I received some parts (spark plugs) with a different part number on them. I called customer service for a return authorization and spoke with Chris. I explained the reason for returning, and needed to order the correct parts. Chirs looked up the parts and saw a problem with the part number, so he immediately got in contact with Yamaha and solved my issue, The part number had superseded to another one, but the new part number did not show in Boats.net's system. Thank you Chris, for going the xtra mile.

Ordered the cables in the morning they shipped the same day I received them a day later. They are installed and rigged throttle is smooth as glass.
UPS regularly doesn't scan packages when received from them. So days into an order if you call boats.net they keep telling you it should be on the way when it might never show up. And that did happen to me. Customer is upset and I'm trusting boats.net because that's normal for them… then I call for a refund and not even an apology.
I accidentally ordered the wrong part and opened the packaging. I was able to efficiently get it returned and promptly was refunded. The customer service through the process was great!
I ordered an OEM yamaha oil filter wrench for a 350. When it arrived it was too small for the oil filter. 30$ down the drain
I have a Honda 50. It had a 14 pitch prop on it. The boat wouldn't plain out. Changed it to a 11 pitch. Now it plains out fast and gets up to 36mph

We order a lot because we are not a dealer. The parts search is ok, but it does not show or tell you of superceded numbers,, at least not clearly. It is confusing to order one number and get a different one. Only to find we may allready have it.
We do not get an invoice upon delivery which makes it difficult to identify which order and what it was for.
Delivery is too long and un predictable.

Packing Slip & Invoicing: Every shipment includes a detailed packing slip listing the parts and quantities included. Additionally, an itemized shipping confirmation email is sent when your order ships. Shipping Delays: All of your orders were shipped on time from our facility. However, there was a temporary service disruption on UPS’s side that caused unexpected delays.
