I booked flights for my family to travel from Syd to Christchurch in late December 2014. Unfortunately my wife was hospitalised for 2 weeks prior to Christmas as she has incurable, secondary cancers. Despite countless calls and emails with Bravofly during an extremely stressful time, they continually screwed up in many ways (e.g. Got the wrong Christchurch in the wrong country, got the wrong destination, got the wrong dates) and refused to take responsibility for their mistakes, nor attempted to rectify the problem satisfactorily despite complaint emails and calls.
Their 24 hour customer service line went unanswered, or were answered by people with poor English. They didn't answer my queries, kept on getting my simple flight request change wrong, and ignored requests (like the option of cancellation). Despite contacting them well over a week before we were due to fly out, I was still on the phone and emailing with them less than 12 hours before my flight. I ended up having to cancel my ticket (and only get <40% refund) despite me asking for this option many many times before. This was potentially the last overseas family holiday with my wife so I am extremely angry at their handling of this.

I wanted to buy ticket from Sofia to Palma de Mallorca and it cost €250. When I pressed the button to confirm I got a message that the price has changed to €125. I was quite surprise but I still proceeded with the reservation. After finalizing the reservation I got an e-mail that I have to wait for confirmation. 2 hours later I got an email that the reservation cannot be confirmed because the price of the ticket is €125 higher and I have to pay the rest. They sent information about the paid-by-creditcard-phone (see other reviews), it was already too late and I decided to leave it for the next day. In the morning I receive a call from a girl asking for credit card number, expiry date and the 3-digits on the backside. When asking about other options to confirm/pay she told me that there's no other options but leaving my credit card details by phone. I had to cancel the reservation as this looks way too fishy!

Do not recommend

Do not recommend. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Unfortunately due to personal issues I am no longer able to take my flight to Melbourne next Sunday. I have rang countless times in attempt to cancel my flight and receive the little money back that I can, only to be put through to a members of staff who speak very little english with poor reception and be given empty promises that my money would arrive soon. I have now received an email saying I will receive my credit note from Bravofly which I did not ask for. I specifically asked for my money back. I do not wish to book through this company again due to poor communication and disorganisation therefore certainly do not want a credit note. Appalling

The worst company on the face of the earth - avoid like the plague.

I need to change a name on a booking - I have been trying to do so for weeks as my wife and I got married and she lost her passport so the booking is in her maiden name. The airline asked for marriage certificate and passport. I sent to Bravofly - they did NOTHING, absolutely nothing with it. Every time I call the customer service is appalling, they lie, they put the telephone down on you and prior to that lie some more. I have asked to speak to a manager for weeks and weeks. When I call in the evening they say the managers don't work past 1600 hrs, when I call in the day they say that managers don't take phone calls and won't speak to me.

When I told them that I wanted to make a compliant they said that they don't really care as they are very sure of their own position. It is impossible to speak to someone on the english line who has a standard of english that is comprehendible, their manners are appalling and the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

Please, please, please, please do not book anything with this company - if I had my time again I wouldn't have wasted an ounce of my bandwidth on their website - let alone give them my money.

Foul.

I booked flights from Melbourne to Fiji return for family of 6. Due to unforseen circumstances, flights needed to be brought forward 1 week. Bravofly are charging $4,800 (AUD) to change the booking - whereas the airline supplier Fiji Airways cost is listed on their website as $120 per ticket - or $720 (AUD). So Bravofly are looking to make a $4,100 profit on changing flight dates. I will be looking to Consumer Affairs to make representations on my behalf.
Customer Service is non-existant, with communication restricted to email and 72 hour turn around times, as land line is never answered.

Beware of Bravofly and misleading prices! Yesterday I booked a flight from BRAVOFLY on skyscanner. The ticket cost was 1824 kr. However after entering my credit card number and clicking "purchase", the total jumped to 2012 kr - or 188 kr/32$ more.

As I reside in DK I tried calling the Danish BRAVOFLY number 9010 9097 (which costs each time you dial the nr., plus 2kr per minute after the beep!) to ask about the difference, but my call was disconnected after the "beep" both times, which will cost me an additional 6 kr/1.20$.

I fly 5-6 times a year for work and will never use Bravofly again. Their prices are totally misleading and their customer service number automatically disconnects you - but still you must pay for making the call.

These are misleading, dishonest business practices to which the customer has no redress. As for Skyscanner - you need to do some vetting of the companies allowed on your site - Bravofly has tarnished your reputation as well.

