After entering wrong email in booking an accomodation there is almost no way to cancel booking. Customer service did not respond 5 days by mail or phone and did not solve problem even after contacting me. This is shamefull for such a ww service.
Booking.com are a sham of a company that do not support their customers who have back experiences with their bookings but side with the hotelier who provide inadequate facilities. Booking.com treated us vety poorly when the hotel room we booked was far too disgusting to stay in and had to leave after 20 minutes of our 3 night booking. They couldn't care as long as they got tjeir money. Look at alternative companies in the future and advise others to do the same

I reserved a room and than noticed that they had the wrong date I tried to cancel and reduce it but it said I might still be charged for the original order so I called the rep told me she fixed my booking but charged me double the rate and I later found out they charged me for the fixed order and the original mistake that the rep had "fixed". They are common thieves always looking for someone else to scam. SMH they should be put out of business scum like that don't need to run a business. If I could I would give them a -5.
I tried to book 1 night at a local hotel, cost was 220 plus 41.00 fee and a 6.00 fee. I get fees, but when I went to check email it came to 426.00 with a 150.00 additional tax thru a company called getaroom.com. What tax is this? I called, tried to dispute, got amex involved, ultimately had to pay for a service I never used. Amex is fired too, canceled. The bait and switch of some random company is the worst part. NEVER EVER USE 3RD PARTY COMPANIES LIKE THIS, lesson learned
I made a booking for a hotel thru booking.com. They sent me a confirmation email for our booking. Less than 2 hours later they sent me a follow up email stating that they could not honor this reservation and that we would receive a full refund. I had to make a reservation at another hotel. Much later I saw that I never received a refund on the room that they said was cancelled. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get our money back unsuccessfully. I sent them a copy of the email they sent me showing cancellation but they refuse to give me a refund. They are rip off artists.
I tried to get a refund of my reservation I made with them and all they say is policy this and policy that. They will not try whatsoever to make things right for their customers. They stole from me $334. And will not even try and give me credit or some type of positive news. Don't ever use booking.com.
I have used this service as it has been easy - until I had a problem. Then I discovered there is absolutely no way to message, email nor call as an individual traveller client so no help whatsoever - the only options are for the property partners. This is SO unacceptable. I realized a mistake I had made immediately yet now I have NO way to change it.
Booking does not monitor which partners are posted on their website and what information they provide. I came across such an unscrupulous partner, a Hostwise in the city of Porto, who provided incorrect information about the apartment and the apartment was in a terrible state. I asked the host and the booking to cancel the booking and refund my money, but they both absolutely do not care. They both robbed me. Neither the booking nor the host wanted to take responsibility. And booking generally said that they can't do anything and they don't care that the information on the site is wrong, they just earn their money and don't care about people.
Booked a car hire at £59, pending confirmation and 3 days later payment didnt clear due to no fault my end. Rang booking.com and explained i need to pay for my booking and was told i have to now pay £69. I explained i already had the booking and asked for a manager for further assistance and she laughed and me and hung up. Went on chat and was confirmed i will pay the right price and ring again. We "made" a reservation for our stay in Wisconsin this last fall. Upon arrival we found the hotel never received confirmation of our booking made with booking.com. The hotel worked hard to confirm our stay, but we're unable to confirm. I finally used the phone number on the booking.com website to call the customer service of booking.com. After getting a representative who was obviously in a foreign country, an argument ensued about our reservation and I was told the booking was confirmed. I turned the phone over to the manger of the hotel who told them that a confirmation was never made for our room. The representative after arguing for 15 minutes on the phone finally agreed to refund our payment. The hotel manager promised to give us our room at a discounted rate as shown on our booking.com reservation. I hung up the phone and almost immediately notified by my cell phone company of international long distance charges were being charged to my phone bill. I was furious! They do not tell you that their customer service number is overseas! The hotel was amazing and very accommodating. I wrote booking.com about the phone charges and was told to send them the charges to them and they would reimburse me for the cost of the call. When the charges showed up on my phone bill, I forwarded them to booking.com customer service. They have never responded and not refund was ever received and it's been 3 months since our stay in Wisconsin. This is not a company that operates honestly or with honest business practices. Do not book through them unless you have confirmed with your hotel that the confirmation for your stay has been received by them!
Have booked many times without trouble. Flight changed and no refund was issued. Flight they offered was double the duration and double the stops. We booked an 8 hour flight but offered a 23 hour flight
I booked a weekend from Booking.com, I canceled my hotel 5 days before the cutoff date to do so, and recevied a cancelation email from booking, with a 0 balaance. Of course I was charged for the weekend anyway? I have called booking 4 times now, and the hotel 4 times now, the hotel sent me a 0 charge bill saying thye never charged my card. And I believe them, but booking refuses to give me a refund even with proff I was charged, and the hotel varifing I never stayed there? And this s the second time this has happened, it took months to get my first refund. USE ANYBODY ELSE BUT BOOKING. I also heard from others this happens a lot.
Can't believe the accomodation that I booked on booking.com was occupied by others when I arrived. I made full payment but at the end, I spend another 5 hours to find another place to live and made extra payment myself. Given the unpleasant and shocking experiences at Cordis, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all. We made our booking in June under my husband's name, followed by my name. When I checked in, they first said they couldn't find our booking. Then, after a long wait, they found the booking under my husband's name only but with someone else's address and phone number under the booking. That was a total breach of privacy as they showed us everything about another person. What's more shocking is they asked me to proof who I am and my relationship with my husband even after I showed them the confirmation email with the hotel voucher and reference number that matched the booking.
But that's not all, they then said they couldn't see in their system that we've paid for the room and asked us to show proof of the payment which we paid more than five months ago. It was pretty obvious their reservation system and front desk system do not connect. The front desk staff made me pay again and said they'll refund if they find proof of payment. As I was very tired after a long flight, I just wanted to get some rest, so I had no choice but to pay again. I got the key and went to my room. I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the door, they checked me into a room that a family was already staying in, it was so embarrassing! What a breach of security and privacy that is!
I've stayed in many five star hotels around the world and this is definitely one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The quality of service is way below expectation and nothing near your mission statement to provide guests with an immersive and local experience.
When we returned to our room tonight, our room was not even cleaned. Honestly, what 5-star hotel is this? It's certainly not the quality of service I would expect from any 5-star hotel. I wouldn't recommend anyone to a hotel like this.

