Worst place and people to ever deal with. Won't be long before they go out of business. They switched my motel room from handicapped to a regular room on the 2nd floor toward the end of the hall, which I can't access due to my disability.
I booked an Airbnb with these clowns in oshaw Ontario last weekend a house was nice don't get me wrong but the place had cockroaches had no hot water and then on top of it they tried to say I didn't even stay there and they sat there and they're openly just ripping me off for the money I spent so I highly suggest finding a different app or different group of people to try to book through cuz these guys are worse garbage
Same property advertised on Air B& B, only it was £10 cheaper even AFTER a 10% genius discount provided by Booking.com. On review Booking.com stated that the offer wasn't the same since Air B&B only offered a free cancellation for 48 hours rather than <7 days prior to travel. Absolutely disgusted. The customer Service rep I spoke to was pleasant, but the system/Manager was truly dreadful. I won't use Booking.com again as a guest, and the property that I currently advertise on Air B&B won't be moving or shared with Booking.com. Shame on you Booking.com
BOOKING.COM, THEY ARE THIEVES, THEY DID NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KELLY RENTAL CAR AND I HAD TO PAY AGAIN FOR THE CAR I RENT, booking.com charged me for the car again, I do not recommend them to anyone.
Especially if you are doing a last-minute booking, be sure to read EVERYTHING regarding fees for additional drivers, mandatory purchased insurance (regardless of what your credit card covers, or your own auto insurance), and the narrow window for cancellations. You may end up with some surprise charges and the person with whom you chat is unable to really offer you any meaningful resolution. Terrible experience all around - due to the additional charges to add a driver and purchase the mandatory insurance coverage, the cost would have been twice as high as advertised.
Most worst experience I've ever had using Booking.com. My reservation was canceled six days before my reservation actually started. Then I was lied to by customer service saying that they can't rebook my trip lost plane tickets and rental car funds and reservation funds and now I have to wait 7 to 12 business days to receive my refund total scam I will never use that app again. And never gave me a valid reason to why my booking was canceled. I will be seeking counsel to get refund on plane tickets, rental car for my whole family. I have family coming in from Italy to celebrate with me and we have nowhere to stay now.

Absolute trash! Will not refund ticket and will not allow for name corrections. Kept lying and saying to reach out to the airline meanwhile the airline states that ONLY the booking agency can assist. Customer service agents are very RUDE.
Booked a car for hire for a weeks holiday from the 9th to 16th of May.
On arrival at the off airport campus rental office I was told that the car had been cancelled as it was booked for 11.00 am and it was now between 5 and 6pm.
On top of this I was told by booking.com that I would only get 4 days rental credit unless I rebooked through booking.com.
Guess what? The rebooking was now at a 30% price increase.
I rebooked with booking.com to ensure a 100% refund and avoid hassle. Would I use the company again? No!

They dont own any responsibility for their guests and only act as an aggregator. Once the booking is done, everything else is based on how the property responds. They dont have any control on what the property can do to their guests. 100% advance payments and then suffer for the period of your stay. The support team simply denies any support and leaves the guests on their own to figure out a solution. Property blames booking.com for any issues pertaining to booking done and booking.com declares ant assistance ne taken directly with the property. International agents makes it more difficult to resolve or understand indian sentiments or issues and parrots the scripts given to them. This is my 2nd worst experience with booking.com. I only wish that none of us book with them to fall on such trap. I wasted ny hard earned money by booking the property and i checked out a day early with nothing being compensated for early checkout even if the property was not upto the mark.
Trying to get through the DC traffic, we pushed on and arrived at midnight. The booking price was $86. Upon arriving, they required $100 incidental fee! Really? What are we going to buy from you at midnight? This should be clearly stated in the booking price. The not so helpful manager said it would be refunded in 24hours! Sure, I believe you! I've been calling Booking.com for over three weeks now and still no Refund for a flight I cancelled within 24 hrs with them and the airline. I've been lied to over eight times by them and still waiting on an email from them. They keep blaming the airline and my bank, which I have talked to both and the airline and bank have assured me it's with Booking.com. I will never use their services again and encourage everyone to avoid the absolute unprofessional treatment and use an alternative vacation booking service.
I I unfortunately had to cancel my trip. Booking.com was not helpful and I had to call the hotel and talk to them myself and ask for refund. They could not refund back to my card because booking sent their financial not mine. However refunded the full amount with zero fees or penalties immediately. Booking.com refused to acknowledge the cancellation and had had my money for three weeks now. The hotel manager I spoke with said that it's quite common with this company and actually had seven other customers dealing with the issues. They are crooks. I will never ever book with them ever again. Beware of the shady practices of business.
On 30th April 2023 I booked a hotel via Booking.com App. Their system seemed to crush. They took $778 from my debit card instantly no room was booked. I got a pop up message on my screen that something went wrong they weren't able to book the room but I would get my.money refunded within 24 hours. It is now two weeks and several emails and phone calls to Booking.com but I have not had a refund or an explanation of what went wrong. Booking.com is a scam company. Please do not use them
I tried booking a family trip through Booking.com. When I arrived at the hotel we were given the wrong room (we need a suite to accommodate our 5 year old twins) and promptly checked out. I was told by Booking.com I would receive a full refund in 7-12 days because they had the wrong room code (Hilton said this had happened 3 times before). So we took our kids and luggage across town and booked at another Hilton (I was loyal to the Hilton brand name). Now neither party will help me get the refund I was promised on the phone before we left. I've spent hours on the phone with Booking.com and all they've offered is $25 Euros (the trip was $533). We will never use this service again, or Hilton for that matter.
Do not use this service for any reason. We booked a car through them, only to be informed upon arrival at the airport that there were no cars available - but if we waited around for about 3 hours, they *might* have one. The rental company informed us, along with 100+ others in line, that if we chose to cancel, we'd be issued a full refund. Let the games begin… After being "disconnected" and hung up on by extremely rude and unhelpful agents from both the rental agency and Booking.com, we eventually got them to actually cancel the reservation, but they refused to reimburse! A month later, we're still fighting this charge through the credit card company.
These people are crooks. If you are paid for a service, but then fail to perform the service, yet charge the customer anyway, that's fraud.
Their prices are far from accurate. How does the booking go from $179 to $341? Ridiculous. Absolute robbery.
Beware if this company. NO refunds if a reservation is canceled. Total rip-off. Customer Service is also a farce.

Answer: In my case they took my payment information and paid the hotel where I was going to be staying. Only to find out that the hotel was out of business and I had to prove that it was charged to my account. They did not find me a replacement hotel to stay in for the same price. Nor did they care that I was left without a place to stay. So beware before you purchase.

When you check into your hotel, it's billed to your Bookings.com reservation plus incidentals (local calls, parking fees, resort fees, dining, bar fees, Europe charges local or city tax, spa fees...) the hotel will ask for a card as a hold for these fees. Use bookings.com, find the hotel you wish to stay in (get all info and contact them directly via website and price match) the Marriott in Rome had a room for $80.00 less on the Marriott website than these, so called MONEY SAVING SITES.

I had to go to American Express customer serviced to complain and they gave a dead line for explanation. They had no explanation for crappy service and had to repay me.
