The customer service for this company is terrifying, like you would think they were purposely being terrible and rude. You can barely get service anywhere in North Carolina and still get charged full price even though you barely can use your phone. They have secret loop holes that won't allow you to switch company's even though your purchase whichever phone in full cash. I've been lied to by the call center workers numerous times. Even the managers at the call centers are terrible. You would think this company would be sued and shut down by now because how terrible they are. I have to wait 12 months in order to get away from this prison camps phone company, I have 5 more months to go. Prayers are appreciated.
Let's start at the price for the plans and you get half the service you pay for, 3 days after I pay the bill I'm out of data, how is that on the highest plan they have? If you buy more data, it runs faster than the data on the plan, BOOST MOBILE DOES NOT STAND TO THE ADS THEY CLAIM...!

Slow speeds constantly. Took 5 calls to customer service that can barely speak English and had to demand a supervisor because they didn't want to give me MY ACCOUNT NUMBER. Two hours just to get the information I needed to dump them!
Can I rate it less than one star? Please do not go to boost. I am a bare minimum person when it comes to phone needs but this carrier is absolutely horrifying. The customer service people are 0 help I pay 75 a month for "unlimited data" because I doordash and just simply need my music and GPS but the "unlimited data" was only strictly working on WiFi and when I called the customer service help line said well it says your good so you should be good and left me on my own with any sort of help. When I finally got it to work. Unlimited data just means. 30 GBs. They simply lie. I'm switching to a much cheaper line that has much higher reviews and benefits. Never again will I speak anything positive about this provider. Absolutely disappointed and wasted so much time, money and lost work hours due to not having data when I paid for it.
Been with boost mobile for over five years. Bought new phones in 2020. Decided to get new carrier because they decided to stop giving me unlimited texts because I was on the $5 off for autopay and they discontinued it. They sent me a message at time that my contract would not change but obviously did. The intention was to get me to purchase a high data plan. They would not let me text without using data anymore. My husband had started his boost contract after this change, same plan as mine and he has no problem. So we called them for our account numbers which extricating that from them was not easy. They were even told we were changing carriers. They never told us we would have to have them unlock our phones. I thought they would be unlocked automatically after one year. Was not until we were transferring to new carrier that we found out they were still locked. Called and not only did they say we had to make separate calls for each phone number, but that it would take 2 days to unlock them. What a sleepy operation they got going. We now have inoperable phones. Do not go with boost mobile. Horrible company.
And no im definitely not switching to metro. I like the sprint network. You guys suck. I have to push an accept cookies button all the $#*!in time. Its ridiculous
I tried to get a phone unlocked from boost mobile and they would not unlock it remind you they are prepaid they told me I had to have my phone activated for a year before they would unlock it. I upgraded my phone with another phone through boost mobile and transfer my phone number to the new phone. I would not recommend boost mobile to anyone because all they want is your money they drop calls internet goes in and out. I am telling you don't get a boost mobile phone or service they suck and Today I had to argue with customer service to get my account number. I can see if it were a contract phone but a prepaid phone that I paid cash for be real. Iam a diabetic heart paitent but they did not care about anything I said I was going to keep my current phone and service with them I just wanted the other phone unlocked so I could use it through qlink but thanku boost for screwing me around. On the phone with customer service for over 4 hrs, transferred to 11 agents. Last two supervisors said there was nothing they could do and couldnt escalate my case any further because my telephone number which i just got 5 days ago was deactivated in APRIL 2020. WTF! The supervisor, Anna, wouldnt even tell me which department she was the supervisor of. Her advice was to go back to the dealer and ask for a refund. My phone works and is active. I just want to swap devices but my PIN isnt accepted. Terrible customer support!
Back in November 2021 I tried to pay my bill with the automated system and it said It didn't go through the first two times so I hung up and called back and It went through this time. After a few days I I checked my account and it showed that the boost payment actually went through two times. Once I realize that it actually went through I disputed one of the charges And got one of the charges back. Now here comes January 2022 and they decide to cut my services off for November towards the end of the month right before February bill wait, Let me rephrase that! Af ter the 60 days was up for me to dispute the other charge my services off stating that they did not get a payment in November. So I called them and told them that I had my bank stating which shows that it was paid twice and I got reimbursed for one of the payments. Lady wasn't comprehending so I went into the store the store told me I was supposed to call customer service which already had did. So after leaving the store I called them back they're still stating they only see one payment which was reversed in January which was a lie because the dispute was done completely in November. But anyways I offered to upload my bank statement somehow to prove that he got taken out twice and I only disputed the one I was basically told I would have to re-pay it and that it doesn't matter if I had a big statement it didn't show on there and that I paid it. So I ask what am I supposed to do to get my money back dispute the other $91 charge? She responded yes and pay the $91, as I was still talking she told me goodbye and hung up in my face.
I've had multiple bad experiences with this company. I'd highly advise staying away from them. The customer service hangs up on you. You order a phone on line and it doesn't come even when you pay extra money for shipping. You cancel your order it takes over 2+ months to get your money back. They can't understand you. They lie to you just for your money and the insurance they offer you is just as big of a scam. You go to a store you will pay over 200$ more for a phone and they charge you 25$ to activate it. Beyond the worst phone company to have. I highly advise you to go somewhere else. I was a six year customer. It only gets a 1 star cause the review won't let you do a zero.

