I ordered a book that I no longer needed and I emailed the company's support email 6 different times. There was no response. I then went to Facebook where I continued to post that I needed to return. I was commented back by multiple past customers saying that they had a similar experience and that when they "sold" books to this company they were never paid. What a headache to make a return. It was a 3 weeks process in the end.

My book never arrived. I contacted support x3. January 26th they sent a pregenerated email saying that they received my inquiry. I waited weeks for a response. February 18th they sent me another pregenerated email asking if I received my book. I clicked that I did not receive my book. I waited again, nothing, no response whatsoever. Finally I disputed the charges. My credit card resolved the issues a few weeks later. Once the rental period for the book I never received ended, they fraudulently charged me $72 for a book I never received. I contacted Booksrun again, and filed a dispute with my bank. My bank once again resolved the issues. I would not recommend this company at all.
Update: They said to check my email for a resolution, but that's a lie. I disputed the charges with my card company, and they resolved it, not Booksrun. Booksrun did absolutely nothing, so I'm very confused what I should check my email for. BTW, there's nothing from Booksrun except them trying to say this review isn't valid--which isn't true. I've uploaded all the proof. Do not buy from this company.

I am a college student. I ordered a textbook for one of my classes before the start of my semester. When it had been confirmed that my item was delivered, I had received the wrong textbook. I sent in a request form for my order to be reviewed in hopes of communicating with someone over the next several business days. I hadn't received a reply regarding my need for a refund until my second request form. It took over two weeks for me to receive a reply and assistance. And, because I attend college and needed to complete assignments with this textbook, I was forced to repurchase this item off of another site. I'd like to add that the phone number that BooksRun encourages you to call is not reliable. I was greatly disappointed & will, most likely, never purchase from here again.