My itinerary was canceled by booking based on a single connecting flight. I was never informed of the cancelation. When I went to check in I could not. I got in the phone with booking where I was told to contact the airlines. The airlines all 3 stated no cancelation are taking place that booking needs to fix something on there end. Call booking again, they continuously tell me they can't do anything and hung up on me several times. Every point of contact they told me something different from a refund in 24 hours to a refund 5 to 7 days. Or the airline declined a rebooking. The airlines told me that all they needed was the commendation from booking. Terrible experience, horrible customer service, and now I'm missing a wedding I'm to be in.
I booked a room through booking.com they took their $116 immediately I get to the hotel to find out they didn't even book my room I had to call them just for them to tell me the system was down call back in a hour a hour later I called back to get my money back just to be told they have no information of mine in their system no name no phone number not even a confirmation number but y'all took my money like how those that work you take someone's money and not book the room or let alone has the information in the system to fix the issue
Answer: In my case they took my payment information and paid the hotel where I was going to be staying. Only to find out that the hotel was out of business and I had to prove that it was charged to my account. They did not find me a replacement hotel to stay in for the same price. Nor did they care that I was left without a place to stay. So beware before you purchase.

When you check into your hotel, it's billed to your Bookings.com reservation plus incidentals (local calls, parking fees, resort fees, dining, bar fees, Europe charges local or city tax, spa fees...) the hotel will ask for a card as a hold for these fees. Use bookings.com, find the hotel you wish to stay in (get all info and contact them directly via website and price match) the Marriott in Rome had a room for $80.00 less on the Marriott website than these, so called MONEY SAVING SITES.

I had to go to American Express customer serviced to complain and they gave a dead line for explanation. They had no explanation for crappy service and had to repay me.
