I got a quote from BooksRun saying that they would give me $20 for my college textbook. I send my book and later receive an email saying that they would only give $0.34 for the book because the "ISBN number was different." When I went to try and have the book sent back to me so I can use another company, it said I would have to pay over $8 for shipping. Now I'm like what's the point of making money from this?
Jumping from $20 to $0.34 is ridiculous. Do not trust this website.

I purchased a Calculus book and then my college student told me he actually had this book from last year. I refused the package at the post office upon their advice. Now BooksRun is telling me this is not a valid method of return. They have the book back but won't refund me!

BooksRuns seems very easy and user friendly at first. However a book I sent to them that they quoted for around $50 arrived with the spine of the book somehow removed. They told me because of this they would now offer me $7 for the book, and if I choose to have it shipped back to me it would cost $9. The book I mailed them had absolutely no damages. They painted me into a corner were I either had to let them keep my book or loose all of my money. I will never sell with them, or buy from them again.

I sold my text book to this company and I've had nothing but trouble. The company received my textbook and sent me a check for $75.09. I deposited the check and it was returned and I then received a fee ($12.00) from my bank. I have contacted the company multiple times (chat feature is just automated and no one answers the telephone) via email with little help. The company refuses to let me speak to a supervisor and keep telling me my bank is at fault. My bank states the check was returned because of error on Booksrun end. Due to this I am now out of $77.09.

I sold a bunch of books to BooksRun this summer and then ended up buying most of my fall course books from them. Pretty happy with everything I have done with them besides the fact that it turned out I don't need most of my books. Alas. That's not BooksRun's fault! They did their job quite satisfactorily.

If you want to sell your books, this company will rip you off. They gave me 1/4 of the price they originally quoted me, and there was nothing wrong with the books. Then they wanted $17 to ship the books back to me. I will never do business with this company again.

The textbooks arrives in nearly new condition even though they were used. The company sent an email saying the textbooks may arrive a little slow due to the post office, and they were seeing delays. However, I received my textbooks right away. Great communications and textbooks.

I received my order in pretty right at the time range that the website recommend, but I would like to receive faster if I can. However, the response for the email is slow, and noone even picked up the phone call, so that was pretty irritating. I would love to be received faster but I can understand that... I will consider selling book on this website.

I was looking to rent this book to save money and booksrun.com helped me do exactly that. The delivery instructions were super clear and thorough, the book is in great condition, and the delivery came super fast! Highly satisfied and would definitely order again!
The whole process is simple and easy to understand. I had a little difficulty printing out the label in the current pandemic due to lack of available options but I had no problems with anything else while preparing to ship the book off. However, I received less compensation than I was lead to believe, for a textbook that was like new. It was only a couple of dollars less but every dollar counts.

I was very frustrated with my experience with Booksrun.com. I called twice to make sure that they would accept a brand new, loose-leaf copy of a Geology book. They assured me, not once, but twice that they did. After I sent the book in to sell to them, they refused to pay for the BRAND NEW, UNUSED book and then expected me to pay to have it returned. I also purchased a book the is still on back order and we are 3 weeks into class. I ended up having to go a different route and have yet to be refunded. Overall a very bad experience. 10/10 feel like its a complete scam and WOULD NOT recommend!
