BooksRun's prices are always competitive, so I always compare them to my college bookstore first, whenever possible, for each required title. This experience, I paid for expedited shipping, and my BooksRun textbook was delivered ahead of schedule. I appreciated that a lot, because I was up against a deadline of needing to head back to campus. I've used BooksRun before over the years, and customer service is always great. Received my book just in time even though I was late in ordering it. Phew!
Ordered books but ended not taking the class. I sold them back to BooksRun less a than a month after receiving them and quote given was lowered when paid. Books were never used. Insurance was also taken.
After two support emails and a review, customer service contacted me and did honor their original quote. I appreciate their response and handling. I wish they would have used the USPS insurance process if books were damaged during shipping.
The transaction was very straightforward and easy. Customer service was nice and responsive. Book prices were good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that a check was mailed more than a month before I received it? Not sure how it was sent but it took 34 days. Opt for the PayPal option.
I would have given a 5 star rating if not for the fact that BooksRun only support the bookshelf reader app. The website does not mention this nor does the website say that one can only download your purchase via the bookshelf reader (and one does not have the option to choose between epub and pdf). The book was priced very reasonable. It arrived in a timely manner and in excellent condition. I look forward to purchasing other reasonably priced books from Books Run. The book selection is amazing.
