Tried to use their sell program and sent 4 books for them to buy from me and they only paid me for 2 books and listed as "not having received" the other 2 books. They gave me no option to have them returned to me and will not respond to any of my customer service inquiries and their chat feature on their website has over 1 hour+ wait. Very poor experience. Would not recommend.

The book I ordered from AbesBooks.com on July 24,2023 was sent to me by BooksRun on July 28,2023. It was The Red Canoe by Anne Yvonne Gilbert. It was noted as being in Very Good Condition when it left your store. On its way through the delivery system the book's binding was badly crushed and the thin plastic envelope did not protect it at all. It resulted in damaging every page and making the book hard to open up flat to read. I wrote an email saying all this with PHOTOS on the very same day, July 28,2023. I never heard back from BooksRun. BooksRun sent a request to comment on your service, but there was not a place to describe what the condition of the book was when it arrived and unlike today's request for a review the first one had only good descriptors to check which was not what I needed. I am sorry you did not respond to my first email at all. Perhaps special hardcover books need more rigid mailers to protect them, and more responsive book sellers!
