Great service and good books. Quick delivery and free shipping.
Prices and selection are great. The shipping however, is horrible. Ordered the first time and BookOutlet shipped using Fleet Optics, which has a horrible reputation. Got my confirmation email from BO Jan 17 saying shipment on way with tracking number. Tracking number takes you to Fleet. Fleet NEVER updated the tracking, last thing entered is Jan 18 saying Departed Terminal. Shipment never arrives, so contact BO. They say yes, it was returned to them. WHY? Everything I order in past 15 years is fine with address. Eventually BO resends package to an alternate address I provide and sends me an email Jan 30 saying shipping confirmed. This time the new tracking number link sent with new shipment takes me to Fleet website again, and it says "Not Found" on their site! For DAYS it says not found, and then yesterday, Feb 6, package is delivered by Canada Post (in excellent sturdy packaging, btw so thumbs up on that.)
BookOutlet needs to stop using Fleet and find another carrier, or just stick with Canada Post. And make sure the tracking link you send to your customers takes you to the right carrier (not to Fleet when it was sent by CanPost). Otherwise, happy with books, and price. If the shipping fiasco hadn't happened I'd be giving this 5 stars across the board!
I ordered for the first time and pleasantly surprised. Books are discounted at an incredible price and delivered to my door in excellent brand new condition. Would highly recommend.

I was able to find some titles that I wanted for my collection, placed my order and waited for the notice of my order being shipped. It did take a little longer to ship than I anticipated, but my books were well packed and arrived without any bent covers or pages. I was very happy with the purchase.
It's hard to choose a book online since you cannot flip through the pages to see if it will be suitable. I had to return half of my order for this reason and feel that Book Outlet should have paid for the return freight and not the customer. Thanks.

At my last order, I was surprised to see an ordered item becoming unavailable at the shipping time. As a result, I lost my 15% discount. The original total with the item is $72.81. The bill was $54.98 after I submitted my $10 reward including tax. The cancellation of the item, without my review, led to the loss of the 15% promotion discount. As a result, the final bill is $54.98, the same amount of the original order but without the item that I thought I had (The Great Pianist $8.39).
Had to call in to customer service for a minor issue. The customer service was excellent!
