I contacted Angela Kuykendall at Boomer Benefits when I received a substantial premium increase for the upcoming renewal of my Medigap plan. Not only was she professional, efficient, personable and "fabulous" every time I spoke with her, she found another company that saved me $41.00 per month! She walked me through the new application process and once approved, got on the phone with the company I was dropping to help cancel that policy. In this confusing Medicare world, Angela made it seamless! I highly recommend Boomer Benefits!
Regrettably, the rep was impatient and overwhelming as well as overwhelmed. She shared that her house had just burned down and that she came in anyway to help clients. I asked her to slow down to allow me to ask any questions. It was all new to me, and her information delivery was an uninterruptible quick monologue. My prior rep was gone due to an emergency. Not a good choice if you need patient reps.
Michelle Weingart was great at helping us find a replacement policy that saved us money and allowed us to combine our coverage, as a couple. She made the process easy and walked us through all the aspects of making the needed changes. She is professional, polite, sincere, and had great follow through to make sure we got everything working properly. Thank you for your time and efforts to help us!

I had an excellent experience using Boomer Benefits in getting signed up for Medicare. Jacob Chesney gave me invaluable help with choosing the appropriate supplemental plan and Wendy Hernandez was great at helping me get signed up with a Drug Plan. Even when I got distracted, didn't respond or got confused, Wendy patiently nudged me until I finally got signed up with the best plan for me.
I kept Brandon's contact info from last year as he was great in explaining things to me in detail. Extremely helpful. I was lost like a lot of other people who post about the intricacies of Medicare. I came across Danielle's post & joined the webinar on basics of Medicare. Omg! What a jungle it is. I called & spoke to 2 agents who got me started. Once I looked over my notes, I worked with Sandra & she was amazing. Together, we were able to figure out the best option for me. She also helped me figure out Part D. I am not on any medication at the present time & through life style changes & some excellent supplements I plan to keep it this way.

Without the expertise of Elizabeth Doyle, I don't know where I'd be now. She has been a Godsend. She helped me resolve multiple billing issues with Medicare. She found mistakes made in the way Medicare was billed. She's AMAZING!
I am not happy at all with the way I feel I was talked into taking a drug plan I didn't want, then to find out that the price of my medication is the SAME WITH insurance as WITHOUT the insurance!
Needing a drug plan I went to Boomer and received excellent info from Chasatay Arriaga. She listened to my needs and concerns and came back with a great plan for me and had it all wrapped in a bow in no time!

Answer: The VA and Medicare coverage is separate, so you shouldn't have to show your Medicare card. Next time they ask, you should pose that question to them and find out why they are asking for information when VA hospitals generally don't need to bill Medicare for anything.

Answer: Hi Paul, yes we help people with enrolling into Medigap or Medicare Advantage coverage, and if they go the the Medigap route, we also help them with setting up their Part D coverage. We limit our Part D help exclusively to people who have purchased a Medigap plan through us due to simple supply and demand. Otherwise, we can't keep up with the number of people needing Part D help each fall during the Annual Election Period when 60 million people are all trying to make their changes within a very limited window of time. However, anyone can join our free private Facebook group - called Medicare Q&A with Boomer Benefits - and there you can submit questions whether you are a client of ours or not. We answer general Medicare questions in this group all year round for anyone who needs help.
Answer: Hi Richard, we do assist our Medigap policyholders with finding their initial Part D plan, and free support in subsequent years with shopping those plans at annual renewal as well. So if you would like our help with enrolling both Plan G and Part D, we would be happy to assist. We do not offer Part D services to beneficiaries who bought their Medigap plan elsewhere, and that is a simple supply and demand issue - we literally cannot keep up with the demand for Part D help unless we limit that service exclusively to our Medigap policyholders.
