I have noticed that their prices have gone up on every item by a few dollars which adds up pretty quickly. Their prices were not even competitive before the increase. Costco and BJs are way cheaper for the same item. Some are almost double the price here. The kicker is that now they are also adding on a $1.99 fuel charge to every order. Way to rip your customers off.
This is the 3rd time I've recieved my order in terrible shape. Their customer service is unresponsive and gives you the runaround when trying to request a refund. Just stick with Amazon, a company that understands how to put things in appropriate boxes for the shipment.
If you want to buy items in bulk then boxed.com is the site to go. They have a variety of items available at reasonable prices. However, not all items are cheap when compared to certain other websites but many are. My order arrived intact and on time.
My brother told.me bout BOXED 2 yrs ago & I started using them. Last yr. They're always late & my pakgs torn open on inside & getting to expensive! They never apologize, act as if they're doing you a favor whens its your money! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Its a rip off! They're a business, yet they let someone tell them how to treat certain individuals! Not in control of their so called business are they? Hope they HAVE A NICE DAY!
I ordered coffee using a promo code for 20% off and free shipping. I placed the order and it went through no problem. Five minutes later I got an email saying we cannot ship this to you. Probably because they were losing money on the coffee. Lol.
Their ads say no membership required but you have to create a login to access…talk about false advertising!
My first order was on Apr 1st they claim 1-3 business days delivery it's the 5th and it was still processing I contacted customer service and they cancelled my order nice impression for my first order!
Every time I hear your add I think twice about ordering. All I hear is another word. Please change your add.
The box commercial says. What the box. As in what the $#*!. And the kids say it. When they delivery truck shows up. What is the thinking going on in this marketing department. This is not funny. Then there were sexual overtones after talking about rockets going to the space. None of this was funny. It was very midnight adult commercial broadcast all in the middle of the day so now kids are going to be walking around talking about what the boxed. The marketing department really missed the mark on this one. What do you think the kids are going to be asking about that phrase. And when other people say it they're going to quickly connect the dot and it won't be long before they start saying what the $#*!. I'm not convinced to use your service based on that commercial. No I'm not going to post a length of it and propagate it further here. You know what commercial I'm talking about.
And have children involved in the so called not cussing. Very tacky and poor taste. Maybe if you change your commercial I might think of buying
Numerous boxes came damaged. The best they do is credit for the inferior product. Then throw you a 10% discount. They don't take into consideration the damage done to the other products in the box. I'm tired of cleaning items that are leaked onto from the product. The 10% just isn't enuf.
I just saw a TV commercial for this company called "boxed.com" so I thought I'd Google it to see what it's all about. When I Googled it I saw boxed.com reviews. After reading most of the reviews, which gave it 1 out of 5 stars, I decided that this was NOT the company I wanted to deal with. Sorry, boxed.com. But you're wasting your money on TV ads.
If you sign up for the boxedup membership and later want to cancel they give you a hard time. Don't join.
My husband told me that he saw an ad, this morning about boxed. So, i went to their site and started going through the stuff i get. The first few things i looked up. Paper towels about 50% more, toilet paper about 25% more, bottle water about 60% more, cookies 75% more, than what i pay at any of my local grocery stores. I shop at Walmart, Target, Tops, and Wegmans. I dont know what big cities like NYC local grocery stores prices are, but where i live. Boxed is definitely not worth it. Its much cheaper to order online and pay a delivery company to deliver to you. The only thing i see is a company trying to rip people off.
After reviewing some of their prices, absolutely not ever buy from this company. You can beat their prices everyday at Walmart or Target. Example 12 double rolls of Bounty paper towels $27 Boxed, $21 at Target.
That's serious dollars folks and I live on retirement fixed income. If you have money to burn and can put up with crappy customer service and damaged goods, this bunch is for you. Buyer beware!
Ordered 4 days ago and contacted them for explanation... first excuse? Weather! But they use fedex and my CHEWY order placed same day arrived next day... second excuse? O they dont work weekends!
They asked if i wanted to cancel since they didnt even start boxing order yet!
I placed an order after seeing a commercial for Boxed. As luck would have it, I forgot a couple of things during my most recent trip to Costco. That was ten days ago. I am still waiting for my Box! There is no way to contact Boxed. Every day, I log into my account to see that the estimated delivery date is tomorrow! Seriously! It is like Groundhogs Day. I have already been back to Costo twice
Ordered from Boxed.com and in the same day they cancelled my order and said it was under review due to recent activity on my account. RECENT ACTIVITY? I literally just opened that new account the same day i ordered... so I told them to remove all my information and not even bother with any shipping.
I don't know where people are buying their food but say this place is cheaper. I cam give you one example…
Starkest light chunk tune is 71 cents at Walmart, and for 8 cans, boxed wants $11.29! Ridiculous!
I have noticed, just browsing, that so many things are more expensive than I pay for them elsewhere. This is NOT like Costco or Sam's Club, or BJ's. Don't waste your money here. Yes, it is probably cheaper than buying cleaning supplies on Amazon. I noticed the only things that were reasonably, where the items from " Prince and Spring". Must be their brand.
I don't know. Go judge for yourself. But I will not be ordering a thing from them.
I put in my order October 2nd and i received it oct 6th four days later it was packed very very professionally and i am very very very satisfied with the service looks like i found a new shopping place
