So easy, used a book sell finder website to locate & compare multiple offers. Books Run was the best value overall, simply fill in your info, print pre-paid ship label and send it off. Money was in my account ASAP for the amount quoted. Excellent way to resell textbooks, in our case it helped recoup money for buying wrong books from school that couldn't be returned. Try it, they are fantastic!
I sold them a textbook that was in pristine condition. They said that because it had very limited highlighting, it was worth $8 instead of $20 (even though it's a very highly valued textbook!) That's nonsense--I have sold many textbooks, and I know that if it has limited highlighting, it won't lower the value to buyers. They gave me the option of paying $9 to return it to them, but they valued the book at $8, so they tried to paint me into a corner but I'm not buying it. I had *many* other options for selling that textbook to toher venodors, so I will ask for my book back AND I will tell everyone I know--don't send them your textbook b/c they are CHEAPSKATES and they don't know the actual value of a used textbook. You shouldn't do business with them. Save yourself the same lesson--just don't send them your textbook!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BOOKSRUN! They are the WORST company to do business with. I ordered a book a week before my class started with expedited shipping and it came two weeks later, a week after my class started. I have contacted them about returning the book and getting my money back on 3 separate occasions and they have yet to respond back to any emails. They also have no way to contact them except through email so it makes a challenge to get a hold of anyone! I finally had to order from Amazon in order to get my book for class! I will NEVER give business to this company ever again! Stay away! They are a scam!

I hate to make waste, so I like buying used or renting. However, this took too long to get to me. It arrived 1/2 into the third week of the quarter! If I would have paid $2 more, I could have bought it from Amazon and had it in a few days. This company is overpriced, and book was late. I don't think I'll use this company again.

I sold two brand new books to BooksRun. When I received my reimbursement check it was for less than the quote. I listed the brand new books as "Used-Like New." They changed this to "Used-Very Good." Their rationale: the books were not shrink-wrapped. I am the manager of a bookstore and receive shipments of new books. The only shrink-wrapped books I receive are looseleaf editions or those which have codes. (The books I sold to BooksRun were neither.) Publishers don't shrink-wrap their books. To base the "Used-Like New" designation on whether or not they are shrink-wrapped is absurd. I was told they would get back to me about the change in condition, however I never heard from them again. Do not sell your new/like new books to BooksRun unless they are in perfect shrink-wrapped condition.

Booksrun is a huge scam preying on unsuspecting college kids. I shipped a booked that my child had rented from booksrun. They charged my card over $200 and has been keeping the book that I returned. I will be reporting them to state and federal authorities as a scam. RUN AWAY FROM THEM

I sent them a book that was in excellent condition practically new. Only for them to reclassify the book falsely to lower their initial quote. Seeing other reviews I now realize that this is a pattern with this entity. Had I known this I would have never utilized their service. Please be aware of this and be careful.

Sent my books in excellent condition they sent pack photos of pages ripped out and water damage which weren't there prior to me sending. I didn't take pictures beforehand so how could I prove it. Then when I requested my books returned I would have to pay $50 to get my books back. Would never use again, complete scam
