a row. They have done nothing to help anybody during the pandemic. This company sucks. They have do many lawsuits against them.
I bought a car back in October 2019, never had an issue with them. Pay every two weeks but I don't do autodraft, never liked it for any of my bills. If I forget, they will call and let me know. A little too much but I get it, I forgot. When COVID happened, the stimulus money emails seemed cold. But everyone wants their bill to be the one paid. Customer service has always been friendly. The one time I needed an extension, I called and it was worked out, my extension was a direct result of COVID. After the extension, everything went back to normal. Seems like an okay company to use for a car loan. There are better for sure but if you are building/rebuilding your credit, these guys are good. Far worse companies than them to deal with.
I've honestly never had an issue with this company, likely because I set up autopay and pay monthly. They don't need to harass me because I'm never in arrears. (Although I do hate the fact that I have this ghetto company as a creditor on my credit report-- my scores are in the mid-high 700's across the board, and my APR is 4%. It's embarrassing because I'm not a subprime customer.) I wish Carvana had a different finance company for better-qualified buyers. Also, I bought a little one-owner Japanese subcompact with 20K miles on it, not some douchey muscle car or GM garbagemobile with 110K and six previous owners. For the people complaining about their $#*!cars breaking down, don't blame the finance company! Don't buy a car based on how it looks and/or the color. Take it to a mechanic within the 7-day window for an inspection-- don't take Carvana's word for it, they just want to sell the car. Do your research and make informed choices.
I called Bridgecrest today as a follow-up to Capital One. I have been approved to refinance with Capital One. I am getting my payment lowered by $107.00 dollars monthly and a much lower interest rate. I called Bridgecrest to see if they received payoff the rep stated no. I said okay have they reached out she stated yes and got our address to send the check. Then the Rep says I see you have a car payment due I said YES on 12.26.2020 the day after Christmas. She said make sure you pay it. It wasn't what she said it was how she said it. I am so happy to be rid of them. If I would have know that Carvana deals with just them better knows as Drive Time, prior to that the Ugly Duckling I would have never dealt with them. Please shop around before doing business with them it is not worth it.
Terrible company stole $396 from me! They will not pay me back without a statement from my bank saying they took my money!
They came repossessed my car ok I get it I couldn't make the payment in full and I was behind! However now they have moved it to the auction 1 day after they took it and it hasn't even been 10 days! Now I gotta drive 2 hours to get it back on top of that I paid it 2 hrs ago they told me it can take 3-4 hrs for the paperwork to make it to the auction place! Call the auction they tell me I gotta make an appointment after they receive the release verification! Well why I gotta make an appointment if I paid in full as asked I should be able to come today and get my car! Bs I say bs! I had to Uber the last week and literally took all my money to get this car back to find out I mayn't get it back til MONDAY TODAY IS FRIDAY! I can't wait til I get this car paid off I didn't know no better but drive time will never get my recommendation period! I'm over Bridgecrest at this point! I just want my car back and I'll never fall behind on my payments again! Lesson learned!
This company does not work with dealerships that guarantee quality vehicles. The dealerships that Bridgecrest works with will sell you previously damaged cars that has been in floods and accidents. Bridgecrest will not inform you when your warranty is expired and they will not lift a finger to help assist you with repairs or an extended warranty. They won't even honor a payment arrangement to assist you with getting the vehicle repaired. But they will do everything they can to ATTEMPT to damage your credit by adding late payments so that you have issues trading the car in. They try to lock you into the negative equity car loans so that you will pay them more interest and less on the actual pay off price of the vehicle. The employees of the company are rude and don't even keep a notation of your calls/concerns. AVOID DRIVETIME, CARVANA & BRIDGECREST if you actually want to own a vehicle that you paid for one day!
Can't pay my car note if I have to keep fixing on the vehicle every 2 weeks/ every month. I'm talking it's alway hundreds of dollars to be fixed and I believe they knew it was something wrong with this vehicle, I have been having issues since the 7day I got this 2013 GMC Terrain.
