If you're looking to find a book that maybe is sold out everywhere, don't buy from here. This place charged us the price of a new book, but it was torn, marked up, and they just said it was in "good" condition. Not recommended.

You'd be better off selling your books to a University or letting them collect dust til you get a buyer on Ebay.
I was given a quote for $100 more than what they want to pay me after I went through the hassle of sending the books. The stated they're paying me less due to "Heavy Wear" on books that weren't even read. I didn't use the textbooks at all and bought them brand new!
At this point, I just want to get rid of the books and I already went through the hassle of sending them through FedEx. I'm sure they anticipated that though which is why they're low-balling now that they have my books. I have about 15 other textbooks and this was a trial run. I'll sell the rest on Ebay.

The book shipped quickly, but it came with two large stickers on the back cover. The stickers were clearly added there by Bookrun. The book was otherwise in good condition, but the two large stickers on the back are advisements for Bookrun and won't come off cleanly, reducing the quality/condition of the book.

This company is really good at giving you the book session mean in a timely manner. I ordered my books a week before class started for my Biostatistics in public health class. The book came earlier than expected and I'm able to rent the book for as much as I need for a cheap price.

I was pleased that BooksRun had a much better price on an obscure book I wanted than Amazon or anywhere else. It listed it as "New", so I was a little doubtful about that because the price was so much better than the other "New" copies out there. But, sure enough, when the book came it was in new condition, it came quickly, and it was a great experience. I'll definitely buy from BooksRun again.

I originally used BooksRun to sell two textbooks, valued at 25 dollars together - they took forever to send their check and marked the price down to 8 dollars because of heavy wear and water damage, I disagreed, but it was my best option so I assumed it was a mistake and moved on. Sold another book with them later in the semester that I barely used so that I could resell it - I bought it brand new and only used it for half of the semester because I received it late. Most of the time it was kept in its packaging so I could keep the resell value high. I literally wouldn't even carry it in my backpack to make sure it didn't get creases and I could at least get a good amount of cashback. The value for this from BooksRun was 44 dollars (originally 120) and after two months, they marked it down to 17 dollars because of "heavy wear". The 'heavy wear' in question is attached below - literally, there is nothing there. They charged me 9 dollars to have it sent back to me if I rejected the new offer.

I bought a book from Booksrun, and it arrived rather promptly and in great condition for a good price (well below what I could get it for anywhere else). Unfortunately, I first tried to pay with Paypal and after completing the process their website said it didn't go through. So then I paid with a credit card and it was fine and registered the transaction. Next day, both charges went through. Dealing with customer service has been an absolute nightmare. Takes them weeks to reply (first reply was a week after submitting the issue, second reply was two weeks later) and they keep asking for additional information that I've already provided or that they themselves should have in their own records. Seemed very much like they were just stalling to avoid issuing me a refund. Finally got fed up and went to Paypal, and they issued me a refund in one business day. I should note that the second customer service reply came only after I initiated a refund with Paypal, so I suspect the contact from Paypal may be the only reason they actually decided to respond to me after two weeks of silence, despite the fact that I also had sent an email to their direct contact line (rather than customer service portal) after a week.

I'm a college student who used this service because it was cheaper then most competitors. I had originally paid an additional fee to extend the usage of my book but because I did not need it anymore I reached out and was refunded back. They were also very quick to answer and very kind. Order ID*******: First time to order from this company. It took 16 days for my book to arrive. It was a paperback and put into a cardboard box without paper wrapping or bubble wrap so it arrived with damage to the right front corner and with a few small scratches on it. Contacting this company is near impossible. They don't answer their phone and the Chat session is automated and eventually tells you to call, which they don't answer or email. I have receipt in PDF form but this web page will not accept it.
I emailed that the book was damaged and received no response. If you look at their Terms and Conditions it says "BooksRun is not responsible for any loss or damage incurred during shipping." So, I guess I am screwed with a book that isn't suitable for a gift.
