It was only by luck that my book arrived unscathed. The Book was sent in a flimsy plastic envelope with no padding/bubble wrap to protect it from being bumped or dented or worse. You need to protect your shipments better!

UPDATE: In posting about my experience on SiteJabber with BooksRun, I was not expecting any sort of response... and so I was surprised and pleased to hear from the company directly. Customer service there apologized for the situation, reviewed what had happened and offered to make the situation right. I'm still not happy about the original discrepancy in the sales process, but I am very impressed with BooksRun customer service and the commitment to happy customers. Based on this experience, I would definitely do business with BooksRun again and will plan on selling more books in the future. At many online companies, it is not clear there is much in the way of customer support when things go wrong or there are questions; it is good to see BooksRun seems to have invested in ensuring its customers are happy and fairly treated.

I sold books to BooksRun based on its online offer to me, and the receipt that printed automatically to pack with the books showed these same offer prices. But for some reason the total receipt payment amount at the bottom was reduced. In other words, the list of books and their prices all showed one set of values, but the total of all the books was a different (lower) value. Maybe the pricing of one of my books changed between the time I added it to my sell list and when I printed the invoice for mailing?... although I did all this on the same day/same transaction and that doesn't seem right. In sending back my books, I added a note to BooksRun to honor their original offer prices (as shown on THEIR receipt); BooksRun paid me the lower amount and not the amount they had initially said they were going to pay. I suspect the offer price for some of my books changed (was reduced) between the time I put my books in the cart there to be sold and when the final invoice printed.
