Reserved rental car at Chania Airport, Crete/Greece. First time it automatically picked a wrong airport. Second went through but on arrival, there was no Exer rental car office or booth. No one met us despite pre-arrival promise from email, and flight number was provided. Complaint was made. Five different individuals responded without refund resolution. Online system automatically filled pick up and return time to be 10:00 am, and 10:00 am. It is a joke. Booking.com sucks, yeah!
I was told by two booking.com employees I would receive a full refund after a horrible stay at a hotel called The Dunes Inn and Suites, Tybee Island,GA that I booked through booking.com services and then I didn't get responses. I have called, emailed and messaged multiple times through the app and your employees gave nothing but false promises. You support hotels infested with bugs and mold rather than the consumer. Booking.com is a garbage service with garbage customer service and I will be reporting the BBB.
This site is only a cheater. I book a hotel in Queenstown, NZ for our Nz trip in april 2023,that booking has a cancellation fee of 500Nzd, you pay 700 and if you cancel the booking you will receive only 200 refund. Well we are sure about the travel date so we booked it. After all things finalized, I realize the booking date were on May, not April. That is impossible that I made such mistake. I contact the Hotel and then they agree to waive the cancellation fee and they will give me full refund. They ask me to contact Booking. Com for that refund. But since that day, Booking. Com is un contactable! They did not reply my email! They just took the money and ran! I suspect that the mistake on that booking date is manupulated by them in order to rob people! So your guys steer away from them, they are just cheaters.
HongKong Tuyi Business Travel Limited is a "third party" which uses Booking.com name and platform to book hotels and stuff. Turns out that when conflict arise, Booking.com turns their back on you saying they cant help since the booking was made by "that" crapy company. But wait, who's the platform owner?

I was a loyal customer of booking.com but my last experience in Sri Lanka has been dissapointing.
I had to cancel 2 seperate bookings the reason being not as promised while booking.
I one case I was made to pay cash in full at the venue when I was refused Wifi connection & also A/c as mentioned on my booking. Besides the location was far from what was mentioned on booking.com
Sorry to say this but the helpline till dated has not done anything about this.

The website said I could cancel my reservation the day of arrival and when I tried the link to cancel it didn't work and I tried to chat and ask for help but it didn't work neither. I contacted customer service and they said why would help but the next day they sent an email saying they couldn't help. It was my first and last experience with this platform; it is not reliable and you may waste your money. I am very disappointed. I was charged by the hotel. I called the hotel and they said something completely different from what Booking.con had on their website (false/inaccurate advertising).
I had a problem with the hotel I checked in through booking.com. I paid security deposit to the hotel and up until now they are not returning the money back. It's already more than 2 mos. I tried to message the customer service of booking.com but they are repeating the same questions and I keep answering those but they are not responsive at all. Not helping with my concern.

I booked a room at a discounted rate and once the booking was confirmed the following day I recieved a message that the price was an error and they cannot honour it. Once a customer makes a booking then it should be honoured but booking.com seem to think it's ok to just cancel the booking altogether.
I bought the insurance for a flight booked through Booking.com. Needed to cancel the flight. When it came time pay the insurance claim, Booking.com came up with all kinds of reasons why it can't be paid. And worse, they "footballed" me around from department to department only to get nothing done.

I booked one night on May 12,2023 for Convenience guest house from Booking.com. When I got there, nobody was in this property,which is dark house and locked. They ask me to pay deposits with weird link after I phoned them. But my iphone blocked this link. Then I had to leave this property. Nobody contact me before and after May 12. Next day I phoned booking, one week later, I phoned booking again. They can't refund me because property owner refuse to. I have no way to get money back even Nobody open the door for me.
They changed my flight and said they had sent email about it but they hadn't. At the time they rearranged it for. I had just got from Guernsey to Manchester or was still in the air. Tried calling them but they don't answer and website us useless. I went to check in with Desk of flight as soon as I got to manchester about 0820 and it was closed, so how could flight have been rearranged for that time. No accountability. Don't suppose I'll get money back. Loganair said could not book me on Later flight to Lerwick as I had booked with 3rd party ie booking. Com

Booking.com flights were cancelled by airline and no refund was received over 3 months later, despite over 30 emails and phone calls to booking.com. Their customer service did nothing to help, gave conflicting and confusing information and I had to take further action and open a dispute resolution case with them. Do not use booking.com for flights.

I recently spent three weeks in Japan and tried to book rooms with the credit. Every time it said it didn't work or something went wrong. I wanted to reserve an apartment in Paris for June 2023, reservation subject to approval of the owner. His answer was supposed to reach me within 24 hours. 3 days later, still nothing. I try to contact Booking.com but to contact them is almost impossible without a reservation number. It seems that Booking has never considered a situation where you would have a problem before you even have a reservation! Stupid!
Well, I end up getting a phone number, I explain my case, Booking apologizes (that's a shame!) but is unable to explain what happened. Then Booking tells me that the accommodation in question is still available on my dates. So they know exactly which accommodation it is. So, because I hadn't kept the name of the accommodation, I ask Booking to give me the name again, so I can book (or try to...) again. No answer for 5 days, and as many emails. Very frustrating and unpleasant experience.

Only to find out that the hotel was out of business and I had to prove that it was charged to my account. They did not find me a replacement hotel to stay in for the same price. Nor did they care that I was left without a place to stay. So beware before you purchase.

When you check into your hotel, it's billed to your Bookings.com reservation plus incidentals (local calls, parking fees, resort fees, dining, bar fees, Europe charges local or city tax, spa fees...) the hotel will ask for a card as a hold for these fees. Use bookings.com, find the hotel you wish to stay in (get all info and contact them directly via website and price match) the Marriott in Rome had a room for $80.00 less on the Marriott website than these, so called MONEY SAVING SITES.