I have on recording a call where Bridgecrest said they would not give me bad credit and not to worry about my payments during Covid after losing my job temporarily. This was towards the beginning. The next month I got bad credit from them (late pay). I called and asked to speak to a manager and escalate. I asked them to listen to the recording of the call on their end. They said if I dispute it they will remove the bad credit. 3 weeks later they took my car. End of story.
Money hungry disgusting company. No Covid relief! Just trying to move two payments to no avail! I'm in shock at their lack of caring and unwillingness to be flexible in these times.
I had a 100% on time payments, I had an accident and my car was totaled, I continued to make payments. My insurance payed them out and I cancelled my payment they said I still owed some money and Now after I paid them off they are still marking my payments as late.
My Family was quarantined due to a COVID positive test Harris County send a lettter to our home we are not allow to leave 14 days no in come missed one payment of 235 and I was reposted at 2 am. Called and the lady said we can't help
Got stuck with these punks because they purchased my loan. EVERY SINGLE MONTH they send my statement/payment voucher/envelope LATE and changed the timing of my payment. TI receive it only or around the 12th, and they say my payment is late beginning the 8th! After many months of asking for the stuff sooner, calling several times to try and fix the problem, they not only do not FIX THE PROBLEM, but make a FALSE CLAIM to CREDIT BUREAUS saying my payment was late. EVERY SINGLE MONTH I have to wait, they put LATE CHARGES also. ON TOP of that, they told the credit companies I was 30 days late, which has never been the case even with their shoddy logistics. Called several times, wrote several times, NO HELP and NO CHANGE, and all this through COVID! BEWARE of dealing with these clowns, and if anybody wants to file suit against them I AM WITH YOU.
This is the WORST car loan I have had. Too high in pricing... too high in interest. They only care about how you paying them even inspire of COVID 19. Many of did lose jobs due to Covid... especially those of us in the school systems.
Bought a car through Carvana and that part was fine. I knew i was fixing my credit so the HIGH intrest was something I knew I would have to suck up.
However, after a year of payments I refinanced to a normal rate with another lender. That is when the crap show starts. They acknowledged another lender contacted them for payoff, new lender said check was sent, etc. But Bridgecrest would NOT back down, said I had to make another payment or they would report it as delinquent. I even asked for some consideration, referencing they KNEW a payoff was issued already. NOPE! Then the check has cleared and posted to my account, THEY ARE STILL CALLING SEVERAL TIMES A DAY!
So frustrating, it's like a bad breakup and they don't want to loose my high intrest.
NEVER do business with them if you value your finances.
I brought a car through caravana. I haven't had it a year and the motor already gone, remind you I had no check engine light to come on. The car just started smoking from my exhaust. I took it to two places to be certain and both places said the motor was gone. They said it would cost 8k to get it fix. The worse experience ever. Bridgecrest should make sure they are buying the best cars
Will not work with you i was 12 days late do to some fraudulent activity on my account and wS goingbto be paying it all in one day. They repoed the car left me stranded and did not care if I had a rude home. I called and talked to them they would not take a payment or work with you. They said no and would not be able to get the car back. Not a happy customer.
Purchased a car 2 years ago with this company making payments on time three 3 months close from paying the vehicle off was made my last payment and the car was repossessed contact the office they tell me that my account was closed all the way in may didn't know didn't get no notice or anything then on top of that they tried to charge me an extra $2000 to get it out repossession this company is a complete ripoff and the customer service it terrible and Unacceptable this company needs to get completely shut down!
Answer: I was a partial payment late and they will take your car. If you get bridgecrest have a garage
Answer: Cars depreciate very quickly. One of the dumbest financial decisions a person can make is spending a shit ton of their income on a vehicle. Expensive cars aren't worth it. Nobody needs leather seats or separate climate controls. And it's not like you're buying one vehicle for the rest of your life. Quit looking at cars as status symbols and save your 8K for something else.
Answer: 90 Days...
Answer: Call them to come get it...,...
Answer: Not a question... perhaps you could attempt making a free payment online on the website?
Answer: I'm sueing them and that's that. And they should be closed down
Answer: Try your local credit union. They love to undercut the interest rates, and can generally be a little more lenient because they get their money through payroll deductions, meaning they get paid first.
