THE YAMAHA FILL APPARATUS FOR OUTBOARD GAS TANK I ORDERED WAS FOR A 6 GALLON TANK, HOWEVER THE ONE I RECEIVED WAS FOR A 3 GALLON TANK.
THE FILL TUBE IS HALF THE LENGTH REQUIRED..

First, when I say "hard to find Yamaha part" it's not because it's not out there…. But, when I searched the specific part number I needed, droves of different companies websites pop up and were suggested as having carrying this particular part. I did like any other shopper would do, click on the first one and looking for the best price. Where my search lead me to Boats.net was because the first two sites I clicked on all lead me to believe they had the part only to be told parts not available once I tried to checkout. But, finally finding Boats.net website… not only did they indicate rather or not the part was "In Stock" on the initial product page, but they indicated the price (lowest out of all of them) and indicated my approximate delivery date if ordered today. And on top of all that … free delivery and here local in the USA. My part arrived on time and as advertised. Now I keep Boats.net book marked and will now make them my FIRST go-to for all my boating and parts needs. I went to boat.net to find a few tank for a generator. The down fall is the details and pictures. Fingers crossed the fuel tank will work. Bright side is I have 90 days to return item if it doesn't work.

On my last order I mistakenly ordered the wrong parts for my motor and had to return them. The parts were received and I was quickly issued a refund with no hassle. This was greatly appreciated. JW.

I bought a new carburetor and realized gaskets don't come with it. Ordered it a day or two after receiving the carburetor. A set of gaskets for a tiny carburetor (Honda 2.3) fit in an envelope. I was charged almost $9 for shipping and have yet to receive the item.