I used up the data on my thirty five dollar plan. I was told I could pay ten dollars for an extra two g worth of data. I payed, it didn't even last two days just checking my emails. That is not the point, the issue is when I tried to renew my subscription I was told I had been placed automatically on a forty five dollar monthly plan. Just from buying an extra 2 gig! If that is not dishonest and underhand what else can it be called? I have found them very sneaky with information and I wonder why they are allowed to treat customers with this type of less than fair behavior

My phone constantly drops calls it never works I was out of work for 10 days with covid they would do nothing to extend my bill and I only needed it for 3 days the people that work there are rude I don't know how you all stay in business treating people the way that you do I would definitely be going to a different carrier
I have been a loyal customer of Boost Mobile since 2010. I have had a hacker on my cell phones and computers for six months 24/7 and have been the unfortunate victim of this sociopaths cyberstalking and cyberbullying who has taken total control of my 3 cell phones, 3 computers continuously. I am aware of the victim's identity and have some proof of his cybercrimes. I have had a report with the Sarasota's Sheriff's Department, yet they told me I HAVE TO GET DOCUMENTATION FROM BOOST MOBILE REGARDING THIS HACKER ON MY CELL PHONE BEFORE THEY WILL HAVE DETECTIVES INVESTIGATE. I CALLED BOOST 5 TIMES AND KEEP GETTING DISCONNECTED. HOWEVER, I ASKED THEM TO CALL ME BACK IF THAT HAPPENED AND THEY DID NOT! Also one representative said she couldn't help me!

Bought a phone through boostmobile.com. They sent me a phone that I couldn't connect bc another number was attached and wouldn't refund me! Then I switched to Verizon and before I could port my number they cancelled my account even though I was paid for another month. So I lost my number that I've had for over 10 years! Don't be scammed by this untrustworthy unethical company!
I used my Boost app for Boost Mobile I pay for the $50 unlimited plan my plan details clearly State word for word mobile ultimize streaming videos games and music unlimited data on the expanded Network unlimited music streaming no data yet at 35 gigs of data when there was no data charges boost completely shut my internet off I have no data now I called them they tell me it was an inconvenience and it's a misunderstanding that they'll give me two gigs for free if I would accept it I said yeah sure they charged me $10 for it so Boost Mobile horrible compared to straight talk cuz no matter what you pay you can only get 35 gigs of data from them you can go to AT&t pay 65 a month you get unlimited everything I'm pretty sure straight talk's like 55 a month unlimited everything $45 you get like 45 gigs or some crap like that so everything from coming to get your hands on is better than boost that's really sad super disappointed in Boost Mobile for telling me I had no data charges for music and video and then charging me hands down do not buy boost
