My purchases have actually been through a different website. The deals I've selected have been great. The items have arrived in a timely manner and undamaged.
Can not get a hold of anyone to report this to, just getting the run around, just want my credit card
If a person pays attention they will realize Boxed offers their products for a high retail price, not wholesale. They are probably 30-30% higher than Walmart or BJs. The only times I'd order from. Them is with a 25-30% discount from my credit card. Be aware of pricing. Maybe people just want convenience and are not concerned about cost.
We received our order and on opening the box found that the honey was loosely packed being tossed around the box and leaking honey over everything inside. See attached photos. Wrote the company several times with no response. You would figure for a $600.00+ order they would have made sure it was right. Never again... Thank you
I have an issue with any company that will not allow you to review their site/product until you give them your name and email address. UM, NO! And looking further, this is an Asian based company... with all of the information stealing from China, makes me very cautious that I cannot see prices without my information. And the founders are all Asian based names. I would hope they are American born citizens but with our current economy and stealing of information, any site that will not let us in to review their product with our our email and name... shady!
This is my update of my review of boxed.com. I can not seem to be able to log in sitejabber.com for some reason. So I am posting my review up date to online business review. BBB said boxed.com has not responded to the complaint and has closed the case. Boy that ought to make boxed.com sit up and take notice (LOL). BBB said if I wanted to pursue my complaint to contact Consumer Affairs. All they will do is record the complaint and if enough complaints are recorded about boxed.com they will do something about it. What, I have no idea. I have nothing left to be able to do anything about this other to hope people complain and not stop complaining.
I was told I was a fraud because I changed my credit card to another credit card. Then was told to send all kinds of personal papers to prove I was good to go. Never have I been so pissed. I have in 20 years only written 2 reviews and they were both 1 star. Boxed is the 2nd one. They have wasted hours of my time just to insult me. Good bye boxed.com
I signed up for Boxed today. The first thing I looked at was coffee because I use ALOT. Boxed has a 38.4 oz container of Folgers Classic for $11.99. I get a 40 oz container at Walmart for 9.96. I had to look no further. It's no wonder they don't charge fees, they charge more than retail.
Just recently discovered boxed.com and absolutely LOVE it. It has so much to choose from with amazing deals. Shipping is fast too! If you are looking to save money, please shop on boxes.com!
I ordered Halibut on a discount offer for first order. It came well packaged and timely. Had the first piece today and it is a good, light halibut. I am most pleased
I had decided to try Boxed. On my very first order, UPS called me to tell me items had been damaged and things were leaking. She sa8she would return the box to Boxed. I then emailed customer service to tell them the issue. They said that it wasn't their fault because they have no control over what happens to the package after it is shipped. Very true. But, if the items are packaged correctly and caps are checked to be sure they are on tight, then the chance of items being damaged greatly decreases. They claiming responsibility and shoved the blame all on UPS. They did refund my money, but I will not be ordering from them again.
Excellent company. Received delivery of heavy items and cookies all packed super professional by associate Titilope P. Who went above the call of duty in adding extra protection on all sprayer nozzles.The cookies were fresh & perfect... well done... amazing. 2 day delivery.
Why would anyone sign up for a shopping website that requires revealing your identity BEFORE showing you their products or prices? Isn't this dangerous?
After ordering from this scammer company, they charged my card and held my order for many days, I then received a email demanding I send credit cared statements or else the order wouldn't be shipped, even though they STILL charged my account. There's no phone number listen to call them, only email in which they take DAYS to respond. This company is fraudulent and they scam people out of their money.
This company isnt as advertised. They send soft stuff mixed with heavy stuff. The boxed and cans came with dents and crushed boxes. The so call bulk was not very bulk. I VERY disappointed stick with costco or sams club this is a joke.
Overall I've been pretty pleased with my boxed.com orders. And when I've had issues, someone has gotten back to me very quickly. However, not once but twice, I realized I was missing items. I contacted customer service and they told me both times that the box was damaged during shipping and was returned to them. They offered to refund or replace. My problem is that they didnt contact me first, like they are trying to get away with something.
I ordered over 100 worth of items they say 3 days I will have it. 7 days later after 4 days in a UPS truck sitting in hub I get ruined food, melted food, ect. Also you will not find a phone number to call them and I don't do business like this over email when I am spending MY HARD EARNED MONEY! Sams wholesale club ships also Im going back to them never ever had this problem with Sams! I also think if you complain they flag you as fraud so they don't have to deal with you. I will be disputing my entire order with my bank. A picture of my 10 boxes of Milano's cookies show they were all melted and slide apart. Also whoever packs the boxes are idiots they put heavy stuff in with boxes of chips. Like duhhhh! They also after 4 items were ruined only offered me a refund for one item! DO NOT BUY HERE
This is going to sound ridiculous but is 100% true. I was referred to Boxed by somebody who had been using them for years and was happy with them. When I placed my first order of about $100, it was cancelled within 15 minutes. They said to contact to support which I did. They said that I was involved in fraud and had to contact the fraud department. I told them they were ridiculous to consider a new customer fraud and make them keep reaching out by email because they don't provide a phone number. I said it was a waste of my time and I would just continue to shop elsewhere. I mean like who refuses to let customers place orders? A couple months later, the person who referred me tried making their next order and it was cancelled too. She reached out to support and they said her account was flagged as fraud. They ended up clearing her account. While she was corresponding with them, she mentioned what had happened with me and they told her they cleared my account as well. I was a bit skeptical about trying again but did anyways. Again I had $100 in my cart and this time they refused to allow me to check out. It said to contact support which I did. They told me I was too risky and could not make any purchases from them. Wow! Seriously? I'm risky? What am I gonna do? I'm trying to order from you! Unreasonable customer service!
I ordered two Nexxus shampoo bottles one came with a broken pump due to a sloppy packaging. I emailed customer service and issued a refund for me in less than a half and hour.
1-3 days delivery... 6 days after not delivery yet. Should read reviews before I ordered from this place. Never again.
I was all set to order but first checked the reviews. People sure are NOT pleased with you. One customer continues to go back to you, despite the fact that most their products are damaged beyond repair. That makes NO sense. She thinks she is getting a good deal. But, how can you call it a deal when the products are totally damaged? So, my question is this: Who does your boxing/packaging? UNTRAINED MONKEYS? I will pass on this site.