Wish I had read the reviews...
A few weeks before my trip I called Bravofly with a couple of simple requests.

1. reschedule my return flight
2. How much to take sports baggage (bicycle)

Simple requests, I've taken the bike before and I've always had an answer on cost without any problem or delay.

The first call was dealt with by someone who seemed to have something better to do and asked me to email my requests, which I did straight away including photo of bike box with dimensions and weight.

A few days later I had heard nothing... called them and had an email with an offer for a different return flight, huge admin costs but I took it. I asked again about the cost of taking the bike.

Over the course of a week I made 4 calls, sent emails and still had no answer?

On the last call the guy said I needed to call the airline direct (SAA) and gave me a south african number, even though I'm in UK! I pointed this out and he said I should email the airline and he gave me a generic email address. Yeah, thanks! I'll do your job for you.

So the company that I have paid for a service are not providing it.

I've never complained about any company before but the way I've been dealt with has been totally unacceptable.

If you want a stress free trip, start by NOT booking your tickets through Bravofly

Beware of bravofly. I will never use this site. Bad customer service and unprofessional email confirmations that are misleading and confusing. Cheap pricing is not worth the hassle. Dont be penny wise pond foolish.

We made two bookings with Bravofly nearly two months ago and have still not been able to resolve some issues that occured in relation to them. The customer service seems to be very poor. What started out as a simple mistake that could have been corrected within a day or two had the customer service agents paid more attention to what we had said in our initial e-mails/calls now turned into a complicated issue that has been going on for nearly two months. At this stage I don't have much faith left it will be corrected in time for us to take our Christmas flights as intended. I am sorry I used this agency and will do my best to avoid them in the future.

Following the above review I was contacted by a CS rep asking for all the details of the issue and some 24 hours after providing those, we received a confirmation of the corrected bookings. The colleagues working on the phone directly with clients should take a leaf out of this person's book because this is exactly how issues should be dealt with, and I am very grateful for the help that we finally received, even though it was long overdue. Consequently I am changing my rating to two stars, but I will definitely be very careful with this agency going forward.

This is a cowboy company

This is a cowboy company. I have lost my money booking a domestic flight in India from the UK. But thank God it was not a big amount... You are better off going to the airline yourself where you can book the plane at £30 cheaper. I paid them £52 thinking it was cheap in comparison to other companies. I did the booking on line. It gave me a confirmation by email that all was booked and gave me a PNR number. But when I checked the PNR with the airline... GOAir, there was no booking. It was a fake PRN. I checked with Bravofly and they said it was strange, they were getting the same problem. Basically their call staff are generally useless. Although not rude, they are very unhelpful. They never return your call when they said they would and when you ring back they lie and said their colleague spoken to had just left when this was not true. BE CAREFUL. I would not advise you to go with them. CHEAP IS MORE EXPENSIVE.

As other users have written, they add a large administration fee, written in very small print, on the last page. If you are not observant, this is what you pay as it is the page where you enter your credit card details and click Buy!

This sort of dishonest practice makes me wonder what else they are hiding. I got the same ticket from another site for about the same price but that site at least was honest and upfront about what the ticket cost.

We believe our pricing system to be clearly laid out from choosing the flight to the reservation and payment screens, therefore if you feel the price is too high it is possible to discontinue the transaction at any point until you click confirm. Anytime you add something such as our Assistance Package, luggage or the form of payment it is clearly indicated that the total price has changed.

Our service and credit card fees vary depending on destination, airline and type of card used therefore these must be added at those particular sections of the transaction process.

I would NOT use Bravofly again! They looked as if they were offering a good price - about $60 less than the fare of the airline's own website. This price was in large print repeatedly until the last page when in small print they added a $60 administration fee bringing it back to the original fare.

Before that in the process, their search engine had offered a price but when it was selected it was not available and a "class upgrade" required a higher price.

This is misleading - it would be easy not to notice the increase after repeated lower prices being displayed.

The big problem was not being able to reserve seats when I booked the flights. All the other sights have a choice to pick the seats. By the time I went to the American Airlines sight to pick the seats, they were taken so now my family of five are not sitting near each other and I never would have booked the flight if I knew this was going to happen.

I just booked a flight that leave this evening and I don't know if it has gone through? I need 2 get to my connecting flight? I have no idea what is going on? Do they take the money straight away or can I cancel the card so they can't get to my account? I just saw all the reviews and its not looking good. This has messed up my whole holiday! Its day light robbery!
