Never trust Booking.com it will ruin your journey like they did mine. They will send the wrong reservation to the hotels after they will leave to deal with hotels when it's their own fault and they will never response to your emails. I paid for a specific view at one hotel I flew all the way to the side of the world, booking.com sent the wrong reservation to the hotel when I tried calling booking.com using roam they refused to worth out their mistake instead told me to deal with the hotel receptionist. Not only that they ruined my whole trip not getting the room that I paid they completely ignored all my emails. Such a poor customer service and I felt booking.com is scam website! I will never book thru them every again.

DO NOT USE! TERRIBLE! My wife and I purchased our airline tickets from Booking.com and right before the trip I caught COVID. Booking.com told us we could rebook within the year and use our credits. We tried rebooking by calling their customer service as requested and we're never able to rebook. The Indian customer service Booking.com has outsourced to is TERRIBLE. SO INCOMPETENT! We tried multiple times and each time they would tell us that the issue has been forwarded and we should wait for a call back. Guess what? No call back ever. For weeks we tried resolving this issue, rebooking another flight, but each time they have an excuse and are unable to get us what we paid for. We tried going through to our credit card company, but they denied our request for credit card dispute. This is so terrible that Booking.com places ads all over the place and makes it seem like a great place to purchase your plane tickets, but when you need them they just throw you to some stupid call center in India where they don't help at all. It's so crazy and sad that a corporation like this can steal a customer's money and have no recourse. Please save yourself the stress and don't use them. Booking.yeah, more like Booking.yeahright. We love to take your money and not help you at all if there's any issues. Such BS.

Still haven't refunded me

I always used booking. They booked me and took payment. The hotel called and said they were full and did not take my.money. I called booking and they had my money and refused to put the money towards another reservation even though they booked.me at a full hotel with no vacancy. They said they processed my refund wait 7 to 12 business days. I had to pay again for another hotel. I wait 14 business days no refund. I call back. They never processed my refund said I have to wait for senior authority and then wait another up to 12 days. I'll never use them again.

You have to all a UK number (there are not local country toll free numbers) and be put on hold for several minutes to cancel a flight. While booking.com has been good for some hotel booking and certain flights, it turns into a big hassle once you want to cancel/modify your flight bookings.

They say it's the hotel that they are merely a booking forum. Yet, there are many numbers of people who testify their money was taken unfairly. Don't use this booking format.

Took up offer of free transfer from Nairobi Airport for my daughter travelling to Africa for the first time. Ignored email evidence of confirmation of reservation sent by them. Claimed no record of it. No interest whatsoever in looking into it. Redirected me to taxi customer service whose email box was full of other people's complaints as my email was undeliverable because their email box was full.
Unprofessional, unhelpful and totally disinterested in my custom - £000s of pounds of business every year lost to their cheaper rival, hotels.com for this complete lack of interest in helping out on a simple query

Compre pasajes y trate de hacer una correcion en nnombres antes de las 24 horas de comprar los pasajes y no lo aceptan. Me tienen llamando tres y hasta cinco veces al dia porque iban a escalar el caso para resorverlo y ahora pusieron una Nota en la Reserva que solo se comunicara conmigo un supervisor y nadie quiere atenderme porque debo esperar la llamada del supervisor que quedo en llamar ayer y nunca llamo. Cuidado son una estafa.

I stayed at the Radisson blue in London and experienced such excellent and exceptional service from Elvis at the front desk. Though my flight came in early and the check in was at 3pm, Elvis was understanding, friendly and compassionate. He ensued a room was available right away. He also inquired about anything else I needed. Each time I passed through the reception area, he always made eye contact and waved no matter how busy he was. He was very helpful with exceptional knowledge of the area and sites that may be of interest to me. I am beyond grateful for the extra human touch provided by this agent. When you visit this hotel, make sure you ask for Elvis. He will certainly add a great spice to your time!

Fraud

Their site stated that you could reserve a property with zero down and zero cancellation fees and this was not the case. I reserved one property and decided on another based on distance to the beach. The second property was already booked and my payment was never processed through the rental management company but was processed by bookings.com. BTW, it shows up as Meredith Lodgin not bookings.com and the customer service for bookings.com pull the BS of saying oh you don't have any charges by bookings.com when they know it will not show up like that on your statement. I was charged almost $400. The first property that should have never been charged because I cancelled in time was charged $467 by bookings.com. To correct this you have to send them proof they charged you like a screenshot of your bank statement WHEN THEY CAN SEE THEY CHARGED YOU! Absolute fraud!

It's such a bummer there's no zero star reviews...

Booking.com is the worst. I booked a flight with the wrong dates and immediately tried to cancel -- very common mistake which is why every airline in the world has a 24 hour cancellation policy. I called them to cancel and they said it would take 24 hours to cancel the flight. I said they must do it immediately because of the airlines policy. The said not to worry... well after 2 months of fighting with them. I was not refunded and had a ticket for a flight I couldn't take. Don't trust them. They suck. NEVER use Booking.com

I booked flights with booking.com. I checked the price before I clicked the paid button. Whilst they took my money, booking. Com said the price is higher. I thought oh OK so I will look for better flights but booking.com has already taken the original price of the flights. However I never received any tickets. I have called for a refund. I can only pray that they do the right thing and give me back my money.

This company is not a ABTA member so you have no recourse should things go wrong like mine did, I was Just boarding my flight for a 6000 mile flight to bangkok, when i got a msg saying my hotel was cancelled, Booking.com refused to reimburse me like they said they would when i got in touch with them, I went through all the UK goverment agencies to complain, And the replys I got was, We advise people not to to book with this company as its not a member of any travel governing body, In other words its a scam company.
So instead Im posting on every review site about this company to let people know;-)

Booking.com engages in a bait-and-switch scheme and defrauded me out of $2,354. In Sept'22 I booked a place to stay on the beach in Bali over Christmas break. I paid and received a confirmation. In late Nov they canceled my paid reservation and offered a low-rated away-from-the-beach " alternative" for just a partial number of days over my stay. They asked me to book a suitable property instead and promised reimbursement. Naturally booking 3 weeks in advance of the trip resulted in much higher prices. I ended up paying an extra $2354 and was refunded $26 as a goodwill gesture (what a joke). I demand BBB investigate booking.com business practices. Fraudulent pricing strategies are not acceptable from a publicly traded company.

Took my payment twice and I cannot get anyone to issue a refund! Useless!
They took my money twice and I cannot get a refund. I cannot express how utterly useless and negligent this company is. The customer service staff are all based in the Phillipines and are polite but have no power to do anything to resolve issues. You'll be asked to email them, which will then be ignored. Please DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM. They do not care about you and will not help you. They have hundreds of £ of my money and I have spent 3 hours on the phone on several occasions, but nothing changes, nothing is done. If you insist on getting help or speaking with a supervisor, they suddenly cannot hear you and the line "develops a fault" - how very convenient..

Charged me twice

I don't recommend this App (booking.com) terrible service my 3rd bad experience but NO MORE! Last week I stayed using this app and they charged me Twice and I submitted my bank statement with the charge and no one reply my request. PLEASE DON'T USE this app if you want save money. Terrific customer service over the phone.
